Hadith 2418
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ نُفَيْعٍ أَبِي دَاوُدَ ، عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ أَنْظَرَ مُعْسِرًا كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ يَوْمٍ صَدَقَةٌ وَمَنْ أَنْظَرَهُ بَعْدَ حِلِّهِ كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُهُ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ صَدَقَةٌ " .
´It was narrated from Buraidah Al-Aslami that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever gives respite to one in difficulty, he will have (the reward of) an act of charity for each day. Whoever gives him respite after payment becomes due, will have (the reward of) an act of charity equal to (the amount of the loan) for each day.”
Hadith 2519
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ كُوتِبَ عَلَى مِائَةِ أُوقِيَّةٍ فَأَدَّاهَا إِلَّا عَشْرَ أُوقِيَّاتٍ فَهُوَ رَقِيقٌ " .
´It was narrated from `Amr bin Shu'aib , from his father, from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Any slave who has made a contract to buy his freedom for one hundread Uqiyyah and pays it all except ten Uqiyyah; he is still a slave.” (One Uqiyyah is equal to 40 Dirham.)
Hadith 2543
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " عُرِضْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ وَأَنَا ابْنُ أَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً ، فَلَمْ يُجِزْنِي ، وَعُرِضْتُ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ وَأَنَا ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً فَأَجَازَنِي " ، قَالَ نَافِعٌ : فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ فِي خِلَافَتِهِ ، فَقَالَ : هَذَا فَصْلُ مَا بَيْنَ الصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ .
´It was narrated that Ibn`Umar said:` “I was presented to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on the day of Uhud, when I was fourteen years old, but he did not permit me (to fight). I was presented to him on the Day of Khandaq when I was fifteen years old, and he permitted me (to fight).' ”
Hadith 2548
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ رُكَانَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ مَسْعُودِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهَا ، قَالَ : لَمَّا سَرَقَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ تِلْكَ الْقَطِيفَةَ مِنْ بَيْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْظَمْنَا ذَلِكَ وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَةً مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ فَجِئْنَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نُكَلِّمُهُ وَقُلْنَا نَحْنُ نَفْدِيهَا بِأَرْبَعِينَ أُوقِيَّةً ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تُطَهَّرَ خَيْرٌ لَهَا " ، فَلَمَّا سَمِعْنَا لِينَ قَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَتَيْنَا أُسَامَةَ فَقُلْنَا كَلِّمْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَلَمَّا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَلِكَ قَامَ خَطِيبًا ، فَقَالَ : " مَا إِكْثَارُكُمْ عَلَيَّ فِي حَدٍّ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، وَقَعَ عَلَى أَمَةٍ مِنْ إِمَاءِ اللَّهِ ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوْ كَانَتْ فَاطِمَةُ ابْنَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ نَزَلَتْ بِالَّذِي نَزَلَتْ بِهِ ، لَقَطَعَ مُحَمَّدٌ يَدَهَا " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah bin Mas'ud bin Aswad, that her father said:` “When the woman stole the Qatifah from the house of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), we regarded that as a serious matter. She was a woman from Quraish. So we came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and spoke to him, and said: 'We will ransom her for forty Uqiyyah.' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Purification is better for her.” When we heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) speak so kindly, we went to Usamah and said: 'Speak to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) .' When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw that, he stood up to speak and said: 'How much do you intercede with me concerning one of the legal punishments of Allah (SWT) that has befallen one of the female slaves of Allah (SWT)! By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, if Fatimah the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) were to do what she has done, Muhammad would cut off her hand.”
Hadith 2556
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " رَجَمَ يَهُودِيَّيْنِ أَنَا فِيمَنْ رَجَمَهُمَا ، فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ وَإِنَّهُ يَسْتُرُهَا مِنَ الْحِجَارَةِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn`Umar:` The Prophet (ﷺ) stoned two Jews, and I was among those who stoned them. I saw (the man) trying to shield (the woman) from the stones.”
