Ziyad bin 'Ilaqa reported it on the authority of his uncle that he said the morning prayer with the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) and he recited in the first rak'ah: "And the tall palm trees having flower spikes piled one above another (l. 10) or perhaps Surah Qaf.
A hadith like this has been transmitted on the authority of Hisham with the same chain of narrators (and the words are): When Sauda became old (the rest of the hadith is the same) and in the narration of Sharik there is an addition (of these words: "She was the first woman whom he (Allah's Apostle) (ﷺ) married after me."
'Amr bin Sharid reported on the authority of his father that there was in the delegation of Thaqif a leper. Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) sent a message to him: We have accepted your allegiance, so you may go.
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: The truest word spoken by an Arab (pre-Islamic) in poetry is this verse of Labid: "Behold! apart from Allah everything is vain."
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: A person came to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) . The rest of the hadith is the same as transmitted by jarir but with this addition: By your father, you would get the information.
