Hadith 151
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed: We have more claim to doubt than Ibrahim (ﷺ) when he said: My Lord! Show me how Thou wilt quicken the dead. He said: Believeth thou not? He said: Yes! But that my heart may rest at ease. He (the Holy Prophet) observed: May Lord take mercy on Lot, that he wanted a strong support, and had I stayed (in the prison) as long as Yusuf stayed, I would have responded to him who invited me.
Hadith 151
'Abdullah bin Muhammad narrated the same hadith on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) and in the transmission by Malik the words are that he (the Holy Prophet) recited the verse:" but that my heart may rest at ease" and completed it.

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed: There has never been a Prophet (ﷺ) amongst the prophets who was not bestowed with a sign amongst the signs which were bestowed (on the earlier prophets). Human beings believed in it and verily I have been conferred upon revelation (the Holy Qur'an) which Allah revealed to me. I hope that I will have the greatest following on the Day of Resurrection.

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed: By Him in Whose hand is the life of Muhammad, he who amongst the community of Jews or Christians hears about me, but does not affirm his belief in that with which I have been sent and dies in this state (of disbelief), he shall be but one of the denizens of Hell-Fire.
Hadith 155
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: By Him in Whose hand is my life, the son of Mary (ﷺ) will soon descend among you as a just judge. He will break crosses, kill swine and abolish Jizya and the wealth will pour forth to such an extent that no one will accept it.

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger or Allah (ﷺ) observed: I swear by Allah that the son of Mary will certainly descend as a just judge and he would definitely break the cross, and kill swine and abolish Jizya and would leave the young she-camel and no one would endeavour to (collect Zakat on it). Spite, mutual hatred and jealousy against one another will certainly disappear and when he summons people to accept wealth, not even one would do so.
Hadith 155
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed: What will be your state when the son of Mary descends amongst you and there will be an Imam amongst you?
Hadith 155

Ibn Abi Dhi'b on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated: Your leader amongst you. Ibn Abi Dhi'b said: Do you know what the words:" He would lead as one amongst you" mean? I said: Explain these to me. He said: He would lead you according to the Book of your: Lord (hallowed be He and most exalted) and the Sunnah of your Apostle (ﷺ) .
Hadith 157
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The (Last) Hour shall not came till the sun rises from the place of its setting And on the day when it rises from the place of its setting even if all the people together affirmed their faith, it would not be of any avail to one who did not believe previously and derived no good out of his belief.
Hadith 158

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) said: When I was taken for the night journey I met Moses (ؑ) peace be upon him). The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) gave his description thus: He was a man, I suppose-and he (the narrator) was somewhat doubtful (that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) observed): ( Moses (ؑ)) was a man erect in stature with straight hair on his head as it he was one of the men of the Shanu'a; and I met Jesus and the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) described him as one having a medium stature and a red complexion as if he had (just) come out of the bath He observed: I saw Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and amongst his children I have the greatest resemblance with him. He said: There were brought to me two vessels. In one of them was milk and in the other one there was wine. And it was said to me: Select any one you like. So I selected the vessel containing milk and drank it. He (the angel) said: You have been guided on al-fitra or you have attained al-fitra. Had you selected wine, your Ummah would have been misled.

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: I found myself in Hijr and the Quraish were asking me about my might journey. I was asked about things pertaining to Bait-ul-Maqdis which I could not preserve (in my mind). I was very much vexed, so vexed as I had never been before. Then Allah raised it (Bait-ul-Maqdis) before my eyes. I looked towards it, and I gave them the information about whatever they questioned me I also saw myself among the group of apostles. I saw Moses (ؑ) saying prayer and found him to be a well-built man as if he was a man of the tribe of Shanu'a. I saw Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon him) offering prayer, of all of men he had the closest resemblance with 'Urwa bin Masu'd al-Thaqafi. I saw Ibrahim (peace be upon him) offering prayer; he had the closest resemblance with your companion (the Prophet (ﷺ) himself) amongst people. When the time of prayer came I led them. When I completed the prayer, someone said: Here is Malik, the keeper of the Hell; pay him salutations. I turned to him, but he preceded me in salutation.
Hadith 175
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that the (words of Allah):" And certainly he saw him in another descent" (al-Qur'an, Iiii. 13) imply that he saw Gabriel (ؑ).

