Hadith 780
حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَوَاءٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا دُعِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى طَعَامٍ فَلْيُجِبْ ، فَإِنْ كَانَ صَائِمًا فَلْيُصَلِّ " . يَعْنِي الدُّعَاءَ .
´Abu Hurairah narrated that:` The Prophet said: "When one of you is invited to eat then let him respond, if he is fasting then let him pray." Meaning: supplicate.
Hadith 1713
حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّهْمَاءِ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ : شُكِيَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْجِرَاحَاتُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَقَالَ : " احْفِرُوا ، وَأَوْسِعُوا ، وَأَحْسِنُوا ، وَادْفِنُوا الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالثَّلَاثَةَ فِي قَبْرٍ وَاحِدٍ ، وَقَدِّمُوا أَكْثَرَهُمْ قُرْآنًا " ، فَمَاتَ أَبِي ، فَقُدِّمَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَجُلَيْنِ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْبَاب ، عَنْ خَبَّابٍ ، وَجَابِرٍ ، وَأَنَسٍ ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَرَوَى سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، وَغَيْرُهُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، وَأَبُو الدَّهْمَاءِ اسْمُهُ : قِرْفَةُ بْنُ بُهَيْسٍ أَوْ بَيْهَسٍ .
Hisham bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: On the day of Uhud, complaints were made to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the wounds. He said: "Dig graves and make them spacious and good. Bury two or three men in one grave, and put the one who knows more Qur'an (closer) towards the Qiblah." Hisham bin Amir says: My father also passed away, so he was placed ahead of his two companions (i.e., closer to the Qiblah). © Imam Tirmidhi says:

Hadith 1775
حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ نَبْهَانَ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَنْتَعِلَ الرَّجُلُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ وَرَوَى عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّقِّيُّ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَكِلَا الْحَدِيثَيْنِ لَا يَصِحُّ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ ، وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ نَبْهَانَ لَيْسَ عِنْدَهُمْ بِالْحَافِظِ ، وَلَا نَعْرِفُ لِحَدِيثِ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَصْلًا .
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade anyone from putting on shoes while standing. 1© Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is gharib (strange/rare).
2- Ubaidullah bin Umar Waraqee narrated this hadith from Mu’ammar, Mu’ammar from Qatadah, and Qatadah from Anas; both these ahadith are not considered authentic by the scholars of hadith. The memory of Harith bin Nubhan is not considered strong by the scholars of hadith.
3- We do not know of any original source for the hadith of Qatadah narrated from Anas.

حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَوَاءٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " تَهَادَوْا فَإِنَّ الْهَدِيَّةَ تُذْهِبُ وَحَرَ الصَّدْرِ ، وَلَا تَحْقِرَنَّ جَارَةٌ لِجَارَتِهَا ، وَلَوْ شِقَّ فِرْسِنِ شَاةٍ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ، وَأَبُو مَعْشَرٍ اسْمُهُ نَجِيحٌ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ ، وَقَدْ تَكَلَّمَ فِيهِ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ قِبَلِ حِفْظِهِ .
Narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Give gifts to one another, for gifts remove malice from the heart. Let no neighbor regard the gift of her neighbor as insignificant, even if it is only a hoof of a goat." © Imam Tirmidhi says:

2- Abu Ma’shar’s name is Najeeh; he was a freed slave of Banu Hashim. Some scholars have spoken about his memory.
