Hadith 928
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا غِرَارَ فِي صَلَاةٍ وَلَا تَسْلِيمٍ " . قَالَ أَحْمَدُ : يَعْنِي فِيمَا أَرَى أَنْ لَا تُسَلِّمَ وَلَا يُسَلَّمَ عَلَيْكَ ، وَيُغَرِّرُ الرَّجُلُ بِصَلَاتِهِ فَيَنْصَرِفُ وَهُوَ فِيهَا شَاكٌّ .
Abu Hurairah reported the Prophet ﷺ as saying: There is no loss in prayer nor in salutation. Ahmad (b. Hanbal) said: This means, I think, that you do not salute nor you are saluted by others. The loss of a man in his prayer is that a man remains doubtful about it when he finishes it.
Hadith 929
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : أُرَاهُ رَفَعَهُ ، قَالَ : " لَا غِرَارَ فِي تَسْلِيمٍ وَلَا صَلَاةٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد : وَرَوَاهُ ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَلَى لَفْظِ ابْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ .
Abu Hurairah reported the Prophet ﷺ as saying: There is no loss in salutation and in prayer. Abu Dawud said: According to the version of Ibn Mahdi, this tradition has been narrated by Ibn Fudail as a statement of Abu Hurairah and not as a saying of the Prophet ﷺ
Hadith 1256
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " قَرَأَ فِي رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ وَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ " .
Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet ﷺ would recite in both rak'ahs of the dawn prayer: "Say, O unbelievers" and "Say: He is Allah, the one"
Hadith 2141
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّازِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا دَعَا الرَّجُلُ امْرَأَتَهُ إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ فَأَبَتْ فَلَمْ تَأْتِهِ ، فَبَاتَ غَضْبَانَ عَلَيْهَا ، لَعَنَتْهَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى تُصْبِحَ " .
Abu Hurairah reported the Prophet ﷺ as saying “When a man calls his wife to come to his bed and she refuses and does not come to him and he spends the night angry, the angels curse her till the morning. ”
Hadith 2955
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِوَرَثَتِهِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ كَلًّا فَإِلَيْنَا " .
Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: If anyone leaves property, it goes to his heirs. And if anyone leaves dependents (without resources), they come to us.
Hadith 3234
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَنْبَارِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيَسَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " أَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْرَ أُمِّهِ ، فَبَكَى وَأَبْكَى مَنْ حَوْلَهُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : اسْتَأْذَنْتُ رَبِّي تَعَالَى عَلَى أَنْ أَسْتَغْفِرَ لَهَا ، فَلَمْ يُؤْذَنْ لِي ، فَاسْتَأْذَنْتُ أَنْ أَزُورَ قَبْرَهَا ، فَأَذِنَ لِي ، فَزُورُوا الْقُبُورَ ، فَإِنَّهَا تُذَكِّرُ بِالْمَوْتِ " .
Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited his mother's grave and wept and cause those around him to weep. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: I asked my Lord's permission to pray for forgiveness for her, but I was not allowed. I then asked His permission to visit her grave, and I was allowed. So visit graves, for they make one mindful of death.
Hadith 3425
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا حَازِمٍ ، سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ كَسْبِ الْإِمَاءِ " .
Narrated Abu Hurairah: That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade earnings of slave-girls.
Hadith 3763
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " مَا عَابَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَعَامًا قَطُّ إِنِ اشْتَهَاهُ أَكَلَهُ وَإِنْ كَرِهَهُ تَرَكَهُ " .
Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never expressed disapproval of food; if he desired it, he ate it, and if he disliked it, he left it alone.
Hadith 4914
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْبَزَّازُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ فَمَنْ هَجَرَ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ فَمَاتَ دَخَلَ النَّارَ " .
Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet ﷺ said: It is not allowable for a Muslim to keep apart from his brother for more than three days, for one who does so and dies will enter Hell.
