Hadith 500
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ أَبُو خَلْدَةَ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، قال : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا كَانَ الْحَرُّ أَبْرَدَ بِالصَّلَاةِ ، وَإِذَا كَانَ الْبَرْدُ عَجَّلَ " .
´Khalid bin Dinar Abu Khaldah said:` "I heard Anas bin Malik say: 'When it was hot, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would wait until it cooled down to pray, and when it was cold he would hasten to pray.'"
Hadith 1725
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْخَلَنْجِيُّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ يَعْنِي مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ، أَنَّهُ وَفَدَ عَلَى أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَائِشَةَ , فَسَأَلَهَا عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَتْ : " كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَمَانَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَيُوتِرُ بِالتَّاسِعَةِ , وَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ " مُخْتَصَرٌ .
´It was narrated from Sa'd bin Hisham:` That he came to the Mother of the Believers Aishah and asked her about the prayers of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). She said: "He used to pray eight rak'ahs at night and pray witr with the ninth, then he would pray two rak'ahs sitting down."
Hadith 3218
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْخَلَنْجِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ الْمَازِنِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ، أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَكِ عَنِ التَّبَتُّلِ فَمَا تَرَيْنَ فِيهِ ؟ قَالَتْ : " فَلَا تَفْعَلْ أَمَا سَمِعْتَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ : وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَذُرِّيَّةً سورة الرعد آية 38 , فَلَا تَتَبَتَّلْ " .
´Narrated Sa'd bin Hisham:` It was narrated from Sa'd bin Hisham that he came to the Mother of the Believers, 'Aishah. He said: "I want to ask you about celibacy, what do you think about it?" She said: "Do not do that; have you not heard that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, says: 'And indeed We sent Messengers before you, and made for them wives and offspring'? So do not be celibate."
Hadith 3356
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ بْنِ قُدَامَةَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، وَالْأَسْوَدِ , قَالَا : أُتِيَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فِي رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً وَلَمْ يَفْرِضْ لَهَا ، فَتُوُفِّيَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِهَا ، فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ : سَلُوا هَلْ تَجِدُونَ فِيهَا أَثَرًا , قَالُوا : يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَا نَجِدُ فِيهَا ، يَعْنِي أَثَرًا ، قَالَ : أَقُولُ بِرَأْيِي , فَإِنْ كَانَ صَوَابًا ، فَمِنَ اللَّهِ : لَهَا كَمَهْرِ نِسَائِهَا لَا وَكْسَ وَلَا شَطَطَ وَلَهَا الْمِيرَاثُ وَعَلَيْهَا الْعِدَّةُ ، فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ مَنْ أَشْجَعَ ، فَقَالَ : فِي مِثْلِ هَذَا قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِينَا فِي امْرَأَةٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا بَرْوَعُ بِنْتُ وَاشِقٍ تَزَوَّجَتْ رَجُلًا ، فَمَاتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِهَا ، " فَقَضَى لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِ صَدَاقِ نِسَائِهَا وَلَهَا الْمِيرَاثُ وَعَلَيْهَا الْعِدَّةُ " ، فَرَفَعَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَدَيْهِ ، وَكَبَّرَ ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ : لَا أَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا قَالَ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ الْأَسْوَدُ غَيْرَ زَائِدَةَ .
´It was narrated that 'Alqamah and Al-Aswad said:` "A man was brought to 'Abdullah who had married a woman without naming a dowry for her, then he died before consummating the marriage with her. 'Abdullah said: 'Ask whether they can find any report about that.' They said: 'O Abu 'Abdur-Rahman, we cannot find any report about that.' He said: 'I will say what I think, and if it is correct then it is from Allah. She should have a dowry like that of her peers and no less, with no injustice, and she may inherit from him, and she has to observe the 'Iddah.' A man from Ashja' stood up and said: "The Messenger of Allah passed a similar judgment among us concerning a woman called Birwa' bint Washiq. She married a man who died before consummating the marriage with her, and the Messenger of Allah ruled that she should be given a dowry like that of her peers, and she could inherit, and she had to observe the 'Iddah.' 'Abdullah raised his hands and said the Takbir."
Hadith 3721
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْخَلَنْجِيُّ الْمَقْدِسِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ وَهُوَ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ , عَنْ وُهَيْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْعَائِدُ فِي هِبَتِهِ كَالْكَلْبِ يَقِيءُ ، ثُمَّ يَعُودُ فِي قَيْئِهِ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: 'The one who takes back his gift is like the dog which vomits then goes back to its vomit.'"
