Hadith 603
´It was narrated that Umm Salamah said:` "I said, O Messenger of Allah! I am a woman with tight braids. Should I undo them when I take a bath to cleanse myself from the state of sexual impurity?" He said: "Rather it is sufficient for you to pour three handfuls of water over yourself, and you will be purified," or he said: "In that case you would have become purified."
Hadith 3078
‘Umm al-Mu’minin Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her)’s servant Abdullah bin Rafi’ says: I asked Hajjaj bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) about a muhrim (person in the state of ihram) who is stopped (from completing Hajj or ‘Umrah), so he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever’s bone is broken, or becomes ill, or becomes lame, then he is released (from ihram), and upon him is Hajj in the coming year.” 1. ‘Ikrimah says: I narrated this hadith to Ibn ‘Abbas and Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with them), so they said: Hajjaj has spoken the truth. ‘Abdur Razzaq says: I found this hadith in the book of Hisham Sahib Dastawai, so I took it and went to Ma’mar, and he read this hadith to me, or I read it to him.
