Hadith 263
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَعُودَ تَوَضَّأَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` "When any one of you a wants to return (to have intercourse again), let him perform Wudu'."
Hadith 477
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ زَاذَانَ ، عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ أَبِي بِشْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قال : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَقُومُ فِي الظُّهْرِ فَيَقْرَأُ قَدْرَ ثَلَاثِينَ آيَةً فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَةٍ ، ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فِي الْعَصْرِ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ قَدْرَ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ آيَةً " .
´It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to stand in Zuhr and recite the equivalent of thirty verses in each Rak'ah, then in the first two Rak'ahs of 'Asr he would stand for the equivalent of fifteen verses."
Hadith 900
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ : " سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ تَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed that:` When the Prophet (ﷺ) started to pray he would say: "Subhanakallahumma, wa bihamdika tabarakasmuka wa ta'ala jadduka wa la ilaha ghairuk (Glory and praise be to You, O Allah. Blessed be Your name and exalted be Your majesty, there is none worthy of worship except You.)"
Hadith 901
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قال : حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قال : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ : " سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed said:` "When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) started to pray, he would say: 'Subhanakallahumma, wa bihamdika tabarakasmuka wa ta'ala jadduka wa la ilaha ghairuk (Glory and praise be to You, O Allah. Hadith 3408
أَخْبَرَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ : " أَنَّهَا يَعْنِي أَتَتْ بِطَعَامٍ فِي صَحْفَةٍ لَهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابِهِ ، فَجَاءَتْ عَائِشَةُ مُتَّزِرَةً بِكِسَاءٍ , وَمَعَهَا فِهْرٌ , فَفَلَقَتْ بِهِ الصَّحْفَةَ , فَجَمَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ فِلْقَتَيِ الصَّحْفَةِ , وَيَقُولُ : " كُلُوا , غَارَتْ أُمُّكُمْ " , مَرَّتَيْنِ . ثُمَّ أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَحْفَةَ عَائِشَةَ ، فَبَعَثَ بِهَا إِلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ وَأَعْطَى صَحْفَةَ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَائِشَةَ " .
Narrated from Umm al-Mu’minin Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she brought food in a bowl to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his companions. Meanwhile, Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) came wearing a sheet, and she had a stone with her, with which she struck the bowl and broke it into two pieces. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to join the two pieces of the bowl and was saying: “Eat, your mother has become jealous,” and he said it twice. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took Aisha’s bowl and sent it to Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), and gave Umm Salamah’s bowl to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her).
Hadith 4569
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ , عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ , أَنَّ أَبَا الْمُتَوَكِّلِ مَرَّ بِهِمْ فِي السُّوقِ , فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ قَوْمٌ أَنَا مِنْهُمْ , قَالَ : " قُلْنَا أَتَيْنَاكَ لِنَسْأَلَكَ عَنِ الصَّرْفِ ؟ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ , قَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ : مَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَيْرُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ؟ , قَالَ : لَيْسَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ غَيْرُهُ , قَالَ : فَإِنَّ الذَّهَبَ بِالذَّهَبِ , وَالْوَرِقَ بِالْوَرِقِ , قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ : أَوْ قَالَ : وَالْفِضَّةَ بِالْفِضَّةِ , وَالْبُرَّ بِالْبُرِّ , وَالشَّعِيرَ بِالشَّعِيرِ , وَالتَّمْرَ بِالتَّمْرِ , وَالْمِلْحَ بِالْمِلْحِ , سَوَاءً بِسَوَاءٍ , فَمَنْ زَادَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ , أَوِ ازْدَادَ , فَقَدْ أَرْبَى , وَالْآخِذُ وَالْمُعْطِي فِيهِ سَوَاءٌ " .
´It was narrated from Sulaiman bin Ali:` "Abu Al-Mutawakkil passed by them in the market and some people, including me, stood up to greet him. We said: 'We have come to you to ask you about transactions.' He said: 'I heard a man say to Abu Saeed Al-Khudri': 'Is there anyone between you and the Messenger of Allah (in the chain of narrators) apart from Abu Saeed Al-Khudri? He said: 'There is no one else between him and I. He said: Gold for gold, silver for silver, wheat for wheat, barley for barley, dates for dates, salt for salt, equal amounts. Whoever gives more than that or takes more has engaged in Riba, and the taker and the giver are the same."'
Hadith 5571
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُتَوَكِّلِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُخْلَطَ بُسْرٌ بِتَمْرٍ ، أَوْ زَبِيبٌ بِتَمْرٍ ، أَوْ زَبِيبٌ بِبُسْرٍ " , وَقَالَ : " مَنْ شَرِبَهُ مِنْكُمْ فَلْيَشْرَبْ كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُ فَرْدًا تَمْرًا فَرْدًا ، أَوْ بُسْرًا فَرْدًا ، أَوْ زَبِيبًا فَرْدًا " .
´It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said:` "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade mixing Al-Busr with dried dates, or raisins with dried dates, or raisins with Al-Busr, and he said: 'Whoever among you (wants to) drink them, let him drink each one of them on its own: dried dates on their own, or Al-Busr on their own, or raisins on their own."
Hadith 5572
أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُتَوَكِّلِ النَّاجِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نَهَى أَنْ يُخْلَطَ بُسْرًا بِتَمْرٍ ، أَوْ زَبِيبًا بِتَمْرٍ ، أَوْ زَبِيبًا بِبُسْرٍ " ، وَقَالَ : " مَنْ شَرِبَ مِنْكُمْ فَلْيَشْرَبْ كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُ فَرْدًا " . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ : هَذَا أَبُو الْمُتَوَكِّلِ اسْمُهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ دَاوُدَ .
´Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri narrated that:` The Prophet [SAW] forbade mixing Al-Busr with dried dates, or raisins with dried dates, or raisins with Al-Busr, and he said: "Whoever among you (wants to) drink them, let him drink each one on its own."
Hadith 5574
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَافَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ عِمْرَانَ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نَهَى أَنْ يُنْبَذَ التَّمْرُ وَالزَّبِيبُ ، وَالتَّمْرُ وَالْبُسْرُ ، وَقَالَ : " انْتَبِذُوا الزَّبِيبَ فَرْدًا ، وَالتَّمْرَ فَرْدًا ، وَالْبُسْرَ فَرْدًا " ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ : أَبُو كَثِيرٍ اسْمُهُ يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ .
´It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri that:` The Prophet [SAW] forbade soaking dried dates and raisins, and dried dates and Al-Busr, and he said: "Soak raisins on their own, and dried dates on their own, and Al-Busr on their own."
Hadith 5636
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الشُّرْبِ فِي الْحَنْتَمِ ، وَالدُّبَّاءِ ، وَالنَّقِيرِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said:` The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade drinking from green pitchers, gourds and vessels carved from wood.
