Hadith 403
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " مَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ مِنْ غُرْفَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that:` The Messenger of Allah rinsed his mouth and sniffed water up into his nostrils from one scoop of water.
Hadith 621
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : جَاءَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ أُسْتَحَاضُ فَلَا أَطْهُرُ أَفَأَدَعُ الصَّلَاةَ ؟ قَالَ : " لَا إِنَّمَا ذَلِكِ عِرْقٌ ، وَلَيْسَ بِالْحَيْضَةِ ، فَإِذَا أَقْبَلَتِ الْحَيْضَةُ فَدَعِي الصَّلَاةَ ، وَإِذَا أَدْبَرَتْ فَاغْسِلِي عَنْكِ الدَّمَ وَصَلِّي " ، هَذَا حَدِيثُ وَكِيعٍ .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'O Messenger of Allah! I am a woman who bleeds continuously and never becomes pure, should I give up the prayer?' He said: 'No, rather that is a vein and it is not menstruation. When the time of your period comes, leave off the prayer, and when it is over, take a bath and wash the blood from yourself and perform the prayer." This is the Hadith of Waki'.
Hadith 635
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق . ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنْ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ جَمِيعًا ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَتْ إِحْدَانَا إِذَا كَانَتْ حَائِضًا ، أَمَرَهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تَأْتَزِرَ فِي فَوْرِ حَيْضَتِهَا ، ثُمَّ يُبَاشِرُهَا ، وَأَيُّكُمْ يَمْلِكُ إِرْبَهُ كَمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْلِكُ إِرْبَهُ " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "If one of us was menstruating, the Messenger of Allah would tell her to tie her waist-wrapper around herself if the bleeding was heavy, then he would embrace her. And who among you can control his desire as the Messenger of Allah used to control his desire?"
Hadith 650
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ الرَّجُلُ إِذَا وَقَعَ عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ أَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:` "If a man had intercourse with his wife while she was menstruating, the Prophet commanded him to give half a Dinar in charity."
Hadith 729
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : " الْتَمَسُوا شَيْئًا يُؤْذِنُونَ بِهِ عِلْمًا لِلصَّلَاةِ ، فَأُمِرَ بِلَالٌ أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الْأَذَانَ ، وَيُوتِرَ الْإِقَامَةَ " .
´It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:` "They looked for something by means of which they could call out informing of (the time of) the prayer. Then Bilal was commanded to say the phrases of the Adhan twice and the phrases of the Iqamah once."
Hadith 1683
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقَبِّلُ فِي شَهْرِ الصَّوْمِ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “The Prophet (ﷺ) used to kiss during the month of fasting.”
Hadith 2363
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بنُ الْجَرَّاحِ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : خَطَبَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ بِالْجَابِيَةِ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَامَ فِينَا مِثْلَ مُقَامِي فِيكُمْ فَقَالَ : " احْفَظُونِي فِي أَصْحَابِي ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ، ثُمَّ يَفْشُو الْكَذِبُ حَتَّى يَشْهَدَ الرَّجُلُ وَمَا يُسْتَشْهَدُ وَيَحْلِفَ وَمَا يُسْتَحْلَفُ " .
´It was narrated that Jabir bin Samurah said:` 'Umar bin Khattab addressed us at Jabiyah and said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up among us as I stand among you, and said: 'Honor my Companions for my sake, then those who come after them, then those who come after them. Then lying will prevail until a man will give testimony without being asked to do so, and he will swear an oath without being asked to do so.' ”
Hadith 2498
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الشَّرِيكُ أَحَقُّ بِسَقَبِهِ مَا كَانَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Rafi' that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The partner has more right to what is near him, so long as he is still a partner.”
Hadith 2545
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " ادْفَعُوا الْحُدُودَ مَا وَجَدْتُمْ لَهُ مَدْفَعًا " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Ward off the legal punishments as much as you can.”
