Hadith 294
أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَكَانَتْ تَكُونُ فِي حَجْرِهَا ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً اسْتَفْتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ دَمِ الْحَيْضِ يُصِيبُ الثَّوْبَ ، فَقَالَ : " حُتِّيهِ ثُمَّ اقْرُصِيهِ بِالْمَاءِ ثُمَّ انْضَحِيهِ وَصَلِّي فِيهِ " .
´It was narrated from Asma' bint Abi Bakr taht a woman asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about menstrual blood that gets on clothes. He said:` "Scratch it, then rub it with water, then sprinkle water over it, and pray in it."
Hadith 394
أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، وَكَانَتْ تَكُونُ فِي حَجْرِهَا ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً اسْتَفْتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ دَمِ الْحَيْضِ يُصِيبُ الثَّوْبَ ، فَقَالَ : " حُتِّيهِ وَاقْرُصِيهِ وَانْضَحِيهِ وَصَلِّي فِيهِ " .
´It was narrated from Asma' bint Abi Bakr that a woman asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about menstrual blood that gets on clothes. He said:` "Scratch it, then rub it with water, then sprinkle water over it, and pray in it."
Hadith 1499
أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، قَالَتْ : " صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْكُسُوفِ ، فَقَامَ فَأَطَالَ الْقِيَامَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَأَطَالَ الرُّكُوعَ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ فَأَطَالَ الْقِيَامَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَأَطَالَ الرُّكُوعَ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ فَأَطَالَ السُّجُودَ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ فَأَطَالَ السُّجُودَ ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَأَطَالَ الْقِيَامَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَأَطَالَ الرُّكُوعَ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ فَأَطَالَ الْقِيَامَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَأَطَالَ الرُّكُوعَ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ فَأَطَالَ السُّجُودَ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ فَأَطَالَ السُّجُودَ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ " .
´It was narrated that Asma' bint Abi Bakr said:` The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed during an eclipse. He stood for a long time, then he bowed for a long time, then he stood up and (remained standing) for a long time, then he bowed for a long time, then he stood up, then he prostrated for a long time, then he stood up and (remained standing) for a long time, then he bowed for a long time, then he stood up, then he prostrated for a long time, then he sat up, then he prostrated for a long time, then he sat up and then he finished."
Hadith 2064
أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ , تَقُولُ : قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ الْفِتْنَةَ الَّتِي يُفْتَنُ بِهَا الْمَرْءُ فِي قَبْرِهِ ، فَلَمَّا ذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ ضَجَّ الْمُسْلِمُونَ ضَجَّةً حَالَتْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ أَنْ أَفْهَمَ كَلَامَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَلَمَّا سَكَنَتْ ضَجَّتُهُمْ قُلْتُ لِرَجُلٍ قَرِيبٍ مِنِّي ، أَيْ بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ مَاذَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي آخِرِ قَوْلِهِ ؟ قَالَ : " قَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّكُمْ تُفْتَنُونَ فِي الْقُبُورِ قَرِيبًا مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ " .
´'Urwah bin Az-Zubair (narrated) that he heard Asma' bint Abi Bakr say:` "The Messenger of Allah stood up and mentioned the trail with which a person will be tested in his grave. When he mentioned that the people became restless, which prevented me from understanding what the Messenger of Allah had said. When they settled down, I said to a man who was near me: 'May Allah bless you, what did the end?' he said: 'It has been revealed to me that you will be tested in your graves with a trial close to that of the Dajjal."'
Hadith 2551
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ آدَمَ ، عَنْ عَبْدَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهَا : " لَا تُحْصِي ، فَيُحْصِيَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيْكِ " .
´It was narrated from Asma' bint Abi Bakr that the Prophet said to her:` "Do not count what you give, otherwise Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will count what He gives to you."
Hadith 2552
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ : أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، أَنَّهَا جَاءَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ : يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ! لَيْسَ لِي شَيْءٌ ، إِلَّا مَا أَدْخَلَ عَلَيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ ، فَهَلْ عَلَيَّ جُنَاحٌ فِي أَنْ أَرْضَخَ مِمَّا يُدْخِلُ عَلَيَّ ؟ فَقَالَ : " ارْضَخِي مَا اسْتَطَعْتِ ، وَلَا تُوكِي فَيُوكِيَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيْكِ " .
´It was narrated from Asma' bint Abi Bakr that she came to the Prophet and said:` "O Prophet of Allah, I do not have anything but that which Az-Zubair brings to me. Is there any sin on me if I give a small amount of that which he brings to me?" He said: Give whatever you can, and do not withhold what you have, lest Allah withhold provision from you."
