Hadith 1320
حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسٌ الدُّورِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ للَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لِرَجُلٍ ، كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ ، كَانَ سَهْلًا إِذَا بَاعَ سَهْلًا ، إِذَا اشْتَرَى سَهْلًا ، إِذَا اقْتَضَى " . قَالَ : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah, the Exalted, forgave a man who lived before you because he was gentle when selling, when buying, and when demanding repayment of a loan." © Imam Tirmidhi says:

Hadith 1609
حَدَّثَنَا بِذَلِكَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ جَاءَتْ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، تَسْأَلُ مِيرَاثَهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَا : سَمِعْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " إِنِّي لَا أُورَثُ " ، قَالَتْ : وَاللَّهِ لَا أُكَلِّمُكُمَا أَبَدًا ، فَمَاتَتْ وَلَا تُكَلِّمُهُمَا ، قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى : مَعْنَى لَا أُكَلِّمُكُمَا تَعْنِي : فِي هَذَا الْمِيرَاثِ أَبَدًا أَنْتُمَا صَادِقَانِ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) came to Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) to ask for her share of the inheritance of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Both of them said: We heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "I will have no heir." Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: By Allah! I will never speak to you both. Thus, she passed away without having spoken to them. The narrator, Ali bin Isa, says: The meaning of «لا أكلمكما» is that I will never speak to you both regarding this inheritance; you both are truthful. (© Imam Tirmidhi says) This hadith is narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) through several chains from Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith 3762
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلْعَبَّاسِ : " إِذَا كَانَ غَدَاةَ الِاثْنَيْنِ فَأْتِنِي أَنْتَ وَوَلَدُكَ حَتَّى أَدْعُوَ لَهُمْ بِدَعْوَةٍ يَنْفَعُكَ اللَّهُ بِهَا وَوَلَدَكَ " ، فَغَدَا وَغَدَوْنَا مَعَهُ وَأَلْبَسَنَا كِسَاءً ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْعَبَّاسِ وَوَلَدِهِ مَغْفِرَةً ظَاهِرَةً , وَبَاطِنَةً لَا تُغَادِرُ ذَنْبًا ، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْهُ فِي وَلَدِهِ " . قَالَ : هَذَا حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ، لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .
´Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to Al-'Abbas: 'On the night of Monday, come to me, you and your offspring, so that I may supplicate for them with a supplication that Allah will benefit you and your children by.' So he went, and we went with at night, so he (ﷺ) covered us in a Kisah (shawl), then said: 'O Allah, forgive Al-'Abbas and his offspring, for what is open and what is secret, with a forgiveness that does not leave any sins. O Allah! Take care of him concerning the affair of his offspring.'"
