Hadith 2071
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَرْبَعٌ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ لَا مُلَاعَنَةَ بَيْنَهُنَّ النَّصْرَانِيَّةُ تَحْتَ الْمُسْلِمِ ، وَالْيَهُودِيَّةُ تَحْتَ الْمُسْلِمِ ، وَالْحُرَّةُ تَحْتَ الْمَمْلُوكِ ، وَالْمَمْلُوكَةُ تَحْتَ الْحُرِّ " .
´It was nanated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that:` the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "There are four kinds of women for whom there is no Li'an: a Christian woman married to a Muslim, a Jewish woman married to a Muslim, a free woman married to a slave, and a slave woman married to a free man."
Hadith 2454
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شَوْذَبٍ ، عَنْ مَطَرٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : " مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَزْرَعْهَا أَوْ لِيُزْرِعْهَا وَلَا يُؤَاجِرْهَا " .
´It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) addressed us and said: 'Whoever has land, let him cultivate it or allow someone else to cultivate it, and not rent it out.' ”
Hadith 2525
حَدَّثَنَا رَاشِدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ مَلَكَ ذَا رَحِمٍ مَحْرَمٍ فَهُوَ حُرٌّ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn`Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever becomes the master of a Mahram relative, he becomes free.”
Hadith 2691
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُمَيْرٍ عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ النَّحَّاسِ ، وَعِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ العسقلاني ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شَوْذَبٍ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : أَتَى رَجُلٌ بِقَاتِلِ وَلِيِّهِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اعْفُ " فَأَبَى ، فَقَالَ : " خُذْ أَرْشَكَ " ، فَأَبَى ، قَالَ : " اذْهَبْ فَاقْتُلْهُ فَإِنَّكَ مِثْلُهُ " قَالَ : فَلُحِقَ بِهِ ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ قَالَ : " اقْتُلْهُ فَإِنَّكَ مِثْلُهُ " ، فَخَلَّى سَبِيلَهُ قَالَ : فَرُئِيَ يَجُرُّ نِسْعَتَهُ ذَاهِبًا إِلَى أَهْلِهِ ، قَالَ : كَأَنَّهُ قَدْ كَانَ أَوْثَقَهُ ، قَالَ أَبُو عُمَيْرٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : قَالَ ابْنُ شَوْذَبٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، فَلَيْسَ لِأَحَدٍ بَعْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَقُولُ : " اقْتُلْهُ فَإِنَّكَ مِثْلُهُ " ، قَالَ ابْن مَاجَةَ : هَذَا حَدِيثُ الرَّمْلِيِّينَ لَيْسَ إِلَّا عِنْدَهُمْ .
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man brought the killer of his guardian to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Forgive him." He refused, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take the blood money." He refused, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go, kill him, and you will be like him." 1 So, it was said to him that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has said: "Go, kill him, and you will be like him." So he let him go. The killer was seen dragging his strap towards his family, as if the heir of the slain had tied him up. 1 Abu Umair, in his narration, says: Ibn Shawdhab narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Qasim this statement: After the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), it is not permissible for anyone to say «اقتله فإنك مثله». Ibn Majah says: This is the narration of the people of Ramla; no one else has narrated it besides them.
Hadith 3211
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُمَيْرٍ عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّحَّاسُ ، وَعِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ الرَّمْلِيُّ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " كُلْ مَا رَدَّتْ عَلَيْكَ قَوْسُكَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Tha’labah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Eat what your bow brings you.”
Hadith 3338
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُمَيْرٍ عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّحَّاسُ الرَّمْلِيُّ , حَدَّثَنَا ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَطَاءٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ : " زَارَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَوْمَهُ بَيِنَنَا , فَأَتَوْهُ بِرُقَاقٍ مِنْ رُقَاقِ الْأُوَلِ , فَبَكَى , وَقَالَ : " مَا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذَا بِعَيْنِهِ قَطُّ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Ata that his father said:` “Abu Hurairah visited his people, meaning, a village” – I (one of the narrators) think he said: “Yuna” – “And they brought him some of the first thin loaves of bread. He wept and said: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) never saw such a thing with his own eyes.’”
Hadith 4287
حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ النَّحَّاسِ الرَّمْلِيُّ , وَأَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّقِّيُّ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ شَوْذَبٍ , عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ جَدِّهِ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نُكْمِلُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ سَبْعِينَ أُمَّةً , نَحْنُ آخِرُهَا وَخَيْرُهَا " .
´It was narrated from Bahz bin Hakim, from his father, that his grandfather said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘On the Day of Resurrection, we will complete seventy nations, of whom we are the last and the best.’”
