Hadith 59
It is reported on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made observations like them embodied in the hadith narrated by Yahya bin Muhammad on the authority of 'Ala', and added to it: even if he observed fast and prayed and asserted that he was a Muslim.
Hadith 155
The same hadith is transmitted from Zuhri with the same chain of transmission. But in the tradition narrated by Ibn 'Uyaina the words are:" impartial leader and just judge" and in the tradition narrated by Yunus: the" judge judging with justice" and" impartial leader" are not mentioned. And in the hadith narrated by Salih like the one transmitted by Laith the words are:" impartial judge". And in the hadith transmitted by Ziyad the words are:" Till one sajda is better than the worldand what it contains. Then Abu Hurairah (RA) used to say," recite" if you like: Not one of the People of the Book will fail to believe in him before his death.

Hadith 897
Anas bin Malik (RA) reported that while the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) was delivering the sermon on Friday, people stood up before him and said in a loud voice: Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) , there is a drought and the trees have become yellow, the animals have died; and the rest of the hadith is the same, and in the narration transmitted by 'Abdul A'la the words are:" The clouds cleared from Madinah and it began to rain around it and not a single drop of rain fell in Madinah. And as I looked towards Madinah, I found it hollow like (the hollowness of) a basin.

Ibn Abbas (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Give the shares to those who are entitled to them, and what remains over goes to the nearest male heir.

Hadith 2144
حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا
حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ
ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ ، عَنْ
أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قال : ذَهَبْتُ بِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ وُلِدَ ، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي عَبَاءَةٍ يَهْنَأُ بَعِيرًا لَهُ ، فَقَالَ : " هَلْ مَعَكَ تَمْرٌ ؟ " ، فَقُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، فَنَاوَلْتُهُ تَمَرَاتٍ ، فَأَلْقَاهُنَّ فِي فِيهِ ، فَلَاكَهُنَّ ثُمَّ فَغَرَ فَا الصَّبِيِّ ، فَمَجَّهُ فِي فِيهِ ، فَجَعَلَ الصَّبِيُّ يَتَلَمَّظُهُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " حُبُّ الْأَنْصَارِ التَّمْرَ وَسَمَّاهُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ " .
Anas bin Malik (RA) reported: I took 'Abdullah bin Abi Talha Ansari to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) at the time of his birth. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was at that time wearing a woollen cloak and besmearing the camels with tar. He said: Have you got with you the dates? I said: Yes. He took hold of the dates and put them in his mouth and softened them, then opened the mouth of the infant and put that in it and the child began to lick it. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: The Ansar have a liking for the dates, and he (the Holy Prophet) gave him the name of 'Abdullah.
Hadith 2451

الْمُعْتَمِرِ ، قَالَ ابْنُ حَمَّادٍ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ
أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ
سَلْمَانَ ، قَالَ : " لَا تَكُونَنَّ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ يَدْخُلُ السُّوقَ ، وَلَا آخِرَ مَنْ يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا ، فَإِنَّهَا مَعْرَكَةُ الشَّيْطَانِ وَبِهَا يَنْصِبُ رَايَتَهُ ، قَالَ : وَأُنْبِئْتُ أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام ، أَتَى نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَعِنْدَهُ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : فَجَعَلَ يَتَحَدَّثُ ثُمَّ قَامَ ، فَقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، مَنْ هَذَا ، أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ ؟ قَالَتْ : هَذَا دِحْيَةُ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ : ايْمُ اللَّهِ مَا حَسِبْتُهُ إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ ، حَتَّى سَمِعْتُ خُطْبَةَ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُخْبِرُ خَبَرَنَا ، أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ ، قَالَ : فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي عُثْمَانَ : مِمَّنْ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا ؟ قَالَ : مِنْ
أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ " .
Salman reported: In case it lies in your power don't be one to enter the bazar first and the last to get out of that because there is a bustle and the standard of Satan is set there. He said: I was informed that Gabriel (ؑ) (RA) came to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and there was with him Umm Salamah and he began to talk with him. He then stood up, whereupon Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) said to Umm Salamahh (RA) : (Do you know) who was he and what did he say? She said: He was Dihya (Kalbi). He reported Umm Salamah having said: By Allah, I did not deem him but only he (Dihya) until I heard the address of Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) informing him about us. He (the narrator) said: I said to 'Uthman: From whom did you hear it? He said: From Usama bin Zaid.
Hadith 2567

عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا
حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ
ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَّ رَجُلًا زَارَ أَخًا لَهُ فِي قَرْيَةٍ أُخْرَى ، فَأَرْصَدَ اللَّهُ لَهُ عَلَى مَدْرَجَتِهِ مَلَكًا ، فَلَمَّا أَتَى عَلَيْهِ ، قَالَ : أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ ؟ قَالَ : أُرِيدُ أَخًا لِي فِي هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ ، قَالَ : هَلْ لَكَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ تَرُبُّهَا ؟ قَالَ : لَا ، غَيْرَ أَنِّي أَحْبَبْتُهُ فِي اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، قَالَ : فَإِنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَبَّكَ كَمَا أَحْبَبْتَهُ فِيهِ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying: A person visited his brother in another town and Allah deputed an Angel to wait for him on his way and when he came to him he said: Where do you intend to go? He said: I intend to go to my brother in this town. He said: Have you done any favour to him (the repayment of which you intend to get)? He said: No, excepting this that I love Mm for the sake of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious. Thereupon he said: I am a meesenger to you from, Allah: (to inform you) that Allah loves you as you love him (for His sake)
Hadith 2609
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: The strong-man is not one who wrestles well but the strong man is one who controls himself when he is in a fit of rage.
Hadith 2655
Tawus reported: I found some Companions of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Everything is by measure. And he further said: I heard 'Abdullah bin 'Umar as saying: There is a measure for everything-even for incapacity and capability.

إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ
عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيمَا يَحْكِي عَنْ رَبِّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ : " أَذْنَبَ عَبْدٌ ذَنْبًا ، فَقَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي ، فَقَالَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى : أَذْنَبَ عَبْدِي ذَنْبًا ، فَعَلِمَ أَنَّ لَهُ رَبًّا يَغْفِرُ الذَّنْبَ ، وَيَأْخُذُ بِالذَّنْبِ ثُمَّ عَادَ ، فَأَذْنَبَ ، فَقَالَ : أَيْ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي ، فَقَالَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى : عَبْدِي أَذْنَبَ ذَنْبًا ، فَعَلِمَ أَنَّ لَهُ رَبًّا يَغْفِرُ الذَّنْبَ وَيَأْخُذُ بِالذَّنْبِ ، ثُمَّ عَادَ ، فَأَذْنَبَ ، فَقَالَ : أَيْ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي ، فَقَالَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى : أَذْنَبَ عَبْدِي ذَنْبًا ، فَعَلِمَ أَنَّ لَهُ رَبًّا يَغْفِرُ الذَّنْبَ ، وَيَأْخُذُ بِالذَّنْبِ اعْمَلْ مَا شِئْتَ ، فَقَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَكَ ، قَالَ عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى : لَا أَدْرِي ، أَقَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوِ الرَّابِعَةِ اعْمَلْ مَا شِئْتَ " ،
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) that his Lord, the Exalted and Glorious, thus said. A servant committed a sin and he said: O Allah, forgive me my sins, and Allah (the Exalted and Glorious) said: My servant commited a sin and then he came to realise that he has a Lord Who forgives the sins and takes to account (the sinner) for the sin. He then again committed a sin and said: My Lord, forgive me my sin, and Allah, the Exalted and High, said: My servant committed a sin and then came to realise that he has a Lord Who would forgive his sin or would take (him) to account for the sin. He again committed a sin and said: My Lord, forgive me for my sin, and Allah (the Exalted and High) said: My servant has committed a sin and then came to realise that he has a Lord Who forgives the sins or takes (him) to account for sin. O servant, do what you like. I have granted you forgiveness. 'Abdul A'la said: I do not know whether he said thrice or four times to do "what you desire".
