Hadith 1189
وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ جميعا ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ طَيَّبْتِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَ حُرْمِهِ ؟ ، قَالَتْ : " بِأَطْيَبِ الطِّيبِ " .
'Uthman bin 'Urwa reported on the authority of his father that he said: I asked 'A'isha with what thing she perfumed the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) at the time of entering upon the state of Ihram. She said: With the best of perfume.
Hadith 1189
وَحَدَّثْنَاهُ أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُرْوَةَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : " كُنْتُ أُطَيِّبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأَطْيَبِ مَا أَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ ثُمَّ يُحْرِمُ " .
'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I applied the best perfume, which I could get, to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) before entering upon the state of Ihram (and after this) he put on the Ihram.
