Hadith 1993
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ سَلَّامِ بْنِ أَبِي مُطِيعٍ الدِّمَشْقِيِّ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ رَضِيعِ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَا مِنْ مَيِّتٍ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَبْلُغُونَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا مِائَةً يَشْفَعُونَ إِلَّا شُفِّعُوا فِيهِ " , قَالَ سَلَّامٌ : فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ شُعَيْبَ بْنَ الْحَبْحَابِ , فَقَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي بِهِ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Prophet said:` "There is no deceased person for whom a group of Muslims whose number reaches one hundred, offers the funeral prayer, interceding for him; but their intercession for him will be accepted." (One of the narrators) Sallam said: "I narrated it to Shu'aib bin Al-Habhab and he said: 'Anas bin Malik narrated it to me from the Prophet.'"
Hadith 1994
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ زُرَارَةَ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ رَضِيعٍ لِعَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا يَمُوتُ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَيُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَيَبْلُغُوا أَنْ يَكُونُوا مِائَةً فَيَشْفَعُوا إِلَّا شُفِّعُوا فِيهِ " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Prophet said:` "No Muslim dies and a group of people whose number reaches one hundred offers the funeral prayer for him, interceding fro him, but their intercession for him will be accepted."
Hadith 3395
أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْسِمُ بَيْنَ نِسَائِهِ ، ثُمَّ يَعْدِلُ ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ هَذَا فِعْلِي فِيمَا أَمْلِكُ , فَلَا تَلُمْنِي فِيمَا تَمْلِكُ وَلَا أَمْلِكُ " . أَرْسَلَهُ حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ .
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) distributed among his wives, he would do so equally, then he would say: O Allah! This action of mine is within my control, so do not blame me regarding that matter which is under Your control and I have no control over it. Hammad bin Zaid narrated this hadith as mursal.
