Hadith 3838
حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا
عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا
وَكِيعٌ جَمِيعًا , عَنْ
هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ
أَبِيهِ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ النَّارِ , وَعَذَابِ النَّارِ , وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْقَبْرِ , وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ , وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْغِنَى , وَشَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْفَقْرِ , وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ , اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْ خَطَايَايَ بِمَاءِ الثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ , وَنَقِّ قَلْبِي مِنَ الْخَطَايَا , كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الْأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ , وَبَاعِدْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ خَطَايَايَ , كَمَا بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ , اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ , وَالْمَأْثَمِ وَالْمَغْرَمِ " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah that the :` Prophet (saas) would supplicate with these words: "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min fitnatin-nari wa 'adhabin-nar, wa min fitnatil-qabri wa 'adhabil-qabr, wa min sharri fitnatil-ghina wa min sharri fitnatil-faqr, wa min sharri fitnatil-masihid-dajjal. Allahumma aghsil khatayaya bima'ith-thalfi wal-barad, wa naqqi qalbi minal-khataya kama naqqaytath-thawbal-abyad minad-danas. Wa ba'id bayni wa bayna khatayaya kama ba'adta baynal-mashriqi wal-maghrib. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-kasali wal-harami wal-ma'thami wal-maghrami (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the tribulation of the Fire and the torment of the Fire, and from the tribulation of the grave, and from the evil of the tribulation of richness and the evil of the tribulation of poverty, and from the evil of the trial of the False Christ. O Allah! Wash away my sins with the water of snow and hail, and cleanse my heart from sin as a white garment is cleansed from filth, and put a great distance between me and my sins, as great as the distance You have made between the east and the west. O Allah! I seek refuge with You from laziness and old age, and from sins and debt)."
Hadith 3839
´It was narrated that Farwah bin Nawfal said:` "I asked 'Aishah about a supplication that the Messenger of Allah (saas) used to say. She said that he used to say: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu, wa min sharri ma lam a'mal (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of that which I have done and the evil of that which I have not done).'"
Hadith 3841

مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ , عَنْ
الْأَعْرَجِ , عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : فَقَدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ مِنْ فِرَاشِهِ , فَالْتَمَسْتُهُ , فَوَقَعَتْ يَدِي عَلَى بَطْنِ قَدَمَيْهِ وَهُوَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ , وَهُمَا مَنْصُوبَتَانِ , وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ , وَبِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ , وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ , لَا أُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ , أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "I noticed that the Messenger of Allah (saas) was missing from his bed one night, so I went looking for him, and my hand touched the soles of his feet; he was in the Masjid with his feet upright (prostrating), and he was saying: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu biridaka min sakhatika wa bimu'afatika 'an 'uqubatika, wa a'udhu bika minka, la uhsi thana'an 'alayka, Anta kama athnayta 'ala nafsika (O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and in Your forgiveness from Your punishment. I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot praise You enough; You are as You have praised Yourself).'"
Hadith 3846

جَبْرُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ , عَنْ
أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَّمَهَا هَذَا الدُّعَاءَ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ , عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ , مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ , وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ , عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ , مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ , اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ , وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَاذَ بِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ , اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ , وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ , وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ , وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ , وَأَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ كُلَّ قَضَاءٍ قَضَيْتَهُ لِي خَيْرًا " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah that :` the Messenger of Allah (saas) taught her this supplication: "Allahumma inni as'aluka minal-khayri kullihi, 'ajilihi wa ajilihi, ma 'alimtu minhu wa ma la a'lam. Wa a'udhu bika minash-sharri kullihi, 'ajilihi wa ajilihi, ma 'alimtu minhu wa ma la a'lam. Allahumma inni as'aluka min khayri ma sa'alaka 'abduka wa nabiyyuka, wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'adha bihi 'abduka wa nabiyyuka. Allahumma inni as'alukal-jannatah wa ma qarrab ilayha min qawlin aw 'amalin, wa a'udhu bika minan-nari wa ma qarraba ilayha min qawlin aw 'amalin, wa as'aluka an taj'al kulla qada'in qadaytahuli khayran (O Allah, I ask You for all that is good, in this world and in the Hereafter, what I know and what I do not know. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from all evil, in this world and in the Hereafter, what I know and what I do not know. O Allah, I ask You for the good that Your slave and Prophet has asked You for, and I seek refuge with You from the evil from which Your slave and Prophet sought refuge. O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and for that which brings one closer to it, in word and deed, and I seek refuge in You from Hell and from that which brings one closer to it, in word and deed. And I ask You to make every decree that You decree concerning me good)."