Yaqub bin Ibrahim narrated the hadith, saying: My father told us from Ibn Shihab Zuhri, who narrated from Ata bin Yazid Laithi that Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) told him: Some people asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): “O Messenger of Allah! Will we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection?” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Do you have any difficulty in seeing the moon on a night when it is full?” The people said: “No, O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “Do you have any difficulty in seeing the sun when there are no clouds?” The companions replied: “No, O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “You will see Him (Allah) in the same way. Allah, the Exalted, will gather all people on the Day of Resurrection, then He will say: ‘Whoever used to worship something, let him follow it.’ So those who used to worship the sun will follow the sun, those who used to worship the moon will follow the moon, and those who used to worship false gods (devils, idols, etc.) will follow the false gods, and only this Ummah will remain, including its hypocrites. Then Allah, Blessed and Exalted, will come to them in a form they do not recognize, and He will say: ‘I am your Lord.’ They will say: ‘We seek refuge with Allah from you; we will stay here until our Lord comes to us, and when our Lord comes, we will recognize Him.’ Then Allah will come to them in the form in which they recognize Him and will say: ‘I am your Lord.’ They will say: ‘You are (indeed) our Lord,’ and they will follow Him. Then the (bridge of) Sirat will be laid across Hell, and I and my Ummah will be the first to cross it. On that Day, no one will speak except the Messengers, and the call of the Messengers on that Day will be: ‘O Allah! Grant safety, grant safety.’ In Hell there will be hooks like the thorns of Sa‘dan, twisted at their heads. Have you seen the thorns of Sa‘dan?” The companions replied: “Yes, O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “They will be like the thorns of Sa‘dan, but none knows how big they are except Allah. They will seize people according to their deeds. Until, when Allah has finished judging between His servants and intends, by His mercy, to bring out from the Fire whomever He wills from among those who did not associate anything with Allah, those who said ‘La ilaha illallah,’ the angels will be commanded to bring them out from the Fire. The angels will recognize them by the marks of prostration. The Fire will consume everything of the son of Adam except the marks of prostration. (Because) Allah has forbidden the Fire to consume the marks of prostration. So they will be brought out from the Fire, having been burnt and turned into charcoal, and the water of life will be poured over them, and they will grow as a seed grows in the silt left by a flood. Then Allah will finish judging between His servants. Only one man will remain, who will be facing the Fire. This man will be the last of the people of Paradise to enter Paradise. He will say: ‘O my Lord! Turn my face away from the Fire, for its stench has poisoned me and its heat has burnt me.’ He will continue to call upon Allah as long as Allah wills, then Allah, Blessed and Exalted, will say: ‘Is it possible that if I do that for you, you will ask for something else?’ He will say: ‘I will not ask You for anything else.’ He will give his Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, whatever promises and covenants He wishes, so Allah will turn his face away from the Fire. When he turns towards Paradise and sees it, he will remain silent as long as Allah wills, then he will say: ‘O my Lord! Bring me forward to the gate of Paradise.’ Allah will say to him: ‘Did you not give covenants and promises that you would not ask Me for anything other than what I have given you? Woe to you, O son of Adam! How treacherous you are!’ He will say: ‘O my Lord!’ and will continue to call upon Allah until Allah says to him: ‘Is it possible that if I grant you this, you will ask for something else?’ He will say: ‘By Your honor, (I will ask for) nothing (else).’ He will give his Lord whatever promises and covenants Allah wishes, so Allah will bring him to the gate of Paradise. When he stands at the gate of Paradise, it will be opened before him, and he will see the goodness and joy that is in it. He will remain silent as long as Allah wills, then he will say: ‘O my Lord! Admit me into Paradise.’ Allah will say to him: ‘Did you not make firm covenants and promises that you would not ask Me for anything other than what I have given you? Woe to you, O son of Adam! How treacherous you are!’ He will say: ‘O my Lord! Let me not be the most miserable of Your creation.’ He will continue to call upon Allah until Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will laugh at him, and when Allah laughs at him, He will say: ‘Enter Paradise.’ When he enters it, Allah will say: ‘Wish!’ So he will ask his Lord and wish until Allah reminds him: ‘Ask for such and such, ask for such and such,’ until all his wishes are exhausted. Then Allah will say: ‘All this is yours, and as much again with it.’” Ata bin Yazid said that Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) was also present with Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), and he did not deny anything he said, but when Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Allah will say to that man: “All this is yours, and as much again with it,” Abu Sa‘id (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “O Abu Hurairah! And ten times as much with it.” Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “I only remember that he said: ‘All this is yours, and as much again with it.’” Abu Sa‘id (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: ‘All this is yours, and ten times as much with it.’” Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “He will be the last person to enter Paradise.”
Hadith 182
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: The people said to the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) : Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) I shall we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection? The rest of the hadith was narrated according to the narration of Ibrahim bin Sa'd.

