Hadith 1810
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْبَزَّارُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ أُمَّ أَيُّوبَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَزَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَتَكَلَّفُوا لَهُ طَعَامًا فِيهِ مِنْ بَعْضِ هَذِهِ الْبُقُولِ فَكَرِهَ أَكْلَهُ " ، فَقَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ : " كُلُوهُ فَإِنِّي لَسْتُ كَأَحَدِكُمْ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ أُوذِيَ صَاحِبِي " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ ، وَأُمُّ أَيُّوبَ هِيَ امْرَأَةُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ .
Narrated from Umm Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) (after migration) stayed at their house. They prepared a sumptuous meal for him in which there were some of those vegetables (such as garlic, etc.). The Prophet disliked eating it and said to the companions: "You eat it, for I am not like you. I fear that I may cause discomfort to my companion (Jibril)." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