Hadith 2574
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ بَيْنَ أَبْيَاتِنَا رَجُلٌ مُخْدَجٌ ضَعِيفٌ ، فَلَمْ يُرَعْ إِلَّا وَهُوَ عَلَى أَمَةٍ مِنْ إِمَاءِ الدَّارِ يَخْبُثُ بِهَا ، فَرَفَعَ شَأْنَهُ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : " اجْلِدُوهُ ضَرْبَ مِائَةِ سَوْطٍ " ، قَالُوا : يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ، هُوَ أَضْعَفُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ لَوْ ضَرَبْنَاهُ مِائَةَ سَوْطٍ مَاتَ ، قَالَ : " فَخُذُوا لَهُ عِثْكَالًا فِيهِ مِائَةُ شِمْرَاخٍ فَاضْرِبُوهُ ضَرْبَةً وَاحِدَةً " .
´It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Sa'd bin `Ubadah said:` “There was a man living among our dwellings who had a physical defect, and to our astonishment he was seen with one of the slave women of the dwellings, committing illegal sex with her. Sa'd bin 'Ubadah referred his case to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), who said: 'Give him one hundred lashes.' They said: 'O Prophet (ﷺ) of Allah (ﷺ), he is too weak to bear that. If we give him one hundred lashes he will die.' He said: “Then take a branch with a hundred twigs and hit him once.”
Hadith 2657
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا عَضَّ رَجُلًا عَلَى ذِرَاعِهِ فَنَزَعَ يَدَهُ ، فَوَقَعَتْ ثَنِيَّتُهُ فَرُفِعَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَبْطَلَهَا وَقَالَ : " يَقْضَمُ أَحَدُكُمْ كَمَا يَقْضَمُ الْفَحْلُ " .
´It was narrated from 'Imran bin Husain that a :` man bit another man on his forearm; he pulled away his arm away and the man’s tooth fell out. The matter was referred to Prophet (ﷺ) who invalidated it and said: 'Would one of you bite (another) like a stallion?'”
Hadith 2670
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَامِعُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ ، عَنْ طَارِقٍ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ بَيَاضَ إِبْطَيْهِ " يَقُولُ : " أَلَا لَا تَجْنِي أُمٌّ عَلَى وَلَدٍ أَلَا لَا تَجْنِي أُمٌّ عَلَى وَلَدٍ " .
´It was narrated that Tariq Al-Muharibi said:` “I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) raising his hands until I saw the whiteness of his armpits, saying: 'No child should be punished because of his mother's crime, no child should be punished because of his mother's crime.”
Hadith 2695
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " مَا تَرَكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دِينَارًا وَلَا دِرْهَمًا وَلَا شَاةً وَلَا بَعِيرًا وَلَا أَوْصَى بِشَيْءٍ " .
´It was narrated that Aishah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not leave behind a Dinar nor a Dirham, nor a sheep, nor a camel, and he did not make a will concerning anything.”
Hadith 2699
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا حَقُّ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَبِيتَ لَيْلَتَيْنِ وَلَهُ شَيْءٌ يُوصِي فِيهِ إِلَّا وَوَصِيَّتُهُ مَكْتُوبَةٌ عِنْدَهُ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The Muslim man has no right to spend two nights, if he has something for which a will should be made, without having a written will with him.”
Hadith 2847
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " ذَهَبَتْ فَرَسٌ لَهُ فَأَخَذَهَا الْعَدُوُّ فَظَهَرَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ ، فَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ فِي زَمَنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . قَالَ : وَأَبَقَ عَبْدٌ لَهُ فَلَحِقَ بِالرُّومِ فَظَهَرَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ " ، فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said that a horse of his went out and the enemy captured it. Then the Muslims defeated them and it was returned to him. (That was) during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He said:` “And a slave of his absconded and joined up with the Romans, then the Muslims defeated them, and Khalid bin Walid returned him to me, after the death of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).”
Hadith 2877
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " ضَمَّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْخَيْلَ ، فَكَانَ يُرْسِلُ الَّتِي ضُمِّرَتْ مِنْ الْحَفْيَاءِ إِلَى ثَنِيَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ ، وَالَّتِي لَمْ تُضَمَّرْ مِنْ ثَنِيَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) made a horse lean, and he would send the horse that he had made lean from Hafya’ to Thaniyyatul-Wada’, and (he would send) the horse that he had not made lean from Thaniyyatul-Wada’ to the mosque of Banu Zuraiq.”