Hammam bin Munabbih said: This is what Abu Hurairah (RA) transmitted to us from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) , and he narrated many of them;- one of them was: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The lowest in rank among you in Paradise would be asked: Desire (whatever you like). And he would express his desire and again and again express a desire. tHe would be asked: Have you expressed your desire? He would say: Yes. Then He (Allah) would say: For thee is (granted) what thou desirest, and the like of it along with it.

Abu Hayyan narrated from Abu Zur’ah, and he from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: One day, meat was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and the foreleg was lifted and presented to him because it was his favorite. He took a bite from it with his blessed teeth and said: “On the Day of Resurrection, I will be the leader of all mankind. Do you know how this will be? Allah, the Exalted, will gather all the first and the last people on a flat, level plain. The caller will make everyone hear his voice, and (Allah’s) sight will encompass all (He will see everyone). The sun will come near, and people will be afflicted with such grief and distress as will be beyond their strength and unbearable. People will say to one another: ‘Do you not see the state you are in? Do you not see what calamity has befallen you? Can you not find someone to intercede for you?’—that is, with your Lord. So people will say to one another: ‘Go to Adam (peace be upon him).’ Then they will come to Adam (peace be upon him) and say: ‘O Adam! You are the father of all mankind, Allah created you with His own hand, breathed into you of His spirit, and commanded the angels to prostrate to you, and they prostrated. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see the state we are in? Do you not see what calamity has befallen us?’ Adam (peace be upon him) will reply: ‘My Lord is so angry today as He has never been before and will never be again. Indeed, He forbade me from (approaching) a certain tree, but I disobeyed Him. I am concerned about myself, I am concerned about myself. Go to someone else, go to Noah (peace be upon him).’
The people will go to Noah (peace be upon him) and say: ‘O Noah! You are the first Messenger sent to the people of the earth, and Allah named you a grateful servant. Do you not see the state we are in? Do you not see what calamity has befallen us?’ He will reply: ‘Today my Lord is so angry as He has never been before and will never be again. Indeed, I had a supplication (reserved for me), and I used it against my people. (Today) I am concerned about myself, I am concerned about myself. Go to Abraham (peace be upon him).’
So the people will go to Abraham (peace be upon him) and say: ‘(O Abraham!) You are Allah’s Prophet and His close friend among the people of the earth. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see the state we are in? Do you not see what calamity has befallen us?’ Abraham (peace be upon him) will say to them: ‘My Lord is so angry today as He has never been before and will never be again,’ and he will recall his (three) lies, (and say) ‘I am concerned about myself, I am concerned about myself. Go to someone else, go to Moses (peace be upon him).’
The people will go to Moses (peace be upon him) and say: ‘O Moses! You are Allah’s Messenger. Allah favored you with His message and His direct speech. Intercede for us with Allah. Do you not see the state we are in? Do you not see what calamity has befallen us?’ Moses (peace be upon him) will say to them: ‘My Lord is so angry today as He has never been before and will never be again. I killed a soul whom I was not commanded to kill. What will become of me? What will become of me? Go to Jesus (peace be upon him).’
The people will go to Jesus (peace be upon him) and say: ‘O Jesus! You are Allah’s word which He cast to Mary (peace be upon her), and a spirit from Him. So intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see the state we are in? Do you not see what calamity has befallen us?’ Jesus (peace be upon him) will reply: ‘My Lord is so angry today as He has never been before and will never be again,’ and he will not mention any sin, (but will say) ‘I am concerned about myself, I am concerned about myself. Go to someone else, go to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).’
The people will come to me and say: ‘O Muhammad! You are Allah’s Messenger and the last of the Prophets. Allah has forgiven your past and future sins (even if there were any). Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see the state we are in? Do you not see what calamity has befallen us?’ So I will proceed and come under the Throne and fall in prostration before my Lord. Then Allah, the Exalted, will open for me such praises and the best forms of glorification as He has never opened for anyone before me, and He will place them in my heart. Then (Allah) will say: ‘O Muhammad! Raise your head, ask and you will be given, intercede and your intercession will be accepted.’ So I will raise my head and say: ‘O my Lord! My Ummah! My Ummah!’ Then it will be said: ‘O Muhammad! Admit those of your Ummah who will have no reckoning through the rightmost gate of Paradise, and they will share the other gates of Paradise with the people as well.’ By Him in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad! The distance between the two leaves of the gates of Paradise is as far as between Mecca and (the city of Busra) or Mecca and Busra.”

