Hadith 1317
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ ، أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ مَعَ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ أَوْ أَضْحَى ، فَأَنْكَرَ إِبْطَاءَ الْإِمَامِ ، وَقَالَ : " إِنْ كُنَّا لَقَدْ فَرَغْنَا سَاعَتَنَا هَذِهِ ، وَذَلِكَ حِينَ التَّسْبِيحِ " .
´Yazid bin Khumair narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Busr went out with the people on the Day of Fitr or Adha, and he objected to the Imam’s delay. He said:` “We would have finished by this time.” And that was the time of Tasbih.
Hadith 1726
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ إِلَّا فِيمَا افْتُرِضَ عَلَيْكُمْ ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَّا عُودَ عِنَبٍ ، أَوْ لِحَاءَ شَجَرَةٍ فَلْيَمُصَّهُ " .
´It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin Busr that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Do not fast on Saturdays apart from days when you are obliged to fast. If anyone of you cannot find anything other than grape stalks or the bark of a tree, let him suck on it.” Another chain from 'Abdullah bin Busr, from his sister who said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said," and he mentioned similarly.
Hadith 1726M
حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ ، عَنْ أُخْتِهِ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .
‘The sister of Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with her) says that’ the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, then narrated a similar narration.
Hadith 2231
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْيَحْصُبِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ الْمَازِنِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " كِيلُوا طَعَامَكُمْ يُبَارَكْ لَكُمْ فِيهِ " .
´It was narrated that Abdullah bin Busr Al-Mazini said:` "I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'Measure your food, may you be blessed therein."'
Hadith 3263
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، أَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُسْرٍ ، قَالَ : أَهْدَيْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَاةً , فَجَثَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ يَأْكُلُ ، فَقَالَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ : مَا هَذِهِ الْجِلْسَةُ ؟ فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَعَلَنِي عَبْدًا كَرِيمًا ، وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِي جَبَّارًا عَنِيدًا " .
´‘Abdullah bin Busr said:` “I gave the Prophet (ﷺ) a gift of a sheep, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sat on his knees to eat. A Bedouin said: ‘What is this sitting?’ He said: ‘Allah has made me a humble and generous slave (of Allah) and has not made me arrogant and stubborn.’”
Hadith 3275
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ الْيَحْصَبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُسْرٍ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِقَصْعَةٍ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كُلُوا مِنْ جَوَانِبِهَا ، وَدَعُوا ذُرْوَتَهَا يُبَارَكْ فِيهَا " .
´‘Abdullah bin Busr narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was brought a bowl (of food). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Eat from the sides and leave the top, so that it may be blessed.”
Hadith 3334
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ , حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ , حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ جَابِرٍ , حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ , عَنْ ابْنَيْ بُسْرٍ السُّلَمِيَّيْنِ , قَالَا : " دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَوَضَعْنَا تَحْتَهُ قَطِيفَةً , لَنَا صَبَبْنَاهَا لَهُ صَبًّا , فَجَلَسَ عَلَيْهَا ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيْهِ الْوَحْيَ فِي بَيْتِنَا ، وَقَدَّمْنَا لَهُ زُبْدًا وَتَمْرًا , وَكَانَ يُحِبُّ الزُّبْدَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
´It was narrated that the two sons of Busr, who were of the tribe of Sulaim, said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon us. We placed a velvet cloth of ours beneath him and sprinkled water on it.* He sat on it, and Allah sent down Revelation to him in our house. We offered him butter and dates, and he (ﷺ) liked butter.”
Hadith 3793
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ , أَخْبَرَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ , أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ قَيْسٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ , أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا ، قَالَ : لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , إِنَّ شَرَائِعَ الْإِسْلَامِ قَدْ كَثُرَتْ عَلَيَّ , فَأَنْبِئْنِي مِنْهَا بِشَيْءٍ أَتَشَبَّثُ بِهِ , قَالَ : " لَا يَزَالُ لِسَانُكَ رَطْبًا مِنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
´It was narrated from Abdullah bin Busr that a Bedouin said to the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said:` "The laws of Islam are burdensome for me. Tell me of something that I will be able to adhere to. He said: 'Always keep your tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime.'"
Hadith 3818
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي , حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ , سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ بُسْرٍ , يَقُولُ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " طُوبَى لِمَنْ وَجَدَ فِي صَحِيفَتِهِ اسْتِغْفَارًا كَثِيرًا " .
´'Abdullah bin Busr said that :` the Prophet (saas) said: "Glad tidings to those who find a lot of seeking forgiveness in the record of their deeds."
Hadith 4093
حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ , عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ , عَنْ خَالِدٍ , عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي بِلَالٍ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " بَيْنَ الْمَلْحَمَةِ وَفَتْحِ الْمَدِينَةِ , سِتُّ سِنِينَ , وَيَخْرُجُ الدَّجَّالُ فِي السَّابِعَةِ " .
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Busr that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` "Between the fierce battle and the conquest of Al-Madinah will be six years, and the appearance of Dajjal will come in the seventh.'"