Hadith 2995
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، قَالَتْ : قَدِمْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُهِلِّينَ بِالْحَجِّ فَلَمَّا دَنَوْنَا مِنْ مَكَّةَ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ فَلْيَحْلِلْ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ فَلْيُقِمْ عَلَى إِحْرَامِهِ " ، قَالَتْ : وَكَانَ مَعَ الزُّبَيْرِ هَدْيٌ فَأَقَامَ عَلَى إِحْرَامِهِ ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ مَعِي هَدْيٌ ، فَأَحْلَلْتُ ، فَلَبِسْتُ ثِيَابِي وَتَطَيَّبْتُ مِنْ طِيبِي ، ثُمَّ جَلَسْتُ إِلَى الزُّبَيْرِ ، فَقَالَ : اسْتَأْخِرِي عَنِّي ، فَقُلْتُ : أَتَخْشَى أَنْ أَثِبَ عَلَيْكَ .
´It was narrated from Asma bint Abi Bakr who said:` "We came with the Messenger of Allah reciting the Talbiyah for Hajj. When we drew close to Makkah, the Messenger of Alla said: 'Whoever does not have a Hadi with him, let him exit Ihram. Whoever has a Hadi with him, let him remain in Ihram.' Az-Zubair had a Hadi with him so he remained in Ihram, but I did not have a Hadi with me so I exited Ihram, put on my some of my perfume. Then I sat down with As-Zubair and he said: "Go away from me.' I said: 'Are you afraid that I am going to jump on you?'"
Hadith 3053
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ ، أَنَّ مَوْلًى لِأَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَهُ ، قَالَ : " جِئْتُ مَعَ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ مِنًى بِغَلَسٍ ، فَقُلْتُ لَهَا : لَقَدْ جِئْنَا مِنًى بِغَلَسٍ ، فَقَالَتْ : قَدْ كُنَّا نَصْنَعُ هَذَا مَعَ مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْكَ " .
´It was narrated from Ata bin Abi Rabah that a freed slave of Asma bin Abi Bakr told him:` "I came with Asma bint Abi Bakr to Mina at the end of the night and I said to her: 'We have come to Mina at the end of the night.' She said: 'We sued to do this one who was better than you.'"
Hadith 4411
أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ عَسْقَلَانُ بَلْخٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، قَالَتْ : " نَحَرْنَا فَرَسًا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَكَلْنَاهُ " .
´It was narrated that Asma bint Abi Bakr said:` "We slaughtered (Naharna) a horse during the time of the Messenger of Allah and ate it". (Sahih )
Hadith 4425
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ ، قَالَتْ : " نَحَرْنَا فَرَسًا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَكَلْنَاهُ " ، وَقَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : فَأَكَلْنَا لَحْمَهُ . خَالَفَهُ عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ .
´It was narrated that Asma said:` "We slaughtered (Naharna) a horse during the time of Messenger of Allah and ate it." In his hadith Qutaibah (one of the narrators) said: "And we ate its meat." (Sahih ) 'Abdah bin sulaiman contradicted him.
Hadith 4426
أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ آدَمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ ، قَالَتْ : " ذَبَحْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَسًا ، وَنَحْنُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَأَكَلْنَاهُ " .
´It was narrated that Asma said:` "We slaughtered (naharna) a horse during the time of the Messenger of Allah while we were in Al-Madinah, and we ate it." (Sahih )
Hadith 5097
أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ امْرَأَتِهِ فَاطِمَةَ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " لَعَنَ الْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةَ " .
´It was narrated from Hisham bin 'Urwah, from his wife Fatimah, from Asma' bint Abi Bakr, that:` The Messenger of Allah [SAW] cursed the woman who affixes hair extensions and the woman who has that done.
Hadith 5252
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً جَاءَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , إِنَّ بِنْتًا لِي عَرُوسٌ وَإِنَّهَا اشْتَكَتْ , فَتَمَزَّقَ شَعْرُهَا فَهَلْ عَلَيَّ جُنَاحٌ إِنْ وَصَلْتُ لَهَا فِيهِ , فَقَالَ : " لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْوَاصِلَةَ ، وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةَ " .
´It was narrated from Asma' that:` A woman came to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and said: "O Messenger of Allah [SAW], a daughter of mine is going to get married. She got sick and her hair fell out. Is there any sin on me if I give her hair extensions?" He said: "Allah has cursed the woman who affixes hair extensions and the one who has that done."
