Hadith 728
´It was narrated from Abu Al-'Ala' bin Ash-Shikhir that his father said:` "I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) spit and then rub it with his left foot."
Hadith 1215
´It was narrated from Mutarrif that his father said:` "I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) when he was praying, and there was a sound coming from his chest like the sound of water boiling," meaning, he was weeping.
Hadith 2283
´It was narrated from Hani bin 'Abdullah bin Shikhkhir that his father said:` "I was traveling and I came to the Prophet when he was eating and I was fasting. He said: 'Come and eat.' I said: 'I am fasting.' He said: 'Do you know what Allah has waived for the traveler?' he said: 'Do you know what Allah has waived for the traveler?' I said: 'What has Allah waived for the traveler?' He said: 'Fasting and half of the prayer."'
Hadith 2382
´It was narrated from Mutarrif bin 'Abdullah bin 'Abdullah bin Ash-Shikhkhir:` "My father told me that he heard the Messenger of Allah say, when mention was made in his presence of a man who fasted for the rest of his life: 'He neither fasted nor broke his fast."' 'Ata said: "someone who heard him told me that Ibn 'Umar (said) that the Prophet said: 'Whoever fasts every day of his life, then he has not fasted."
Hadith 2383
´Mutarrif bin 'Abdullah bin Ash-Shikhkhir narrated from his father that:` the Messenger of Allah said, concerning one who fasted for the rest of his life: "He neither fasted nor broke his fast." 'Ata said: "someone who heard him told me that Ibn 'Umar (said) that the Prophet said: 'Whoever fasts every day of his life, then he has not fasted."

عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ
قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ
مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ { 1 } حَتَّى زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ { 2 } سورة التكاثر آية 1-2 ، قَالَ : يَقُولُ ابْنُ آدَمَ : مَالِي مَالِي ، وَإِنَّمَا مَالُكَ مَا أَكَلْتَ فَأَفْنَيْتَ ، أَوْ لَبِسْتَ فَأَبْلَيْتَ ، أَوْ تَصَدَّقْتَ فَأَمْضَيْتَ " .
´It was narrated from Mutarrif, from his father, that the Prophet said:` "The mutual rivalry (for piling up of worldly things) diverts you, 'Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die).' The son of Adam says: 'My wealth, my wealth,' but your wealth is what you eat and consume, or what you wear and it wears out, or what you give in charity and send on ahead (for the Hereafter).'"
