Hadith 39
´It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundub that:` The Prophet (ﷺ) said: '"Whoever narrated a Hadith from me thinking it to be false, then he is one of the two liars."
Hadith 844
حَدَّثَنَا
جَمِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ جَمِيلٍ الْعَتَكِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا
سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ
قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ
الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ
سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدَبٍ ، قَالَ : سَكْتَتَانِ حَفِظْتُهُمَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَنْكَرَ ذَلِكَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ ، فَكَتَبْنَا إِلَى
أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ بِالْمَدِينَةِ ، فَكَتَبَ أَنَّ سَمُرَةَ قَدْ حَفِظَ ، قَالَ سَعِيدٌ : فَقُلْنَا لِقَتَادَةَ : مَا هَاتَانِ السَّكْتَتَانِ ؟ قَالَ : " إِذَا دَخَلَ فِي صَلَاتِهِ وَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنَ الْقِرَاءَةِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ بَعْدُ ، وَإِذَا قَرَأَ : غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا الضَّالِّينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 7 ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ يُعْجِبُهُمْ إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنَ الْقِرَاءَةِ أَنْ يَسْكُتَ حَتَّى يَتَرَادَّ إِلَيْهِ نَفَسُهُ " .
´It was narrated that Samurah bin Jundab said:` “There are two pauses which I memorized from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), but `Imran bin Husain denied that. We wrote to Ubayy bin Ka`b in Al-Madinah, and he wrote that Samurah had indeed memorized them.” (One of the narrators) Sa`eed said: "We said to Qatadah: 'What are these two pauses?' He said: 'When he started his prayer, and when he finished reciting.' Then later he said: 'And when he recited: 'Not (the way) of those who earned your anger, nor of those who went astray.' They used to like (for the Imam) when he had finished reciting to remain silent until he had caught his breath.'"
Hadith 845
´Samurah said:` “I memorized two pauses in the prayer, a pause before reciting and a pause when bowing. ‘Imran bin Husain denied that, so they wrote to Al-Madinah, to Ubayy bin Ka’b, and he said that Samurah was speaking the truth.”
Hadith 921
´It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundub that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “When the Imam says the Salam, then respond to him.”
Hadith 922
´It was narrated that Samurah bin Jundab said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) commanded us to greet our Imam with Salam, and to greet one another with Salam.”
Hadith 1093
It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) described the likeness of Friday, saying that those who come earliest are like the one who sacrifices a camel, then like one who sacrifices a cow, then like one who sacrifices a sheep, until he made mention of a chicken.
Hadith 1128
´It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever abandons Friday deliberately, let him give a Dinar in charity, and if he cannot afford that, then (let him give) half a Dinar.”

´It was narrated that Samurah bin Jundab said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in the eclipse prayer, and we did not hear his voice.”

It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab Al-Fazari that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) offered the funeral prayer for a woman who had died in nifas* and he stood level with her middle (i.e. her waist).” *The postnatal bleeding period.
Hadith 1849
´It was narrated from Samurah that:` the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) forbade celibacy. Zaid bin Akhzam added: “And Qatadah recited: 'And indeed We sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad (ﷺ)), and made for them wives and offspring.'”

´It was narrated from Samurah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` "The two parties to a transaction have the choice (of annulling it) so long as they have not yet parted. "

´It was narrated from 'Uqbah bin 'Amir or Samurah bin Jundab that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` "Any man who sells to two men, it is for the one who was first."[1]

´It was narrated from Samurah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), said:` "If two (separate) authorized persons make a sale (of the same thing), then the first transaction is the one that is valid. "

´It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` "The contractual obligation regarding a slave lasts for three days." (1)

´It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundub that :` the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade selling animals for animals on credit.

´It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundub that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “If a man loses something, or it is stolen from him, and he finds it in the possession of a man who bought it, then he has more right to it, and the one who bought it should ask for his money back from the one who sold it to him.' ”

´It was narrated from ('Uqbah bin 'Amir or) Samurah bin Jundub that :` the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “If a product is sold to two men, it is for the one who was first.”

´It was narrated from Samurah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The hand that takes is responsible for what it has taken until it returns it.”

´It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundub that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever becomes the master of a Mahram relative (with whom marriage is not lawful), he becomes free.”

´It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever kills his slave, we will kill him, and whoever mutilates (his slave) we will mutilate him.”

´It was narrated from the son of Samurah bin Jundub that his father said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Whoever kills, the spoils are his.’”

´It was narrated from Samurah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Every boy is mortgaged by his ‘Aqiqah, so slaughter for him on the seventh day, and shave his head, and name him.”

´It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Wear white garments, for they are purer and better.”

´It was narrated that Samurah said:` "The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) forbade giving our slaves four names: Aflah (successful), Nafi' (beneficial), Rabah (profit) and Yasar(prosperity)."

سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ , عَنْ
هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ , عَنْ
سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدَبٍ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " أَرْبَعٌ أَفْضَلُ الْكَلَامِ لَا يَضُرُّكَ بِأَيِّهِنَّ بَدَأْتَ : سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ , وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ , وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ , وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ " .
´It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab that :` the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "(There are) four that are the best of words, and it does not matter with which you begin: Subhan-Allah, wal-Hamdu-Lillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wa Allahu Akbar (Glory is to Allah, praise is to Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but Allah and Allah is the Most Great)."
Hadith 3946
´It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever offers the morning prayer, he is under the protection of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime.”