Hadith 3850
´It was narrated from 'Aishah that she said:` "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think I should say in my supplication, if I come upon Laylatul-Qadr?" He said: "Say: 'Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa, fa'fu 'anni (O Allah, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me).'"

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ
الْفَزَارِيِّ , عَنْ
أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , عَنْ
عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُكَيْمٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الطَّاهِرِ الطَّيِّبِ الْمُبَارَكِ الْأَحَبِّ إِلَيْكَ الَّذِي , إِذَا دُعِيتَ بِهِ أَجَبْتَ , وَإِذَا سُئِلْتَ بِهِ أَعْطَيْتَ , وَإِذَا اسْتُرْحِمْتَ بِهِ رَحِمْتَ , وَإِذَا اسْتُفْرِجَتَ بِهِ فَرَّجْتَ " , قَالَتْ : وَقَالَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ : " يَا عَائِشَةُ , هَلْ عَلِمْتِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ دَلَّنِي عَلَى الِاسْمِ الَّذِي إِذَا دُعِيَ بِهِ أَجَابَ " , قَالَتْ : فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي فَعَلِّمْنِيهِ , قَالَ : " إِنَّهُ لَا يَنْبَغِي لَكِ يَا عَائِشَةُ " , قَالَتْ : فَتَنَحَّيْتُ وَجَلَسْتُ سَاعَةً , ثُمَّ قُمْتُ فَقَبَّلْتُ رَأْسَهُ , ثُمَّ قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , عَلِّمْنِيهِ , قَالَ : " إِنَّهُ لَا يَنْبَغِي لَكِ يَا عَائِشَةُ أَنْ أُعَلِّمَكِ , إِنَّهُ لَا يَنْبَغِي لَكِ أَنْ تَسْأَلِينَ بِهِ شَيْئًا مِنَ الدُّنْيَا " , قَالَتْ : فَقُمْتُ فَتَوَضَّأْتُ , ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ , ثُمَّ قُلْتُ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَدْعُوكَ اللَّهَ , وَأَدْعُوكَ الرَّحْمَنَ , وَأَدْعُوكَ الْبَرَّ , الرَّحِيمَ , وَأَدْعُوكَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ الْحُسْنَى كُلِّهَا مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهَا وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ , أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي , وَتَرْحَمَنِي , قَالَتْ : فَاسْتَضْحَكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , ثُمَّ قَالَ : " إِنَّهُ لَفِي الْأَسْمَاءِ الَّتِي دَعَوْتِ بِهَا " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "I heard the Messenger of Allah (saas) say: 'Allahumma! Inni asa'luka bismikat-tahirit-tayyibil-mubarak al-ahabbi ilaika, alladhi idha du'ita bihi ajabta, wa idha su'ilta bihi a'taita, wa idhasturhimta bihi rahimta, wa idhastufrijta bihi farrajta (O Allah! I ask You by Your pure, good and blessed Name which is most beloved by You, which if You are called thereby You answer, and if You as asked thereby You give, if You are asked for mercy thereby You bestow mercy, and if You are asked for relief (from distress) thereby You grant relief.'"She said: "He said one day: 'O 'Aishah, do you know that Allah has told me the Name which, if He is called thereby, He responds?' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be ransomed for you! Teach it to me.' He said: 'You should not learn it, O 'Aishah.' So I moved aside and sat for a while, then I got up and kissed his head, then I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, teach it to me.' He said: 'You should not learn it, O 'Aishah, and I should not teach it to you, for you should not ask for any worldly things thereby.'" She said: "So I got up and performed ablution, then I prayed two Rak'ah, then I said: 'O Allah, I call upon Allah, and I call upon You, Ar-Rahman (the Most Gracious), and I call upon You, Al-Barr Ar-Rahim (The Most Kind, the Most Merciful), and I call upon You by all Your beautiful Names, those that I know and those that I do not know, (asking) that You forgive me and have mercy on me.' The Messenger of Allah (saas) smiled, then he said: 'It is among the names by which you called upon (Allah).'"
