Hadith 558
´It was narrated from 'Uqbah bin 'Amir Al-Juhani that:` He came to 'Umar bin Khattab from Egypt. 'Umar said: "How long has it been since you have taken off your leather socks?" He said: "From one Friday to the next." He said: "You have acted in accordance with the Sunnah."
Hadith 750
´It was narrated from Wathilah bin Asqa' that:` The Prophet said: "Keep your infants, your insane and your evil ones away from your mosques. Avoid engaging in transactions and disputes, raising your voices, carrying out your prescribed punishments and unsheathing your swords therein. Make places for purification at their gates, and perfume them with incense on Fridays." (Maudu')
Hadith 1383
حَدَّثَنَا
أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ السُّلَمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا
خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَوَالِي ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ
مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ
جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَلِّمُنَا الِاسْتِخَارَةَ ، كَمَا يُعَلِّمُنَا السُّورَةَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ ، يَقُولُ : " إِذَا هَمَّ أَحَدُكُمْ بِالْأَمْرِ ، فَلْيَرْكَعْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ غَيْرِ الْفَرِيضَةِ ، ثُمَّ لِيَقُلْ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ وَتَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ فَيُسَمِّيهِ مَا كَانَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ خَيْرًا لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي أَوْ خَيْرًا لِي فِي عَاجِلِ أَمْرِي وَآجِلِهِ فَاقْدُرْهُ لِي وَيَسِّرْهُ لِي وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ ، وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ يَقُولُ مِثْلَ مَا قَالَ فِي الْمَرَّةِ الْأُولَى وَإِنْ كَانَ شَرًّا لِي فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّي وَاصْرِفْنِي عَنْهُ ، وَاقْدُرْ لِي الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُمَا كَانَ ، ثُمَّ رَضِّنِي بِهِ " .
´It was narrated that Jabir bin ‘Abdullah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to teach us Istikharah, just as he used to teach us a Surah of the Qur’an. He said: ‘If anyone of you is deliberating about a decision he has to make, then let him pray two Rak’ah of non- obligatory prayer, then say: Allahumma inni astakhiruka bi ‘ilmika wa astaqdiruka bi qudratika wa as’aluka min fadlikal-‘azim, fa innaka taqdiru wa la aqdir, wa ta’lamu wa la a’lam, wa Anta ‘allamul-ghuyub. Allahumma in kunta ta’lamu hadhal-amra (then the matter should be mentioned by name) ma kan min shay’in khairan li fi dini wa ma’ashi wa ‘aqibati amri, aw khairanli fi ‘ajili amri wa ajilihi, faqdurhu li wa yassirhu li wa barik li fihi. Wa in kunta ta’lamu [O Allah, I seek Your guidance (in making a choice) by virtue of Your knowledge, and I seek ability by virtue of Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty. You have power, I have none. And You know, I know not. You are the Knower of hidden things. O Allah, if in Your knowledge, this matter (then it should be mentioned by name) is good for me in my religion, my livelihood and my affairs, or both in this world and in the Hereafter then ordain it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if in Your knowledge]. Then saying similar to what he said the first time, except: Wa in kana sharran li fasrifhu ‘anni wasrifni ‘anhu waqdur li al-khair haithuma kana thumma raddini bihi (If it is bad for me then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and ordain for me the good wherever it may be and make me pleased with it).’”
Hadith 1394
It was narrated from Abu Bakrah that when the Prophet (ﷺ) heard news that made him happy, or for which one should be happy, he would fall down prostrate in gratitude to Allah, the Blessed and Exalted.
Hadith 1525
´It was narrated from Wathilah bin Asqa’ that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` ‘Offer prayer for everyone who dies, and strive in Jihad under every chief.”
Hadith 1583
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade following a funeral that was accompanied by a wailing woman.”
Hadith 1615
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever dies from a sickness dies as a martyr. He is protected from the torment of the grave and he is granted provision from Paradise morning and evening.”
Hadith 1680
´It was narrated that Thawban said:` “I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: ‘The cupper and the one for whom cupping is done both break their fast.’”
Hadith 1681
´It was narrated from Abu Qilabah that when Shaddad bin Aws was walking with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in Al-Baqi’, he passed by a man who was being cupped, after eighteen days of the month (of Ramadan) had passed. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The cupper and the one for whom cupping is done both break their fast.”
Hadith 1751
´It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever is invited to eat when he is fasting, let him accept the invitation; and if he wants to let him eat, and if he wants let him not eat.”
Hadith 2061
´It was narrated from Umm Salamah that:` the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) swore to keep away from some of his wives for a month. On the twenty-ninth day, in the evening or the morning, it was said: "O Messenger of Allah, only twenty-nine days have passed." He said: "The month is twenty-nine days."
Hadith 2123
حَدَّثَنَا

عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ
سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ
الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ النَّذْرَ لَا يَأْتِي ابْنَ آدَمَ بِشَيْءٍ إِلَّا مَا قُدِّرَ لَهُ وَلَكِنْ يَغْلِبُهُ الْقَدَرُ مَا قُدِّرَ لَهُ ، فَيُسْتَخْرَجُ بِهِ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ فَيُيَسَّرُ عَلَيْهِ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ يُيَسَّرُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ قَبْلِ ذَلِكَ ، وَقَدْ قَالَ اللَّهُ : أَنْفِقْ أُنْفِقْ عَلَيْكَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` "Vows do not bring the son of Adam anything unless it has been decreed for him. But he is dominated by Divine preordainment, and will get what is decreed for him. And (vows) are a means of making the miser give something, so what he desires becomes obtainable for him, which was not obtainable before his vow. And Allah says: 'Spend, I will spend on you.'
Hadith 2516
´It was narrated that Ibn`Abbas said:` “Mention was made of the mother of Ibrahim in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and he said: 'Her son set her free.'”
Hadith 4084
حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ,
وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , عَنْ
سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ , عَنْ
خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ , عَنْ
أَبِي قِلَابَةَ , عَنْ
أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيِّ , عَنْ
ثَوْبَانَ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَقْتَتِلُ عِنْدَ كَنْزِكُمْ ثَلَاثَةٌ , كُلُّهُمُ ابْنُ خَلِيفَةٍ , ثُمَّ لَا يَصِيرُ إِلَى وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمْ , ثُمَّ تَطْلُعُ الرَّايَاتُ السُّودُ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَشْرِقِ , فَيَقْتُلُونَكُمْ قَتْلًا لَمْ يُقْتَلْهُ قَوْمٌ , ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ شَيْئًا لَا أَحْفَظُهُ , فَقَالَ : فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَبَايِعُوهُ , وَلَوْ حَبْوًا عَلَى الثَّلْجِ , فَإِنَّهُ خَلِيفَةُ اللَّهِ الْمَهْدِيُّ " .
´It was narrated from Thawban that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` "Three will fight one another for your treasure, each one of them the son of a caliph, but none of them will gain it. Then the black banners will come from the east, and they will kill you in an unprecedented manner." Then he mentioned something that I do not remember, then he said: "When you see them, then pledge your allegiance to them even if you have to crawl over the snow, for that is the caliph of Allah, Mahdi."
