Hadith 1220
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى التَّيْمِيُّ ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ مَوْلَى الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَكَبَّرَ ، ثُمَّ أَشَارَ إِلَيْهِمْ ، فَمَكَثُوا ، ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ فَاغْتَسَلَ ، وَكَانَ رَأْسُهُ يَقْطُرُ مَاءً ، فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ ، فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ ، قَالَ : " إِنِّي خَرَجْتُ إِلَيْكُمْ جُنُبًا ، وَإِنِّي نَسِيتُ حَتَّى قُمْتُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` “The Prophet (ﷺ) came out to pray and said the Takbir, then he gestured to them to wait. He went and took a bath, and his head was dripping with water while he led them in prayer. When he finished he said: ‘I came out to you in a state of sexual impurity, and I forgot until I had started to pray.’”
Hadith 2264
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، وَإِسْحَاق بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ مَوْلَى الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ ، أَنَّ زَيْدًا أَبَا عَيَّاشٍ مَوْلًى لِبَنِي زُهْرَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ عَنِ اشْتِرَاءِ الْبَيْضَاءِ بِالسُّلْتِ ؟ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ سَعْدٌ : أَيَّتُهُمَا أَفْضَلُ ، قَالَ : الْبَيْضَاءُ فَنَهَانِي عَنْهُ ، وَقَالَ : إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ اشْتِرَاءِ الرُّطَبِ بِالتَّمْرِ ، فَقَالَ : " أَيَنْقُصُ الرُّطَبُ إِذَا يَبِسَ ؟ " ، قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، فَنَهَى عَنْ ذَلِكَ .
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Yazid, the freed slave of Al-Aswad bin Sufyan, that :` Zaid, Abu 'Ayyash, the freed slave of Bani Zuhrah, told him that he asked Sa'd bin Abu Waqqas about buying wheat with barley. Sa'd said to him: "Which of them is better?" He said: "Wheat." He told him not to do that and said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) being asked about buying fresh dates with dried dates, and he said: 'Do fresh dates decrease in weight when they become dry?' They said: 'Yes.' So he told them not to do that."
Hadith 2832
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ نِيَارٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّا لَا نَسْتَعِينُ بِمُشْرِكٍ " ، قَالَ عَلِيٌّ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ أَوْ زَيْدٍ .
´It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` ‘We do not seek the help of the polytheist.”