Hadith 3875

اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ , عَنْ
عُقَيْلٍ , عَنْ
ابْنِ شِهَابٍ , أَنَّ
عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ أَخْبَرَهُ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " إِذَا أَخَذَ مَضْجَعَهُ , نَفَثَ فِي يَدَيْهِ , وَقَرَأَ , وَمَسَحَ بِهِمَا جَسَدَهُ " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah that:` whenever the Prophet (saas) went to bed, he would blow into his hands, recite Al-Mu'awwidhatain, then wipe his hands over his body.
Hadith 3889
حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا
يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ
الْمِقْدَامِ , عَنْ
أَبِيهِ , أَنَّ
عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ , أَنَّ ّالنَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , كَانَ إِذَا رَأَى سَحَابًا مُقْبِلًا مِنْ أُفُقٍ مِنَ الْآفَاقِ , تَرَكَ مَا هُوَ فِيهِ , وَإِنْ كَانَ فِي صَلَاتِهِ , حَتَّى يَسْتَقْبِلَهُ , فَيَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أُرْسِلَ بِهِ " , فَإِنْ أَمْطَرَ , قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ سَيْبًا نَافِعًا " , مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةً , وَإِنْ كَشَفَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَلَمْ يُمْطِرْ , " حَمِدَ اللَّهَ " عَلَى ذَلِكَ .
´‘Aishah narrated that when the Prophet (ﷺ) saw a cloud approaching from any horizon, he would stop what he was doing, even if he was praying, and turn to face it, then he would say:` “Allahumma inna na’udhu bika min sharri ma ursila bihi (O Allah, we seek refuge with You from the evil of that with which it is sent).” Then if it rained he would say: “Allahumma sayyiban nafi’an (O Allah, a beneficial rain),” two or three times. And if Allah dispelled it and it did not rain, he would praise Allah for that.
Hadith 3890
´It was narrated from ‘Aishah that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw rain, he would say:` “Allahumma aj’alhu sayyiban hani’an (O Allah, make it a wholesome rain cloud).”
