´Narrated 'Abdullah:` "I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) which sin is the worst.' He said: 'That you make an equal to Allah while it is He who created you, that you kill your child so that he not eat with you - or because of your food, that you commit adultery with your neighbor's wife.'" He said: "And he recited this Ayah: 'And those who invoke not any other god along with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for what is required, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse - and whoever does that shall receive punishment. The torment will be doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace (25:68 & 69).'"

Abu Wa’il Shaqiq bin Salamah says: A man from the tribe of Banu Rabi’ah said: I came to Madinah and presented myself before the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). There, during the conversation, I mentioned the envoy of the people of ‘Ad, and I said: I seek refuge with Allah from becoming like the envoy of ‘Ad. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “What is the story of the envoy of ‘Ad?” I said: (It is good) that you asked someone who knows (I will tell you). When the people of ‘Ad were afflicted with drought, they sent Qayl (a man) (to Makkah to seek help and support). He stayed with Bakr bin Mu’awiyah, who gave him wine to drink, and two famous singing girls entertained him with their songs. Then Qayl left from there and headed towards the mountains of Mahrah (Mahrah is the name of the ancestor of a tribe). He (prayed and) said: O Allah! I have not come to You with a sick person to have him treated, nor for a prisoner to have him freed. So give Your servant to drink (i.e., me) what You wish to give, and along with it, give Bakr bin Mu’awiyah to drink as well (he made this supplication in gratitude) for the wine that Bakr bin Mu’awiyah had given him. (As a result) several clouds gathered for him (in the sky), and it was said to him: Choose any one of these for yourself. He chose the black cloud among them. It was said: Take it, but in it is your destruction and ruin; it will not leave a single person of the people of ‘Ad behind. And it is also mentioned that the wind (storm) sent upon ‘Ad was left only as much as the circle of a ring. Then the Prophet recited the verse «إذ أرسلنا عليهم الريح العقيم ما تذر من شيء أتت عليه إلا جعلته كالرميم» “And remember when We sent upon them a barren wind; it left nothing of what it came upon but that it made it like disintegrated ruins” (Adh-Dhariyat: 42). 1.
© Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith has been narrated by several people from Salam Abu Mundhir, Salam from ‘Asim bin Abi an-Najud, ‘Asim from Abu Wa’il, and Abu Wa’il from (instead of «عن رجل من ربیعة») Harith bin Hassan. (This narration is coming ahead.)
2- Harith bin Hassan is also called Harith bin Yazid.
Hadith 3274
´Narrated Abu Wa'il:` that Al-Harith bin Yazid Al-Bakri said: "I arrived in Al-Madinah and entered the Masjid and found it full with the people and I also noticed a black banner raised high, while Bilal was holding a sword before the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). I said: 'What is the matter with the people?' They said: 'He intends to send 'Amr bin Al-'As somewhere.'" So he mentioned the Hadith in its entirety, similar in meaning to the narration of Sufyan bin 'Uyainah (#3273). He said: He is also called Al-Harith bin Hassan.
Hadith 3530
´`Amr bin Murrah said:` “I heard Abu Wa’il say: ‘`Abdullah bin Mas`ud said’ and I said to him: ‘Did you hear it from `Abdullah?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ And he narrated it in Marfu` form that he said: ‘There is none with more Ghirah than Allah, and due to this He prohibited the lewd sins, that which is apparent of them and that which is hidden. And there is none to whom praise is more beloved than Allah, and due to this, He praised Himself.’”
Hadith 3563
´Ali [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated:` that a Mukatib came to him and said: “Indeed I am not capable of my Kitabah so aid me.” He said: “Should I not teach you words that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) taught me? If you had a debt upon you similar to the mountain of Sir, Allah would fulfill it for you. He said: ‘Say: O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful against Your prohibited, and make me independent of all those besides You (Allāhummakfinī biḥalālika `an ḥarāmika, wa aghninī bi faḍlika `amman siwāka).’”
Hadith 3810
´Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Take the Qur'an from four: From Ibn Mas'ud, Ubayy bin Ka'b, Mu'adh bin Jabal, and Salim the freed slave of Abu Hudhaifah."

´Narrated Khabbab:` "We emigrated with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), seeking the Face of Allah. So our reward is with Allah. Among us were those who died and did not consume any of the rewards (in this life), and among us were those who lived to see its fruits and tend to them. Verily, Musab bin 'Umair died without leaving anything behind but a garment. When they covered his head with it, his feet would become exposed, and when they covered his feet with it, his head will become exposed. So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Cover his head and place Al-Idhkir over his feet."
