Hadith 144
حَدَّثَنَا
يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا
يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ
عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ
سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ ، أَنَّ
يَعْلَى بْنَ مُرَّةَ ، حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ خَرَجُوا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى طَعَامٍ دُعُوا لَهُ ، فَإِذَا حُسَيْنٌ يَلْعَبُ فِي السِّكَّةِ ، قَالَ : فَتَقَدَّمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَامَ الْقَوْمِ وَبَسَطَ يَدَيْهِ ، فَجَعَلَ الْغُلَامُ يَفِرُّ هَهُنَا وَهَهُنَا وَيُضَاحِكُهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، حَتَّى أَخَذَهُ فَجَعَلَ إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ تَحْتَ ذَقْنِهِ ، وَالْأُخْرَى فِي فَأْسِ رَأْسِهِ فَقَبَّلَهُ ، وَقَالَ : " حُسَيْنٌ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْ حُسَيْنٍ ، أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ مَنْ أَحَبَّ حُسَيْنًا ، حُسَيْنٌ سِبْطٌ مِنَ الْأَسْبَاطِ " .
´It was narrated from Sa'eed bin Abu Rashid that Ya'la bin Murrah told them that:` They had gone out with the Prophet to a meal to which they had been invited, and Husain was there playing in the street. The Prophet came in front of the people and stretched out his hands, and the child started to run here and there. The Prophet made him laugh until he caught him, then he put one hand under his chin and the other on his head and kissed him, and said, "Husain is part of me and I am part of him. May Allah love those who love Husain. Husain is a tribe among tribes." (Hasan)(Another chain with similar meaning)
Hadith 333
´It was narrated from Ya'la bin Murrah that:` When the Prophet went to relieve himself, he would go far away.
Hadith 1472
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The best of your garments are those which are white, so shroud your dead in them, and wear them.”
Hadith 1574
´It was narrated from ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Hassan bin Thabit that his father said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed women who visit graves.”
Hadith 1589
حَدَّثَنَا
سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا
يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ
ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ
شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ ، عَنْ
أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ ، قَالَتْ : لَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ ابْنُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بَكَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ الْمُعَزِّي إِمَّا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، وَإِمَّا عُمَرُ : أَنْتَ أَحَقُّ مَنْ عَظَّمَ اللَّهُ حَقَّهُ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تَدْمَعُ الْعَيْنُ ، وَيَحْزَنُ الْقَلْبُ ، وَلَا نَقُولُ مَا يُسْخِطُ الرَّبَّ ، لَوْلَا أَنَّهُ وَعْدٌ صَادِقٌ وَمَوْعُودٌ جَامِعٌ ، وَأَنَّ الْآخِرَ تَابِعٌ لِلْأَوَّلِ ، لَوَجَدْنَا عَلَيْكَ يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ أَفْضَلَ مِمَّا وَجَدْنَا ، وَإِنَّا بِكَ لَمَحْزُونُونَ " .
´It was narrated that Asma’ bint Yazid said:` “When Ibrahim, the son of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), died, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wept. The one who was consoling him, either Abu Bakr or ‘Umar, said to him: ‘You are indeed the best of those who glorify Allah with what is due to him.’ The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘The eye weeps and the heart grieves, but we do not say anything that angers the Lord. Were it not that death is something that inevitably comes to all, and that the latter will surely join the former, then we would have been more than we are, verily we grieve for you.’”
Hadith 2146
´It was narrated from Isma'il bin 'Ubaid bin Rifa'ah, from his father, that his grandfather Rifa'ah said:` "We went out with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and the people were trading early in the morning. He called them: 'O merchants!' and when they looked up and craned their necks, he said : 'The merchants will be raised on the Day of Resurrection as immoral people, apart from those who fear Allah and act righteously and speak the truth (i.e. those who are honest)."'