Hadith 2918
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : تَلَقَّفْتُ التَّلْبِيَةَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : " لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ ، لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ ، لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ " ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَزِيدُ فِيهَا ، لَبَّيْكَ لَبَّيْكَ لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ ، وَالْخَيْرُ فِي يَدَيْكَ ، لَبَّيْكَ وَالرَّغْبَاءُ إِلَيْكَ ، وَالْعَمَلُ " .
´It was narrated from Nafi’, that Ibn ‘Umar said:` “I learned the Talbiyah from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who said: Labbaika Allahumma labbaik, labbaika la sharika laka labbaik. Innal-hamda wan- ni’mata laka, wal-mulk. La sharika laka (Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty, You have no partner).” He said: “And Ibn ‘Umar used to add: Labbaika labbaika labbaika wa sa’daika wal-khairu fi yadaika, labbaika war-raghba’u ilaika wal-‘amal (Here I am, here I am, here I am, and at Your service; all good is in Your Hands, here I am, seeking Your pleasure and striving for Your sake).”
Hadith 2936
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ ، قَالَ : لَا أَدْرِي أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، أَوْ سُعْدَى بِنْتِ عَوْفٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَى ضُبَاعَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ ، فَقَالَ : " مَا يَمْنَعُكِ يَا عَمَّتَاهُ مِنَ الْحَجِّ ؟ " ، فَقَالَتْ : أَنَا امْرَأَةٌ سَقِيمَةٌ ، وَأَنَا أَخَافُ الْحَبْسَ ، قَالَ : " فَأَحْرِمِي ، وَاشْتَرِطِي أَنَّ مَحِلَّكِ حَيْثُ حُبِسْتِ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Bakr bin ‘Abdullah bin Zubair from his grandmother – he (the narrator) said:` “I do not know if it was Asma’ bint Abu Bakr or Su’da bint ‘Awf’ – that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon Duba’ah bint ‘Abdul-Muttalib and said: “What is keeping you, O my aunt, from performing Hajj?” She said: “I am a sick woman, and I am afraid of being prevented (from completing Hajj).” He said: ‘Enter Ihram and stipulate the condition that you will exit Ihram from the point where you are prevented.’”
Hadith 2997
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " لَمْ يَعْتَمِرْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عُمْرَةً ، إِلَّا فِي ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not perform any ‘Umrah except in Dhul-Qa’dah.”
Hadith 3038
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " حَجَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعَنَا النِّسَاءُ وَالصِّبْيَانُ ، فَلَبَّيْنَا عَنِ الصِّبْيَانِ وَرَمَيْنَا عَنْهُمْ " .
´It was narrated that Jabir said:` “We performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and there were women and children with us. We recited Talbiyah on behalf of the children and stoned the Pillars on their behalf.”
Hadith 3044
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْحَوَارِيِّ الدمشقي ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " رَحِمَ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ " ، قَالُوا : وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ ، يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ ، قَالَ : " رَحِمَ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ " ، قَالُوا : وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ ، يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ ، قَالَ : " رَحِمَ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ " ، قَالُوا : وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ ، يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ ، قَالَ : " وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “May Allah have mercy on those who shave (their heads).” They said: “And those who cut (their hair), O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “May Allah have mercy on those who shave (their heads).” They said: “And those who cut (their hair), O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “May Allah have mercy on those who shave (their heads).” They said: “And those who cut (their hair), O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “And those who cut (their hair).”
Hadith 3056
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْخَيْفِ مِنْ مِنًى ، فَقَالَ : " نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَبَلَّغَهَا ، فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ غَيْرُ فَقِيهٍ ، وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ ، ثَلَاثٌ لَا يُغِلُّ عَلَيْهِنَّ قَلْبُ مُؤْمِنٍ : إِخْلَاصُ الْعَمَلِ لِلَّهِ ، وَالنَّصِيحَةُ لِوُلَاةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ، وَلُزُومُ جَمَاعَتِهِمْ ، فَإِنَّ دَعْوَتَهُمْ تُحِيطُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ " .
