Hadith 329
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قال : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْمَاءِ وَمَا يَنُوبُهُ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ وَالسِّبَاعِ ، فَقَالَ : " إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ ، لَمْ يَحْمِلِ الْخَبَثَ " .
´It was narrated from 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that his father said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was asked about water and how some animals and carnivorous beasts might drink from it. He said: 'If the water is more than two Qullahs, it will not become filthy.'"
Hadith 1452
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قال : أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قال : " صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، وَصَلَّاهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، وَصَلَّاهَا عُمَرُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، وَصَلَّاهَا عُثْمَانُ صَدْرًا مِنْ خِلَافَتِهِ " .
´'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah bin Umar narrated that:` His father said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed two rak'ahs in Mina, and Abu Bakr prayed two rak'ahs, and Umar prayed two rak'ahs, and Uthman prayed (two rak'ahs) at the beginning of his Khilafah."
Hadith 2660
أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَثْرُودٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ ، قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ : أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ , قَالَ : " بَاتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ بِبَيْدَاءَ ، وَصَلَّى فِي مَسْجِدِهَا " .
´'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Umar narrated that his father said:` "The Messenger of Allah stayed overnight in dhul-Hulaifah, where he started his Hajj with this action, and he prayed in the Masjid there.''(sahih)
Hadith 2751
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ : " كَانَتْ تَلْبِيَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ ، لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ " , وَزَادَ فِيهِ ابْنُ عُمَرَ : " لَبَّيْكَ لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ وَالْخَيْرُ فِي يَدَيْكَ وَالرَّغْبَاءُ إِلَيْكَ وَالْعَمَلُ " .
´It was narrated from 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that his father said:` "The Talbiyah of the Messenger of Allah was: "Labbaika Allahumma Labbaik, Labbaika la sharika laka labbaik. Innal-hamda wan-ni'mata laka wal-mulk, la sharika lak (Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty, You have no partner)." And Ibn 'Umar added: "Labbaika Labbaika wasa'daika wal-khayr fi yadika, warraghba' ilaika wal-'aml (Here I am, here I am, and at Your service; all good is in Your hands, seeking Your pleasure and striving for Your sake)."
Hadith 3032
أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَهُ , أَنَّ أَبَاهُ قَالَ : " جَمَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُمَا سَجْدَةٌ ، صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ ثَلَاثَ رَكَعَاتٍ ، وَالْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ " ، وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يَجْمَعُ كَذَلِكَ حَتَّى لَحِقَ بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn Shihab that Ubaidullah bin Abdullah told him that his father said:` "The Messenger of Allah joined Maghrib and Isha with no (Voluntary) prayer in between them. He prayed Maghrib with three Rakahs and Isha with two." And Abdullah bin Umar used to join them in like manner until he met Allahm, The Mighty and Sublime.
