Hadith 102
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنِي الْجُرَيْرِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، قَالَ ، قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ : " أَيُّ أَصْحَابِهِ كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ ؟ ، قَالَتْ : أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، قُلْتُ : ثُمَّ أَيُّهُمْ قَالَتْ : عُمَرُ ، قُلْتُ : ثُمَّ أَيُّهُمْ ، قَالَتْ : أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ " .
´It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Shaqiq said:` "I said to 'Aishah: 'Which of the (Prophet's) Companions was most beloved to him?' She said: 'Abu Bakr.' I said: 'Then which of them?' She said: ''Umar.' I said: 'Then which of them?' She said: 'Abu 'Ubaidah.'"
Hadith 1150
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ " ، وَكَانَ يَقُولُ : " نِعْمَ ، السُّورَتَانِ هُمَا يُقْرَأُ بِهِمَا فِي رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ : قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ وَ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to perform two Rak’ah before Fajr, and he used to say: ‘The best two Surah to recite in the two Rak’ah of Fajr are: “Say: Allah is One” [Al-Ikhlas (112)] and “Say: O you disbelievers.” [Al-Kafirun (109)]
Hadith 1158
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، وَزَيْدُ بْنُ أَخْزَمَ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْكُوفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا فَاتَتْهُ الْأَرْبَعُ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ ، صَلَّاهَا بَعْدَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ : لَمْ يُحَدِّثْ بِهِ إِلَّا قَيْسٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “If the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) missed the four Rak’ah before the Zuhr, he would perform them after the two Rak’ah which come after the Zuhr.”
Hadith 1164
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ ، ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ إِلَى بَيْتِي فَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “The Prophet (ﷺ) used to pray the Maghrib, then he would come back to my house and pray two Rak’ah.”
Hadith 1228
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِاللَّيْلِ ، فَقَالَتْ : " كَانَ يُصَلِّي لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا قَائِمًا ، وَلَيْلًا طَوِيلًا قَاعِدًا ، فَإِذَا قَرَأَ قَائِمًا رَكَعَ قَائِمًا ، وَإِذَا قَرَأَ قَاعِدًا رَكَعَ قَاعِدًا " .
´It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Shaqiq Al-‘Uqaili said:` “I asked ‘Aishah about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) at night. She said: ‘He used to pray for a long time at night standing up, and for a long time at night sitting down. If he prayed standing, he would bow standing, and if he prayed sitting, he would bow sitting.’”
Hadith 4316
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ , حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ , حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَدْعَاءِ , أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ : " لَيَدْخُلَنَّ الْجَنَّةَ بِشَفَاعَةِ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَكْثَرُ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ " , قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , سِوَاكَ , قَالَ : " سِوَايَ " , قُلْتُ : أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : أَنَا سَمِعْتُهُ .
´It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin Abi Jad’a’ that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say:` “More than (the members of the tribe of) Banu Tamim will enter Paradise through the intercession of a man from among my nation.” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, besides you?” He said: “Besides me.”
