Hadith 2691
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْوَزِيرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ اللَّيْثِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كُنْتُ أُطَيِّبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَ إِحْرَامِهِ بِأَطْيَبِ مَا أَجِدُ " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "I used to put perfume on the Messenger of Allah when he entered Ihram, using the best perfume I could find.
Hadith 3100
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْوَزِيرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُفَيْرٍ ، عَنْ اللَّيْثِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ مُسَافِرٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْلَا أَنَّ رِجَالًا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَا تَطِيبُ أَنْفُسُهُمْ أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفُوا عَنِّي ، وَلَا أَجِدُ مَا أَحْمِلُهُمْ عَلَيْهِ مَا تَخَلَّفْتُ عَنْ سَرِيَّةٍ تَغْزُو فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوَدِدْتُ أَفنِّي ، أُقْتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ أُحْيَا ، ثُمَّ أُقْتَلُ ، ثُمَّ أُحْيَا ، ثُمَّ أُقْتَلُ ، ثُمَّ أُحْيَا ، ثُمَّ أُقْتَلُ " .
´Abu Hurairah said:` "I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'By the One in Whose hand is my soul, were it not for the fact that there are some believing men who would not feel happy to stay behind (when I go out on a campaign) and I do not have the means to provide them with mounts (so that they cn join me), I would not have stayed behind from any campaign or battle in the cause of Allah. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, I wish that I could be killed in the cause of Allah, then brought back to life, then be killed, then be brought back to life, then be killed then be brought back to life, then be killed.'"
Hadith 3323
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَبُو الْوَزِيرِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، وَرَبِيعَةُ , عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " أَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ امْرَأَةَ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ أَنْ تُرْضِعَ سَالِمًا مَوْلَى أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ حَتَّى تَذْهَبَ غَيْرَةُ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ ، فَأَرْضَعَتْهُ وَهُوَ رَجُلٌ ، قَالَ رَبِيعَةُ : فَكَانَتْ رُخْصَةً لِسَالِمٍ " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "The Messenger of Allah commanded the wife of Abu Hudhaifah to breast-feed Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hudhaifah, so that the protective jealousy of Abu Hudhaifah would be dispelled. She breast-fed him when he was a man." (One of the narrators) Rabi'ah said: "That was a concession granted to Salim."
Hadith 3376
أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْوَزِيرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ عُفَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : " رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ ، كَأَنَّهُ يَعْنِي عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ أَثَرَ صُفْرَةٍ ، فَقَالَ : " مَهْيَمْ ؟ " قَالَ : تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَةً مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ ، فَقَالَ : " أَوْلِمْ ، وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ " .
´It was narrated that Anas said:` "The Messenger of Allah saw a trace of yellow perfume on me" -as if he meant 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf- "and said: 'What's this for?' He said: 'I have married a woman from among the Ansar.' He said: 'Give a Walimah (wedding feast) even if it is with one sheep.'"
Hadith 3390
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْوَزِيرِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ عُفَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ : " آخَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ قُرَيْشٍ وَالْأَنْصَارِ ، فَآخَى بَيْنَ سَعْدِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ , وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ سَعْدٌ : إِنَّ لِي مَالًا ، فَهُوَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ شَطْرَانِ ، وَلِي امْرَأَتَانِ ، فَانْظُرْ أَيُّهُمَا أَحَبُّ إِلَيْكَ فَأَنَا أُطَلِّقُهَا ، فَإِذَا حَلَّتْ فَتَزَوَّجْهَا ، قَالَ : بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ فِي أَهْلِكَ وَمَالِكَ ، دُلُّونِي أَيْ عَلَى السُّوقِ ، فَلَمْ يَرْجِعْ حَتَّى رَجَعَ بِسَمْنٍ ، وَأَقِطٍ قَدْ أَفْضَلَهُ ، قَالَ : وَرَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ أَثَرَ صُفْرَةٍ ، فَقَالَ : " مَهْيَمْ ؟ " فَقُلْتُ : تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَةً مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ ، فَقَالَ : " أَوْلِمْ ، وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ " .
´It was narrated from Humaid At-Tawil that he heard Anas say:` "The Messenger of Allah established the bond of brotherhood between (some of) the Quraish and (some of) the Ansar, and he established the bond of brotherhood between Sa'd bin Ar-Rabi' and 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf. Sa'd said to him: 'I have wealth, which I will share equally between you and me. And I have two wives, so look and see which one you like better, and I will divorce her, and when her 'Iddah is over you can marry her.' He said: 'May Allah bless your family and your wealth for you. Show me -i.e., where the market is.' And he did not come back until he brought some ghee, and cottage cheese that he had left over. He said: 'The Messenger of Allah saw traces of yellow perfume on me and he said: 'What is this for?' I said: 'I have married a woman from among the Ansar.' He said: 'Give a Walimah (wedding feast) even if it is with one sheep.'"
Hadith 3649
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْوَزِيرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ , عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَا حَقُّ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ لَهُ شَيْءٌ يُوصَى فِيهِ فَيَبِيتُ ثَلَاثَ لَيَالٍ إِلَّا وَوَصِيَّتُهُ عِنْدَهُ مَكْتُوبَةٌ " .
´It was narrated from Salim bin 'Abdullah, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah said:` "It is not right for a Muslim who has anything concerning which a will should be made, to abide for more than three nights without having a written will with him."
Hadith 3863
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْوَزِيرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ , وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ , عَنْ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ , قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ , عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ , عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِمَاسَةَ , عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " كَفَّارَةُ النَّذْرِ كَفَّارَةُ الْيَمِينِ " .
´It was narrated from 'Uqbah bin 'Amir that the Messenger of Allah said:` "The expiation for vows is the expiation for an oath."
