Hadith 239
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّهُ لَيَسْتَغْفِرُ لِلْعَالِمِ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ ، حَتَّى الْحِيتَانِ فِي الْبَحْرِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Dharr said:` "I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Everyone in the universe, in the heavens and on earth, prays for forgiveness for the scholar, even the fish in the sea."
Hadith 332
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : " كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَتَنَحَّى لِحَاجَتِهِ ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَدَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ " .
´It was narrated that Anas said:` "I was with the Prophet on a journey. He went away to relieve himself, then he came and called for water and performed ablution."
Hadith 548
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ ، فَقَالَ : " هَلْ مِنْ مَاءٍ ؟ فَتَوَضَّأَ ، وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ ، ثُمَّ لَحِقَ بِالْجَيْشِ فَأَمَّهُمْ " .
´It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:` "I was with the Messenger of Allah on a journey, and he said: 'Is there any water?' He performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks, then he joined the army and led them (in prayer)."
Hadith 1428
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا يُصَلِّي الْإِمَامُ فِي مُقَامِهِ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ ، حَتَّى يَتَنَحَّى عَنْهُ " .
´It was narrated from Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The Imam should not pray in the place where he offered the obligatory prayer, until he moves aside.” Another chain from Mughirah, from the Prophet (ﷺ) with similar wording.
Hadith 2071
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَرْبَعٌ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ لَا مُلَاعَنَةَ بَيْنَهُنَّ النَّصْرَانِيَّةُ تَحْتَ الْمُسْلِمِ ، وَالْيَهُودِيَّةُ تَحْتَ الْمُسْلِمِ ، وَالْحُرَّةُ تَحْتَ الْمَمْلُوكِ ، وَالْمَمْلُوكَةُ تَحْتَ الْحُرِّ " .
´It was nanated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that:` the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "There are four kinds of women for whom there is no Li'an: a Christian woman married to a Muslim, a Jewish woman married to a Muslim, a free woman married to a slave, and a slave woman married to a free man."
Hadith 2905
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْغَوْثِ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْفُرْعِ أَنَّهُ اسْتَفْتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ حَجَّةٍ كَانَتْ عَلَى أَبِيهِ مَاتَ وَلَمْ يَحُجَّ ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ " ، وَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَكَذَلِكَ الصِّيَامُ فِي النَّذْرِ ، يُقْضَى عَنْهُ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Ghawth bin Husain – a man from Furu’ – that he consulted the Prophet (ﷺ) about a Hajj that his father owed, but he had died and had not gone for Hajj. The Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Perform Hajj on behalf of your father.” And the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The same applies to fasting in fulfillment of a vow – it should be made up for.”
Hadith 3136
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ الْبُرْسَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عَطَاءٌ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ عَلَيَّ بَدَنَةً ، وَأَنَا مُوسِرٌ بِهَا وَلَا أَجِدُهَا فَأَشْتَرِيَهَا ، فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَبْتَاعَ سَبْعَ شِيَاهٍ فَيَذْبَحَهُنَّ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that a man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said:` “I have to offer a sacrifice and I can afford it, but I cannot find (a camel) to buy.” The Prophet (ﷺ) told him to buy seven sheep and slaughter them.
Hadith 3338
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُمَيْرٍ عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّحَّاسُ الرَّمْلِيُّ , حَدَّثَنَا ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَطَاءٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ : " زَارَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَوْمَهُ بَيِنَنَا , فَأَتَوْهُ بِرُقَاقٍ مِنْ رُقَاقِ الْأُوَلِ , فَبَكَى , وَقَالَ : " مَا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذَا بِعَيْنِهِ قَطُّ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Ata that his father said:` “Abu Hurairah visited his people, meaning, a village” – I (one of the narrators) think he said: “Yuna” – “And they brought him some of the first thin loaves of bread. He wept and said: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) never saw such a thing with his own eyes.’”