Hadith 3891
حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا
مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ , عَنْ
ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ , عَنْ
عَطَاءٍ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , إِذَا رَأَى مَخِيلَةً , تَلَوَّنَ وَجْهُهُ وَتَغَيَّرَ , وَدَخَلَ وَخَرَجَ , وَأَقْبَلَ وَأَدْبَرَ , فَإِذَا أَمْطَرَتْ سُرِّيَ عَنْهُ , قَالَ : فَذَكَرَتْ لَهُ عَائِشَةُ بَعْضَ مَا رَأَتْ مِنْهُ , فَقَالَ : " وَمَا يُدْرِيكِ لَعَلَّهُ كَمَا قَالَ قَوْمُ هُودٍ : فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ عَارِضًا مُسْتَقْبِلَ أَوْدِيَتِهِمْ قَالُوا هَذَا عَارِضٌ مُمْطِرُنَا بَلْ هُوَ مَا اسْتَعْجَلْتُمْ بِهِ سورة الأحقاف آية 24 .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “If the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw a cloud that looked as if it was bringing rain, the color of his face would change, and he would go in and out and walk to and fro. Then, if it rained, he would feel relieved.” ‘Aishah mentioned to him what she had seen him do, and he said: “How do you know? Perhaps it would be as the people of Hud said: ‘Then, when they saw it as a dense cloud coming towards their valleys, they said: “This is a cloud bringing us rain!” Nay, but it is that (torment) which you were asking to be hastened.” [46:24]
Hadith 4001
حَدَّثَنَا

وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا
عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى , عَنْ
مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ , عَنْ
دَاوُدَ بْنِ مُدْرِكٍ , عَنْ
عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ , إِذْ دَخَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ , تَرْفُلُ فِي زِينَةٍ لَهَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ , فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ , انْهَوْا نِسَاءَكُمْ عَنْ لُبْسِ الزِّينَةِ , وَالتَّبَخْتُرِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ , فَإِنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَمْ يُلْعَنُوا , حَتَّى لَبِسَ نِسَاؤُهُمُ الزِّينَةَ , وَتَبَخْتَرْنَ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “While the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was sitting in the mosque, a woman from Muzainah (tribe) entered, trailing her garment in the mosque. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘O people, tell your women not to wear their adornments and show pride in the mosque, for the Children of Israel were not cursed until their women wore adornments and walked proudly in their places of worship.’”
Hadith 4004

عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ , عَنْ
عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ , عَنْ
عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ : " مُرُوا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ , وَانْهَوْا عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ , قَبْلَ أَنْ تَدْعُوا فَلَا يُسْتَجَابَ لَكُمْ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil, before you call and you are not answered.’”
Hadith 4144
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “We, the family of Muhammad (ﷺ), would stay for a month during which no fire would be lit (for cooking) and we had only dates and water.”
Hadith 4145
حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا
يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ , حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو , عَنْ
أَبِي سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : " لَقَدْ كَانَ يَأْتِي عَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , الشَّهْرُ مَا يُرَى فِي بَيْتٍ مِنْ بُيُوتِهِ الدُّخَانُ " , قُلْتُ : فَمَا كَانَ طَعَامُهُمْ ؟ قَالَتْ : " الْأَسْوَدَانِ , التَّمْرُ وَالْمَاءُ , غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ لَنَا جِيرَانٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ جِيرَانُ صِدْقٍ , وَكَانَتْ لَهُمْ رَبَائِبُ , فَكَانُوا يَبْعَثُونَ إِلَيْهِ أَلْبَانَهَا " , قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ : وَكَانُوا تِسْعَةَ أَبْيَاتٍ .
´It was narrated from Abu Salamah that ‘Aishah said:` “There would come a month when no smoke was seen in any of the households of the family of Muhammad (ﷺ). I said: "What did you eat?" She said: "The two black ones - dates and water." But we had neighbors among the Ansar, sincere neighbors, who had domestic sheep, and they used to send some of their milk to us. (One of the narrators) Muhammad said: "And they were nine households."
Hadith 4151
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “The bed of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was made of leather, stuffed with fibers of date-palm trees.”
Hadith 4198
حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا
وَكِيعٌ , عَنْ
مَالِكِ بْنِ مِغْوَلٍ , عَنْ
عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْتُونَ مَا آتَوْا وَقُلُوبُهُمْ وَجِلَةٌ سورة المؤمنون آية 60 , أَهُوَ يُضَافُ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي يَزْنِي وَيَسْرِقُ وَيَشْرَبُ الْخَمْرَ , قَالَ : " لَا , يَا بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ , أَوْ يَا بِنْتَ الصِّدِّيقِ , وَلَكِنَّهُ الرَّجُلُ يَصُومُ وَيَتَصَدَّقُ وَيُصَلِّي , وَهُوَ يَخَافُ أَنْ لَا يُتَقَبَّلَ مِنْهُ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, ‘And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear.” [23:60] Is this the one who commits adultery, steals and drinks alcohol?’ He said: ‘No, O daughter of Abu Bakr’ – O daughter of Siddiq – rather it is a man who fasts and gives charity and prays, but he fears that those will not be accepted from him.’”