Hadith 2204
حَدَّثَنَا

عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ
قَيْلَةَ أُمِّ بَنِي أَنْمَارٍ ، قَالَتْ : أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَعْضِ عُمَرِهِ عِنْدَ الْمَرْوَةِ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ أَبِيعُ وَأَشْتَرِي ، فَإِذَا أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَبْتَاعَ الشَّيْءَ سُمْتُ بِهِ أَقَلَّ مِمَّا أُرِيدُ ، ثُمَّ زِدْتُ ، ثُمَّ زِدْتُ حَتَّى أَبْلُغَ الَّذِي أُرِيدُ ، وَإِذَا أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَبِيعَ الشَّيْءَ سُمْتُ بِهِ أَكْثَرَ مِنَ الَّذِي أُرِيدُ ، ثُمَّ وَضَعْتُ حَتَّى أَبْلُغَ الَّذِي أُرِيدُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَفْعَلِي يَا قَيْلَةُ ، إِذَا أَرَدْتِ أَنْ تَبْتَاعِي شَيْئًا ، فَاسْتَامِي بِهِ الَّذِي تُرِيدِينَ أُعْطِيتِ ، أَوْ مُنِعْتِ ، وَإِذَا أَرَدْتِ أَنْ تَبِيعِي شَيْئًا ، فَاسْتَامِي بِهِ الَّذِي تُرِيدِينَ أَعْطَيْتِ ، أَوْ مَنَعْتِ " .
´It was narrated that Qailah Umm Bani Anmar said:` "I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), during one of his 'Umrah at Marwah and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I am a woman who buys and sells. When I want to buy something, I state a price less than I want to pay, then I raise it gradually until it reaches the price I want to pay. And when I want to sell something, I state a price more than I want, then I lower it until it reaches the price I want.' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Do not do that, O Qailah. When you want to buy something, state the price you want, whether it is given or not. And when you want to sell something, state the price you want, whether it is given or not.'"
Hadith 2609
´It was narrated from Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father, or (a freed slave) who claims that his Wala is for other than his real master, the curse of Allah (SWT), the angels and all the people will be upon him.”
Hadith 2865
´It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Among those in charge of you, after I am gone, will be men who extinguish the Sunnah and follow innovation. They will delay the prayer from its proper time.” I said: “O Messenger of Allah, if I live to see them, what should I do?” He said: “You ask me, O Ibn ‘Abd, what you should do? There is no obedience to one who disobeys Allah.”
Hadith 2944
´It was narrated that Sa’eed bin Jubair said:` I heard Ibn ‘Abbas say: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “This Stone will be brought on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be given two eyes with which to see, and a tongue with which to speak, and it will bear witness for those who touched it in sincerity.”
Hadith 2953

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَنْبَأَنَا
مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ
ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ ، عَنْ
ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ حِينَ أَرَادُوا دُخُولَ مَكَّةَ فِي عُمْرَتِهِ بَعْدَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ : " إِنَّ قَوْمَكُمْ غَدًا سَيَرَوْنَكُمْ فَلَيَرَوُنَّكُمْ جُلْدًا " ، فَلَمَّا دَخَلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ اسْتَلَمُوا الرُّكْنَ ، وَرَمَلُوا وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَهُمْ ، حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغُوا الرُّكْنَ الْيَمَانِيَ ، مَشَوْا إِلَى الرُّكْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، ثُمَّ رَمَلُوا ، حَتَّى بَلَغُوا الرُّكْنَ الْيَمَانِيَ ، ثُمَّ مَشَوْا إِلَى الرُّكْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، فَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ مَشَى الْأَرْبَعَ .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “During his ‘Umrah after Hudaibiyah – when they wanted to enter Makkah – the Prophet (ﷺ) said to his Companions: ‘Your people will see you tomorrow, so let them see you looking strong.’ When they entered the mosque, they touched the corner and started to walk briskly, and the Prophet (ﷺ) was with them. When they reached the Yemenite Corner, they walked normally to the Black Corner (the corner where the Black Stone is), then they walked briskly until they reached the Yemenite Corner, then they walked normally to the Black Corner. They did that three times, then they walked normally for four circuits.”
Hadith 3082
It was narrated from Jabir that the Prophet (ﷺ) was treated with cupping when he was in the state of Ihram, because he did not feel well.
Hadith 3163
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) commanded us to sacrifice two sheep for a boy’s ‘Aqiqah and one sheep for a girl.”