´It was narrated from Muhammad bin Jubair bin Mut’im that his father said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up in Khaif in Mina, and said: ‘May Allah make his face shine, the man who hears my words and conveys them. It may be that the bearer of knowledge does not understand it, and it may be that he takes it to one who will understand it more than he does. There are three things in which the heart of the believer does not betray: sincerity of action for the sake of Allah, offering sincere advice to the rulers of the Muslims, and adhering to the Jama’ah (main body of the Muslims). Their supplication is answered (i.e. encompassing every good, and all of the people).”
Hadith 3065
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " اسْتَأْذَنَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنْ يَبِيتَ بِمَكَّةَ أَيَّامَ مِنًى مِنْ أَجْلِ سِقَايَتِهِ ، فَأَذِنَ لَهُ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said:` “Abbas bin ‘Abdul-Muttalib asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for permission to stay overnight in Makkah on the nights of Mina for the purpose of supplying water to the pilgrims, and he gave him permission.
Hadith 3088
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خَمْسٌ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَى مَنْ قَتَلَهُنَّ ، أَوْ قَالَ فِي قَتْلِهِنَّ وَهُوَ حَرَامٌ : الْعَقْرَبُ ، وَالْغُرَابُ ، وَالْحُدَأَةُ ، وَالْفَأْرَةُ ، وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “There are five animals, for which there is no sin on a person if he kills them” – or he said: “if he kills them when in Ihram – the scorpion, the crow, the kite, the mouse and the vicious dog.”
Hadith 3111
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الْإِيمَانَ لَيَأْرِزُ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ ، كَمَا تَأْرِزُ الْحَيَّةُ إِلَى جُحْرِهَا " .
´it was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Faith will retreat to Al-Madinah as a snake retreats to its hole.”
Hadith 3164
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ مَعَ الْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَةً فَأَهْرِيقُوا عَنْهُ دَمًا ، وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الْأَذَى " .
´It was narrated from Salman bin ‘Amir that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say:` “For a boy there should be an ‘Aqiqah, so shed blood for him and remove the harm from him.”
Hadith 3257
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " الْكَافِرُ يَأْكُلُ فِي سَبْعَةِ أَمْعَاءٍ ، وَالْمُؤْمِنُ يَأْكُلُ فِي مِعًى وَاحِدٍ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “The disbeliever eats with seven intestines and the believer eats with one intestine.”
Hadith 3289
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامِهِ , فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ فَلْيَأْكُلْ مَعَهُ ، فَإِنْ أَبِي فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ مِنْهُ " .
´Isma’il bin Abu Khalid narrated from his father:` “I heard Abu Hurairah say: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When the servant of anyone of you brings him his food, let him make him sit by his side and eat with him, and if he refuses then let him give him some.”
Hadith 3373
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ , عَنْ نَافِعٍ , عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا , لَمْ يَشْرَبْهَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَتُوبَ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever drinks wine in this world, he will not drink it in the Hereafter, unless he repents.”
Hadith 3471
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ , فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ " .
´It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Fever is from the heat of the Hell-fire, so cool it down with water.”
Hadith 3472
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ , عَنْ نَافِعٍ , عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " إِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ , فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Intense fever is from the heat of Hell-fire, so cool it down with water.”