It is reported on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that there was placed before the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) a cup of soft bread, soup and meat. He took part of the foreleg which he liked most. He sliced (with his teeth) a slice (out of that) and said: I would be the leader of mankind on the Day of Resurrection. He then sliced (that meat) for the second time and said: I am the leader of mankind on the Day of Resurrection. When he saw that his companions did not ask him (about this assertion) he said: Why don't you say: How would that be? They said: How would be it, Messenger of Allah? (ﷺ) He said: People would stand before the Lord of the worlds. And the rest of the hadith was narrated like the one transmitted by Abu Hayyan, on the authority of Abu Zur'a, and in the story of Ibrahim, this addition was made. He said and made mention of his words with regard to the star: This is my Lord. And his words with regard to their gods: But the big among them has done that. And his words: I am ailing. He (the Holy Prophet) said: By Him in Whose Hand is the life of Muhammad, the distance between two leaves of the door from their supporting frames is as the distance between Makkah and Hajar or Hajar and Makkah. I do not remember how he said it (whether Makkah and Hajar or Hajar and Makkah).

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) and Hudhaifa that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, would gather people. The believers would stand till the Paradise would be brought near them. They would come to Adam ؑand say: O our father, open for us the Paradise. He would say: What turned ye out from the Paradise was the sin of your father Adam. I am not in a position to do that; better go to my son Ibrahim, the Friend of Allah. He (the Holy Prophet) said: He (Ibrahim) would say: I am not in a position to do that. Verily I had been the Friend (of Allah) from beyond, beyond; you better approach Moses (ؑ) (peace be upon him) with whom Allah conversed. They would come to Moses (ؑ) (peace be upon him), but he would say: I am not in a position to do that; you better go to Jesus, the Word of Allah and His Spirit. Jesus (peace be upon him) would say: I am not in a position to do that. So they would come to Mubammad (ﷺ) . He would then be permitted (to open the door of Paradise). Trust worthiness and kinship would be despatched, and these would stand on the right and left of the Path and the first of you would pass with (the swiftness) of lightning. He (the narrator) said: I said, O thou who art far dearer to me than my father and my mother I which thing is like the passing of lightning? He said: Have you not seen lightning, how it passes and then comes back within the twinkling of an eye? Then (they would pass) like the passing of the wind, then like the passing of a bird, and the hastening of persons would be according to their deeds, and your Apostle (ﷺ) would be standing on the Path saying: Save, O my Lord, save. (The people would go on passing) till the deeds of the servants would be failing in strength, till a man would come who would find it hard to go along (that Path) but crawlingly. He (the narrator) said: And on the sides of the Path hooks would be suspended ready to catch anyone whom these would be required (to catch). There would be those who would somehow or other succeed in trasversing that Path and some would be piled up in Hell. By Him in Whose Hand is the life of Abu Hurairah (RA) it would take one seventy years to fathom the depth of Hell.