Hadith 3497
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The best of your kohl is antimony, for it improves the eyesight and makes the hair (eyelashes) grow.”
Hadith 3566
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The best of your garments are the white ones, so wear them and shroud your dead in them.”
Hadith 3666
´It was narrated from Ya'la Al -Amir that he said:` "Hasan and Hussain came running to the Prophet (ﷺ) and he embraced them and said: 'Children make a man a miser and a coward.'"
Hadith 4010
حَدَّثَنَا
سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا
يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ , عَنْ
عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ , عَنْ
أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ , عَنْ
جَابِرٍ , قَالَ : لَمَّا رَجَعَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُهَاجِرَةُ الْبَحْرِ , قَالَ : " أَلَا تُحَدِّثُونِي بِأَعَاجِيبِ مَا رَأَيْتُمْ بِأَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ " , قَالَ فِتْيَةٌ مِنْهُمْ : بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , بَيْنَا نَحْنُ جُلُوسٌ مَرَّتْ بِنَا عَجُوزٌ مِنْ عَجَائِزِ رَهَابِينِهِمْ , تَحْمِلُ عَلَى رَأْسِهَا قُلَّةً مِنْ مَاءٍ , فَمَرَّتْ بِفَتًى مِنْهُمْ , فَجَعَلَ إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهَا , ثُمَّ دَفَعَهَا , فَخَرَّتْ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهَا , فَانْكَسَرَتْ قُلَّتُهَا , فَلَمَّا ارْتَفَعَتْ , الْتَفَتَتْ إِلَيْهِ , فَقَالَتْ : سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُ , يَا غُدَرُ إِذَا وَضَعَ اللَّهُ الْكُرْسِيَّ , وَجَمَعَ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ , وَتَكَلَّمَتِ الْأَيْدِي وَالْأَرْجُلُ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ , فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُ كَيْفَ أَمْرِي وَأَمْرُكَ , عِنْدَهُ غَدًا , قَالَ : يَقُولُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " صَدَقَتْ صَدَقَتْ , كَيْفَ يُقَدِّسُ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً لَا يُؤْخَذُ لِضَعِيفِهِمْ مِنْ شَدِيدِهِمْ " .
´It was narrated that Jabir said:` “When the emigrants who had crossed the sea came back to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), he said: ‘Why don’t you tell me of the strange things that you saw in the land of Abyssinia?’ Some young men among them said: ‘Yes, O Messenger of Allah. While we were sitting, one of their elderly nuns came past, carrying a vessel of water on her head. She passed by some of their youth, one of whom placed his hand between her shoulders and pushed her. She fell on her knees and her vessel broke. When she stood up, she turned to him and said: “You will come to know, O traitor, that when Allah sets up the Footstool and gathers the first and the last, and hands and feet speak of what they used to earn, you will come to know your case and my case in His presence soon.’” The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘She spoke the truth, she spoke the truth. How can Allah purify any people (of sin) when they do not support their weak from their strong?’”
Hadith 4119
´It was narrated from Asma’ bint Yazid that she heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say:` “Shall I not tell you of the best of you?” They said: “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” He said: “The best of you are those who, when they are seen, Allah the Mighty, the Majestic, is remembered.”
Hadith 4171
حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ , حَدَّثَنَا
الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ , حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ , حَدَّثَنِي
عُثْمَانُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي أَيُّوبَ , عَنْ
أَبِي أَيُّوبَ , قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , عَلِّمْنِي وَأَوْجِزْ , قَالَ : " إِذَا قُمْتَ فِي صَلَاتِكَ , فَصَلِّ صَلَاةَ مُوَدِّعٍ , وَلَا تَكَلَّمْ بِكَلَامٍ تَعْتَذِرُ مِنْهُ , وَأَجْمِعِ الْيَأْسَ عَمَّا فِي أَيْدِي النَّاسِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Ayyub said:` “A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, teach me but make it concise.’ He said: ‘When you stand to pray, pray like a man bidding farewell. Do not say anything for which you will have to apologize. And give up hope for what other people have.’”
