Abu Musa reported: The Messenger ofallah (ﷺ) was standing amongst us and he told us five things. He said: Verily the Exalted and Mighty God does not sleep, and it does not befit Him to sleep. He lowers the scale and lifts it. The deeds in the night are taken up to Him before the deeds of the day. and the deeds of the day before the deeds of the night. His veil is the light. In the hadith narrated by Abu Bakr (RA) (instead of the word" light") it is fire. If he withdraws it (the veil), the splendour of His countenance would consume His creation so far as His sight reaches.
Hadith 179
Abu Musa reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) (znay peace be upon him) was standing amongst us and (he said) four (things): Verily Allah dock not sleep and it does not befit Him to sleep. He raises the scale and lowers it. The deeds of the day are presented to Him in the night and the deeds of the night in the day.
Hadith 864
Ka'b bin 'Ujra reported that he entered the mosque and saw Abdul Rahman bin Umm Hakam delivering the sermon in a sitting posture. Upon this he said: Look at this wretched person; he delivers the sermon while sitting, whereas Allah said:" And when they see merchandise or sport, they break away to it and leave thee standing."
Hadith 1000
A hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of Zainab the wife of 'Abdullah, and she said: I was in the mosque and the Prophet (ﷺ) of Allah (ﷺ) saw me and said: Give Sadaqa even though it is out of your jewellery. The rest of the hadith is the same.
Hadith 2355
Abu Musa Ash'ari reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) mentioned many names of his and said: I am Muhammad, Ahmad, Muqaffi (the last in succession), Hashir, the Prophet (ﷺ) of repentance, and the Prophet (ﷺ) of Mercy.
Hadith 2759
Abu Mu'sa reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, Stretches out His Hand during the night so that the people repent for the fault committed from dawn till dusk and He stretches out His Hand during the day so that the people may repent for the fault committed from dusk to dawn. (He would accept repentance) before the sun rises in the west (before the Day of Resurrection).
