´Sahl bin Hunaif said:` "I suffered from a severe and troubling case of Al-Madhi. I was performing Ghusl often because of it. So I mentioned that to Allah's Messenger and asked him about it. He said: "You only need to perform Wudu for that." I said: "O Messenger of Allah! How about when it gets on my clothes?" He said: "It is sufficient for you to take a handful of water and sprinkle it n your garment wherever you see that it has touched it."
Hadith 1653
It is narrated from Sahl bin Hunaif (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever sincerely asks Allah for martyrdom, Allah will grant him the rank of the martyrs even if he dies on his bed." 1. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- The hadith of Sahl bin Hunaif is Hasan Gharib; we know it only from the narration of Abdur Rahman bin Shuraih. This hadith has also been narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Shuraih by Abdullah bin Salih. The kunyah of Abdur Rahman bin Shuraih is Abu Shuraih, and he is an Iskandarani (resident of Alexandria).
2- In this chapter, there is also a narration from Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him).