Hadith 3545
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , عَنْ هِشَامٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : سَحَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَهُودِيٌّ مِنْ يَهُودِ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ لَبِيدُ بْنُ الْأَعْصَمِ , حَتَّى كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ يَفْعَلُ الشَّيْءَ وَلَا يَفْعَلُهُ , قَالَتْ : حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ أَوْ كَانَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ دَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , ثُمَّ دَعَا , ثُمَّ دَعَا , ثُمَّ قَالَ : " يَا عَائِشَةُ ، أَشَعَرْتِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَفْتَانِي فِيمَا اسْتَفْتَيْتُهُ فِيهِ , جَاءَنِي رَجُلَانِ ، فَجَلَسَ أَحَدُهُمَا عِنْدَ رَأْسِي , وَالْآخَرُ عِنْدَ رِجْلِي , فَقَالَ الَّذِي عِنْدَ رَأْسِي لِلَّذِي عِنْدَ رِجْلِي , أَوِ الَّذِي عِنْدَ رِجْلِي لِلَّذِي عِنْدَ رَأْسِي : مَا وَجَعُ الرَّجُلِ ؟ قَالَ : مَطْبُوبٌ , قَالَ : مَنْ طَبَّهُ ؟ قَالَ : لَبِيدُ بْنُ الْأَعْصَمِ , قَالَ : فِي أَيِّ شَيْءٍ , قَالَ : فِي مُشْطٍ , وَمُشَاطَةٍ , وَجُفِّ طَلْعَةِ ذَكَرٍ , قَالَ : وَأَيْنَ هُوَ ؟ قَالَ : فِي بِئْرِ ذِي أَرْوَانَ " , قَالَتْ : فَأَتَاهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أُنَاسٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ , ثُمَّ جَاءَ , فَقَالَ : " وَاللَّهِ يَا عَائِشَةُ لَكَأَنَّ مَاءَهَا نُقَاعَةُ الْحِنَّاءِ , وَلَكَأَنَّ نَخْلَهَا رُءُوسُ الشَّيَاطِينِ " , قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , أَفَلَا أَحْرَقْتَهُ , قَالَ : " لَا , أَمَّا أَنَا فَقَدْ عَافَانِي اللَّهُ , وَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أُثِيرَ عَلَى النَّاسِ مِنْهُ شَرًّا " , فَأَمَرَ بِهَا فَدُفِنَتْ .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “A Jew from among the Jews of Bani Zuraiq, whose name was Labid bin A’sam, cast a spell on the Prophet (ﷺ), and the Prophet (ﷺ) began to imagine that he had done something when he had not. One day, or one night, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) supplicated, and then supplicated again. Then he said: ‘O ‘Aishah, do you know that Allah has instructed me concerning the matter I asked Him about? Two men came to me, and one of them sat at my head and the other at my feet. The one at my head said to the one at my feet, or the one at my feet said to the one at my head "what is ailing this man ?" He said: “He has been affected by a spell.” He said: “Who cast the spell on him?” He said: “Labid bin A’sam.” He said: “With what?” He said: “With a comb and the hairs stuck to it, and the spathe of a male date palm.” He said: “Where is that?” He said: “In the well of Dhu Arwan.” She said: “So the Prophet (ﷺ) went to it, with a group of his Companions, then he came and said: ‘By Allah. O ‘Aishah. It was as if its water was infused with henna and its date palms were like the heads of devils.’” She said: “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, why don’t you burn them?’ He said: ‘As for me, Allah has healed me, and I do not like to let evil spread among the people.’ Then he issued orders that the well be filled up with earth.”
Hadith 3560
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ , عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ , عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ , عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ : عَنِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ , وَعَنِ الِاحْتِبَاءِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ يُفْضِي بِفَرْجِهِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade two kinds of dress:` Ishtimalus-Samma’ and Ihtiba’, exposing one’s private part to the sky.
Hadith 3561
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ , عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ , عَنْ عَمْرَةَ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " عَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ : اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ , وَالِاحْتِبَاءِ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ ، وَأَنْتَ مُفْضٍ فَرْجَكَ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade two kinds of dress: Ishtimalus-Samma’ and Ihtiba’ in one garment, when you are exposing your private part to the sky.”
Hadith 3569
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ . ح حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ جَمِيعًا , عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ , عَنْ نَافِعٍ , عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " إِنَّ الَّذِي يَجُرُّ ثَوْبَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ , لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever lets his garment drag out of pride, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.”
Hadith 3642
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ , عَنْ نَافِعٍ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ مَوْلَى عَلِيٍّ , عَنْ عَلِيٍّ , قَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " عَنِ التَّخَتُّمِ بِالذَّهَبِ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Ali said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade wearing gold rings.”