Hadith 4212
´It was narrated from ‘Aishah, the Mother of the Believers, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The most quickly rewarded of good deeds are kindness and upholding the ties of kinship, and the most quickly punished evil deeds are injustice and severing the ties of kinship.”
Hadith 4238
حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو أُسَامَةَ , عَنْ
هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ
أَبِيهِ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : كَانَتْ عِنْدِي امْرَأَةٌ , فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَ : " مَنْ هَذِهِ ؟ " , قُلْتُ : فُلَانَةُ لَا تَنَامُ تَذْكُرُ مِنْ صَلَاتِهَا , فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَهْ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا تُطِيقُونَ , فَوَاللَّهِ لَا يَمَلُّ اللَّهُ حَتَّى تَمَلُّوا " , قَالَتْ : وَكَانَ أَحَبَّ الدِّينَ إِلَيْهِ الَّذِي يَدُومُ عَلَيْهِ صَاحِبُهُ .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “There was a woman with me, and the Prophet (ﷺ) entered upon me and said: ‘Who is that?’ I said: ‘So-and-so; she does not sleep,’” – she mentioned her excessive praying. “The Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘Keep quiet. You should do what you are able to, for by Allah, Allah does not get tired (of giving reward) but you get tired.’” She said: “The most beloved of religious deed to him was that in which a person persists.”
Hadith 4243
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me: ‘O ‘Aishah, beware of (evil) deeds that are regarded as insignificant, for they have a pursuer from Allah. (i.e. accountability).”
Hadith 4264
حَدَّثَنَا
يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى , عَنْ
سَعِيدٍ , عَنْ
قَتَادَةَ , عَنْ
زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى , عَنْ
سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ , أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ , وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ , كَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ " , فَقِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , كَرَاهِيَةُ لِقَاءِ اللَّهِ فِي كَرَاهِيَةِ لِقَاءِ الْمَوْتِ , فَكُلُّنَا يَكْرَهُ الْمَوْتَ , قَالَ : " لَا إِنَّمَا ذَاكَ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ , إِذَا بُشِّرَ بِرَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ وَمَغْفِرَتِهِ , أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ , فَأَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ , وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ بِعَذَابِ اللَّهِ , كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ , وَكَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ " .
´It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him, and whoever hates to meet Allah, Allah hates to meet him.” It was said to him: “O Messenger of Allah, does hating to meet Allah mean hating to meet death? For all of us hate death.” He said: “No. Rather that is only at the moment of death. But if he is given the glad tidings of the mercy and forgiveness of Allah, he loves to meet Allah and Allah loves to meet him; and if he is given the tidings of the punishment of Allah, he hates to meet Allah and Allah hates to meet him.”
Hadith 4276
حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ , عَنْ
حَاتِمِ بْنِ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ , عَنْ
ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ , عَنْ
الْقَاسِمِ , قَالَ : قَالَتْ
عَائِشَةُ , قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , كَيْفَ يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ؟ قَالَ : " حُفَاةً عُرَاةً " , قُلْتُ : وَالنِّسَاءُ ؟ قَالَ : " وَالنِّسَاءُ " , قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , فَمَا يُسْتَحْيَا , قَالَ : " يَا عَائِشَةُ , الْأَمْرُ أَشَدُّ مِنْ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ " .
´It was narrated that Qasim said:` ‘Aishah said: “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, how will the people be gathered on the Day of Resurrection?’ He said: ‘Barefoot and naked.’ I said: ‘And the women?’ He said: ‘And the women.’ I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, will we not feel embarrassed?’ He said: ‘O ‘Aishah, the matter will be too serious for them to look at one another.’”
Hadith 4279
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): “On the Day when the earth will be changed to another earth and so will be the heavens.” [14:48] – where will the people be on that Day?’ He said: ‘On the Sirat (the Bridge across Hell-fire).’”
