Hadith 1993
حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكَرِّمٍ الْعَمِّيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ وَرْدَانَ اللَّيْثِيُّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ تَرَكَ الْكَذِبَ وَهُوَ بَاطِلٌ بُنِيَ لَهُ فِي رَبَضِ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ الْمِرَاءَ وَهُوَ مُحِقٌّ بُنِيَ لَهُ فِي وَسَطِهَا ، وَمَنْ حَسَّنَ خُلُقَهُ بُنِيَ لَهُ فِي أَعْلَاهَا " ، وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ وَرْدَانَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ .
´Anas bin Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:` "Whoever avoids lying while he is doing so falsely, a house will be built for him on the skirts of Paradise. Whoever avoids arguing while he is in the right, a house will be built for him in its midst. And whoever has good character, a house will be built for him in its heights."
Hadith 2895
حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ الْعَمِّيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ وَرْدَانَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ : " هَلْ تَزَوَّجْتَ يَا فُلَانُ ؟ قَالَ : لَا وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، وَلَا عِنْدِي مَا أَتَزَوَّجُ بِهِ ، قَالَ : أَلَيْسَ مَعَكَ " قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ " ؟ قَالَ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : ثُلُثُ الْقُرْآنِ ، قَالَ : أَلَيْسَ مَعَكَ " إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ " ؟ قَالَ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : رُبُعُ الْقُرْآنِ ، قَالَ : أَلَيْسَ مَعَكَ " قُلْ يَأَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ " ؟ قَالَ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : رُبُعُ الْقُرْآنِ ، قَالَ : أَلَيْسَ مَعَكَ " إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ " ؟ قَالَ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : رُبُعُ الْقُرْآنِ ، قَالَ : تَزَوَّجْ تَزَوَّجْ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ .
´Narrated Anas bin Malik:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to a man among his Companions: "Have you married O so-and-so?" He said: "No by Allah O Messenger of Allah! And I do not have anything to marry with." He said: "Do you not know: Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad?" He said: "Of course." He said: "It is a third of the Qur'an." He said: "Do you not know Idha Ja Nasrullahi Wal-Fath?" He said: "Of course." He said: "It is a fourth of the Qur'an." He said: "Do you not know Qul Ya Ayyuhal-Kafirun?" He said: "Of course." He said: "It is a fourth of the Qur'an." He said: "Do you not know Idha Zulzilat Al-Ard?" He said: "Of course." He said: "It is a fourth of the Qur'an." He said: "Marry, marry."
Hadith 3512
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ وَرْدَانَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَيُّ الدُّعَاءِ أَفْضَلُ ؟ ، قَالَ : " سَلْ رَبَّكَ الْعَافِيَةَ ، وَالْمُعَافَاةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ " ، ثُمَّ أَتَاهُ فِي الْيَوْمِ الثَّانِي ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَيُّ الدُّعَاءِ أَفْضَلُ ؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ : " مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ " ، ثُمَّ أَتَاهُ فِي الْيَوْمِ الثَّالِثِ : فَقَالَ لَهُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ، قَالَ : " فَإِذَا أُعْطِيتَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَأُعْطِيتَهَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ فَقَدْ أَفْلَحْتَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ وَرْدَانَ .
´Anas bin Malik narrated that a man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said:` “O Messenger of Allah, which supplication is the best?” He (ﷺ) said: “Ask Your Lord For Al-`Āfiyah and Al-Mu`āfāh in this world and in the Hereafter.” Then he came to him on the second day and said: “O Messenger of Allah, which supplication is the best?” So he (ﷺ) said to him similar to that. Then he came to him on the third day, so he (ﷺ) said to him similar to that. He (ﷺ) said: “So when you have been given Al-`Āfiyah in this world, and you have been given it in the Hereafter, then you have succeeded.”
Hadith 3915
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُبَاتَةَ يُونُسُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ نُبَاتَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ وَرْدَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُعَلَّى، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَا : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا بَيْنَ بَيْتِي وَمِنْبَرِي رَوْضَةٌ مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ، مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَلِيٍّ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
´Narrated 'Ali bin Abi Talib and Abu Hurairah:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whatever is between my house and my Minbar is a garden from the gardens of Paradise."