Hadith 3644
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق , عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ , قَالَتْ : أَهْدَى النَّجَاشِيُّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَلْقَةً , فِيهَا خَاتَمُ ذَهَبٍ فِيهِ فَصٌّ حَبَشِيٌّ , فَأَخَذَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعُودٍ , وَإِنَّهُ لَمُعْرِضٌ عَنْهُ أَوْ بِبَعْضِ أَصَابِعِهِ , ثُمَّ دَعَا ابْنَةِ ابْنَتِهِ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ , فَقَالَ : " تَحَلِّي بِهَذَا يَا بُنَيَّةُ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah the Mother of the Believers said:` “Najashi sent some jewelry as a gift to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). Among that was a gold ring with an Ethiopian gemstone. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) picked it up with a stick – as if he found it distasteful – or with one of his fingers, then he called for his daughter, Umamah bint Abul-‘As, and said: ‘Wear this, O my daughter.’”
Hadith 3647
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَمِينِهِ " .
It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin Ja’far that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to wear a ring on his right hand.
Hadith 3682
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ , عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " كَانَ عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ غُصْنُ شَجَرَةٍ يُؤْذِي النَّاسَ , فَأَمَاطَهَا رَجُلٌ , فَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet(ﷺ) said:` "There was a branch of a tree that annoyed the people. A man removed it, so he was admitted to Paradise."
Hadith 3686
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق , عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ , عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ جُعْشُمٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَمِّهِ سُرَاقَةَ بْنِ جُعْشُمٍ , قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ضَالَّةِ الْإِبِلِ تَغْشَى حِيَاضِي قَدْ لُطْتُهَا لِإِبِلِي , فَهَلْ لِي مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ سَقَيْتُهَا ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ , فِي كُلِّ ذَاتِ كَبِدٍ حَرَّى أَجْرٌ " .
´It was narrated that Suraqah bin Ju'shum said:` "I asked the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) about a lost camel that comes to my cisterns that I have prepared for my own camels - will I be rewarded if I give it some water to drink? He said: Yes, in every living being there is reward.'"
Hadith 3692
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ , وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ , عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قَالَ , قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ , لَا تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى تُؤْمِنُوا , وَلَا تُؤْمِنُوا حَتَّى تَحَابُّوا , أَوَلَا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ إِذَا فَعَلْتُمُوهُ تَحَابَبْتُمْ , أَفْشُوا السَّلَامَ بَيْنَكُمْ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah(RA) that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said:` "By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, you will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I not tell you of something which, if you do it, you will love one another? Spread (the greeting of) peace among yourselves.'"
Hadith 3695
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ , حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّ رَجُلًا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ , وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسٌ فِي نَاحِيَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ , فَصَلّ ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَ : " وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:` "a man entered the masjid, and the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) was sitting in a corner of the mosque. He prayed, then he came and greeted him with Salam(peace), and he said: 'Wa 'alaikassalm."
Hadith 3699
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق , عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ , عَنْ مَرْثَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْيَزَنِيِّ , عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُهَنِيِّ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنِّي رَاكِبٌ غَدًا إِلَى الْيَهُودِ , فَلَا تَبْدَءُوهُمْ بِالسَّلَامِ , فَإِذَا سَلَّمُوا عَلَيْكُمْ , فَقُولُوا وَعَلَيْكُمْ " .
´It was narrated from Abu 'Abdur-Rahman Al Juhani that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said:` "I am riding to the Jews tomorrow. Do not initiate the greeting with them, and if they greet you, then say: Wa 'alaikum (and also upon you)".
Hadith 3703
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ , وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , عَنْ الْأَجْلَحِ , عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق , عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ , قَالَ : قَال رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ فَيَتَصَافَحَانِ , إِلَّا غُفِرَ لَهُمَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَتَفَرَّقَا " .
´It was narrated from Bara bin Azib that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said:` "There are no two Muslims who meet and shake hands, but they will be forgiven before they part."
