Hadith 712
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُصَفَّى الْحِمْصِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خَصْلَتَانِ مُعَلَّقَتَانِ فِي أَعْنَاقِ الْمُؤَذِّنِينَ لَلْمُسْلِمِينَ : صَلَاتُهُمْ ، وَصِيَامُهُمْ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: There are two characteristics in which the Muslims are dependent upon their Mu'adh-dhins: their prayer and their fasting."
Hadith 1613
حَدَّثَنَا جَمِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ الْهُذَيْلُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَوْتُ غُرْبَةٍ شَهَادَةٌ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` Dying in a strange land is martyrdom.”
Hadith 3024
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ الْحِمْصِيِّ ، عَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ : " غَدَاةَ جَمْعٍ يَا بِلَالُ أَسْكِتِ النَّاسَ أَوْ أَنْصِتِ النَّاسَ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَطَوَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي جَمْعِكُمْ هَذَا ، فَوَهَبَ مُسِيئَكُمْ لِمُحْسِنِكُمْ ، وَأَعْطَى مُحْسِنَكُمْ مَا سَأَلَ ادْفَعُوا بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ " .
´It was narrated from Bilal bin Rabah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said to him, on the morning of Jama’:` “O Bilal, calm the people down,” or “make them be quiet.” Then he said: “Allah has been very gracious to you in this Jam’ of yours. He has forgiven the wrongdoers among you because of the righteous among you, and He has given the righteous among you whatever they ask. Move on in the Name of Allah.”
Hadith 3576
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ , عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ , عَنْ سَالِمٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " الْإِسْبَالُ فِي الْإِزَارِ , وَالْقَمِيصِ وَالْعِمَامَةِ مَنْ جَرَّ شَيْئًا خُيَلَاءَ , لَمْ يَنْظُرِ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " , قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : مَا أَغْرَبَهُ .
´It was narrated from Salim, from his father, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Hanging down may apply to the waist wrap, shirt or turban. Whoever lets any of these drag out of pride, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.”
