Hadith 22
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ الْمِسْمَعِيُّ مَالِكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ وَاقِدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ ، حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ، وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ ، وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ ، فَإِذَا فَعَلُوا ، عَصَمُوا مِنِّي ، دِمَاءَهُمْ ، وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا ، وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ " .
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: I have been commanded that I should fight against people till they declare that there is no god but Allah, and when they profess it that there is no god but Allah, their blood and riches are guaranteed protection on my behalf except where it is justified by law, and their affairs rest with Allah, and then he (the Holy Prophet) recited (this verse of the Holy Qur'an):" Thou art not over them a warden" (lxxxviii, 22).
Hadith 904
وحَدَّثَنِيهِ أَبُو غَسَّانَ الْمِسْمَعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " وَرَأَيْتُ فِي النَّارِ امْرَأَةً حِمْيَرِيَّةً سَوْدَاءَ طَوِيلَةً " ، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ .
This hadith has been narrated by Hisham with the same chain of transmitters except this" I saw a dark woman with a tail stature and loud voice," but he made no mention of" from among Bani Israel".
Hadith 2719
وحَدَّثَنَاه مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْمِسْمَعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ فِي هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ .
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Shu'bah with the same chain of transmitters.
Hadith 533
وحَدَّثَنَاه إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ ، وَعَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ كلاهما ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ ، غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي حَدِيثِهِمَا : بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ .
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ja'far with the same chain of transmitters with this variation (that the words are): "Allah would build for him a house in Paradise."
