Hadith 2819
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ مَوْلَى أَسْمَاءَ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، أَنَّهَا أَخْرَجَتْ جُبَّةً مُزَرَّرَةً بِالدِّيبَاجِ فَقَالَتْ : " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَلْبَسُ هَذِهِ إِذَا لَقِيَ الْعَدُوَّ " .
´It was narrated from Abu ‘Umar, the freed slave of Asma’, from Asma’ bint Abi Bakr, that she brought out a cloak edged with brocade and said:` “The Prophet (ﷺ) used to wear this when he met the enemy.”
Hadith 3594
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ , عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ بْنِ زِيَادٍ , عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ مَوْلَى أَسْمَاءَ , قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ بْنَ عُمَرَ اشْتَرَى عِمَامَةً لَهَا عَلَمٌ , فَدَعَا بِالْجَلَمَيْنِ فَقَصَّهُ , فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَسْمَاءَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهَا , فَقَالَتْ : " بُؤْسًا لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ , يَا جَارِيَةُ , هَاتِي جُبَّةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَجَاءَتْ بِجُبَّةٍ مَكْفُوفَةِ الْكُمَّيْنِ , وَالْجَيْبِ , وَالْفَرْجَيْنِ بِالدِّيبَاجِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu ‘Umar, the freed slave of Asma’, said:` “I saw Ibn ‘Umar buying a turban that had some markings, then he called for a pair of scissors and cut that off. I entered upon Asma’ and mentioned that to her, and she said: ‘May ‘Abdullah perish, O girl! Give me the garment of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).’ A garment was brought that was hemmed with brocade on the sleeves, necklines and openings (at the front and back).”
