Hadith 3138
حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا
سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ
ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ
مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ
أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ
ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ : " دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَكَّةَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ وَحَوْلَ الْكَعْبَةِ ثَلَاثُ مِائَةٍ وَسِتُّونَ نُصُبًا ، فَجَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَطْعَنُهَا بِمِخْصَرَةٍ فِي يَدِهِ وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ بِعُودٍ وَيَقُولُ : " جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا سورة الإسراء آية 81 جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَمَا يُبْدِئُ الْبَاطِلُ وَمَا يُعِيدُ سورة سبأ آية 49 " ، قَالَ : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَفِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ .
´Narrated Ibn Mas'ud:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered Makkah during the year of the Conquest, and there were three hundred and sixty Nusb (Altars to sacrifice to idols) around the Ka'bah. So the Prophet (ﷺ) started hitting them with a stick he had in his hand" - or perhaps he said: "With a piece of wood, and he was saying: The truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Surely falsehood is ever bound to vanish (17:81). The truth has come and falsehood can neither originate anything nor resurrect (anything) (34:49)."
Hadith 3147
حَدَّثَنَا

مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ
عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ، عَنْ
زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِحُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ " أَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ ؟ ، قَالَ : لَا ، قُلْتُ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : أَنْتَ تَقُولُ ذَاكَ يَا أَصْلَعُ ، بِمَ تَقُولُ ذَلِكَ ؟ قُلْتُ : بِالْقُرْآنِ ، بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ الْقُرْآنُ ، فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ : مَنِ احْتَجَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ فَقَدْ أَفْلَحَ ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : يَقُولُ فَقَدِ احْتَجَّ وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ قَدْ فَلَجَ ، فَقَالَ : سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَى بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلا مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الأَقْصَى سورة الإسراء آية 1 ، قَالَ : أَفَتُرَاهُ صَلَّى فِيهِ ؟ قُلْتُ : لَا ، قَالَ : لَوْ صَلَّى فِيهِ لَكُتِبَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الصَّلَاةُ فِيهِ كَمَا كُتِبَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ ، قَالَ
حُذَيْفَةُ : أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِدَابَّةٍ طَوِيلَةِ الظَّهْرِ مَمْدُودَةٍ هَكَذَا خَطْوُهُ مَدُّ بَصَرِهِ ، فَمَا زَايَلَا ظَهْرَ الْبُرَاقِ حَتَّى رَأَيَا الْجَنَّةَ وَالنَّارَ ، وَوَعْدَ الْآخِرَةِ أَجْمَعَ ثُمَّ رَجَعَا عَوْدَهُمَا عَلَى بَدْئِهِمَا ، قَالَ : وَيَتَحَدَّثُونَ أَنَّهُ رَبَطَهُ لِمَ أَيَفِرُّ مِنْهُ وَإِنَّمَا سَخَّرَهُ لَهُ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Narrated Zirr bin Hubaish:` "I said to Hudhaifah bin Al-Yaman: 'Did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) perform Salat in Bait Al-Maqdis?' He said: 'No.' I said: 'But he did.' He said: 'You say that, O bald one! Based upon what do you say that?' I said: 'Based upon the Qur'an, (the Judge) between you and I is the Qur'an.' So Hudhaifah said: 'Whoever argues using the Qur'an, then he has indeed succeeded.'" (One of the narrators) Sufyan said: "He means: 'He has indeed proven'" - and perhaps he (Sufyan) said: "He triumphed." He (Zirr) said: "Glorified is He Who took His slave for a journey by night from Al-Masjid Al-Haram to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa (17:1).' He (Hudhaifah) said: 'Do you see (this proves that) he (ﷺ) performed Salat in it?' I said: 'No.' He said: 'If he had performed Salat in it, then it would have been required upon you that you perform Salat in it, just as it is required that you perform Salat in Al-Masjid Al-Haram.' Hudhaifah said: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was brought a beast with a long back - stretching out like this - one stride of it, is as far as his vision. So, the two of them remained upon the back of Al-Buraq until they saw Paradise and the Fire, and all of what has been prepared for the Hereafter, then they returned back to where they began.' He said: 'They say that he was fettered, but for what? Because he might flee? The Knower of the unseen and the witness subdued him.'"

أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ
أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَا سَيِّدُ وَلَدِ آدَمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا فَخْرَ ، وَبِيَدِي لِوَاءُ الْحَمْدِ وَلَا فَخْرَ ، وَمَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ يَوْمَئِذٍ آدَمُ فَمَنْ سِوَاهُ إِلَّا تَحْتَ لِوَائِي ، وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ مَنْ تَنْشَقُّ عَنْهُ الْأَرْضُ وَلَا فَخْرَ ، قَالَ : فَيَفْزَعُ النَّاسُ ثَلَاثَ فَزَعَاتٍ ، فَيَأْتُونَ آدَمَ ، فَيَقُولُونَ : أَنْتَ أَبُونَا آدَمُ فَاشْفَعْ لَنَا إِلَى رَبِّكَ ، فَيَقُولُ : إِنِّي أَذْنَبْتُ ذَنْبًا أُهْبِطْتُ مِنْهُ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ ، وَلَكِنْ ائْتُوا نُوحًا ، فَيَأْتُونَ نُوحًا ، فَيَقُولُ : إِنِّي دَعَوْتُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ دَعْوَةً فَأُهْلِكُوا ، وَلَكِنْ اذْهَبُوا إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، فَيَأْتُونَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، فَيَقُولُ : إِنِّي كَذَبْتُ ثَلَاثَ كَذِبَاتٍ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَا مِنْهَا كَذِبَةٌ إِلَّا مَا حَلَّ بِهَا عَنْ دِينِ اللَّهِ وَلَكِنْ ائْتُوا مُوسَى ، فَيَأْتُونَ مُوسَى ، فَيَقُولُ : إِنِّي قَدْ قَتَلْتُ نَفْسًا ، وَلَكِنْ ائْتُوا عِيسَى ، فَيَأْتُونَ عِيسَى فَيَقُولُ : إِنِّي عُبِدْتُ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ ، وَلَكِنْ ائْتُوا مُحَمَّدًا ، قَالَ : فَيَأْتُونَنِي فَأَنْطَلِقُ مَعَهُمْ ، قَالَ ابْنُ جُدْعَانَ : قَالَ أَنَسٌ : فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : فَآخُذُ بِحَلْقَةِ بَابِ الْجَنَّةِ فَأُقَعْقِعُهَا ، فَيُقَالُ : مَنْ هَذَا ؟ فَيُقَالُ : مُحَمَّدٌ فَيَفْتَحُونَ لِي وَيُرَحِّبُونَ بِي ، فَيَقُولُونَ : مَرْحَبًا ، فَأَخِرُّ سَاجِدًا فَيُلْهِمُنِي اللَّهُ مِنَ الثَّنَاءِ وَالْحَمْدِ ، فَيُقَالُ لِي : ارْفَعْ رَأْسَكَ سَلْ تُعْطَ ، وَاشْفَعْ تُشَفَّعْ وَقُلْ يُسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِكَ وَهُوَ الْمَقَامُ الْمَحْمُودُ الَّذِي قَالَ اللَّهُ : عَسَى أَنْ يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا سورة الإسراء آية 79 " ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : لَيْسَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ إِلَّا هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةُ فَآخُذُ بِحَلْقَةِ بَابِ الْجَنَّةِ فَأُقَعْقِعُهَا ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ ، وَقَدْ رَوَى بَعْضُهُمْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ
أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنِ
ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ . .
´Narrated Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "I am the chief of the children of Adam on the Day of Judgement and I am not boasting, and in my hand is the banner of praise and I am not boasting, and there has been no Prophet since Adam or other than him, except that he is under my banner. And I am the first for whom the earth will split open, and I am not boasting." He said: "The people will be frightened by three frights. So they will come to Adam saying: 'You are our father Adam, so intercede for us with your Lord.' So he says: 'I committed a sin for which I was expelled to the earth, so go to Nuh.' So they will come to Nuh and he will say: 'I supplicated against the people of the earth, so they were destroyed. So go to Ibrahim.' So they will go to Ibrahim, and he says: 'I lied three times.'" Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "He did not lie except defending Allah's religion." "So go to Musa.' So they will come to Musa, and he will say: 'I took a life. So go to 'Eisa. So they go to 'Eisa and he says: 'I was worshiped besides Allah. So go to Muhammad (ﷺ).'" He said: "So they will come to me, and I will go to them." (One of the narrators) Ibn Ju'dan said: "Anas said: 'It is as if I am looking at the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and he is saying: "So I will take hold of a ring of a gate of Paradise to rattle it, and it will be said: 'Who is there?' It will be said: 'Muhammad.' They will open it for me, and welcome me saying, 'Welcome.' I will fall prostrate and Allah will inspire me with statements of gratitude and praise and it will be said to me: 'Raise your head, ask and you shall be given, intercede, and your intercession shall be accepted, speak, and your saying shall be heard.' And that is Al-Maqam Al-Mahmud about which Allah said: It may be that your Lord will raise you to Maqaman-Mahmud (17:79)." Sufyan said: "None of it is from Anas except this sentence: 'I will take hold of a ring of a gate of Paradise to rattle it.'"

عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ
سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ
لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : إِنَّ نَوْفًا الْبِكَالِيَّ يَزْعُمُ أَنَّ مُوسَى صَاحِبَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَيْسَ بِمُوسَى صَاحِبِ الْخَضِرِ ، قَالَ : كَذَبَ عَدُوُّ اللَّهِ ، سَمِعْتُ
أُبَيَّ بْنَ كَعْبٍ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " قَامَ مُوسَى خَطِيبًا فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فَسُئِلَ أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَعْلَمُ ؟ فَقَالَ : أَنَا أَعْلَمُ فَعَتَبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ إِذْ لَمْ يَرُدَّ الْعِلْمَ إِلَيْهِ ، فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّ عَبْدًا مِنْ عِبَادِي بِمَجْمَعِ الْبَحْرَيْنِ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ مِنْكَ ، قَالَ : أَيْ رَبِّ فَكَيْفَ لِي بِهِ ؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ : احْمِلْ حُوتًا فِي مِكْتَلٍ فَحَيْثُ تَفْقِدُ الْحُوتَ فَهُوَ ثَمَّ فَانْطَلَقَ وَانْطَلَقَ مَعَهُ فَتَاهُ وَهُوَ يُوشَعُ بْنُ نُونٍ فَجَعَلَ وَيُقًالُ يُوسَعُ ، فَحَمَلَ مُوسَى حُوتًا فِي مِكْتَلٍ ، فَانْطَلَقَ هُوَ وَفَتَاهُ يَمْشِيَانِ حَتَّى أَتَيَا الصَّخْرَةَ ، فَرَقَدَ مُوسَى وَفَتَاهُ فَاضْطَرَبَ الْحُوتُ فِي الْمِكْتَلِ حَتَّى خَرَجَ مِنَ الْمِكْتَلِ فَسَقَطَ فِي الْبَحْرِ ، قَالَ : وَأَمْسَكَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ جِرْيَةَ الْمَاءِ ، حَتَّى كَانَ مِثْلَ الطَّاقِ وَكَانَ لِلْحُوتِ سَرَبًا ، وَكَانَ لِمُوسَى وَلِفَتَاهُ عَجَبًا ، فَانْطَلَقَا بَقِيَّةَ يَوْمِهِمَا وَلَيْلَتِهِمَا وَنُسِّيَ صَاحِبُ مُوسَى أَنْ يُخْبِرَهُ ، فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ مُوسَى قَالَ لِفَتَاهُ : آتِنَا غَدَاءَنَا لَقَدْ لَقِينَا مِنْ سَفَرِنَا هَذَا نَصَبًا سورة الكهف آية 62 ، قَالَ : وَلَمْ يَنْصَبْ حَتَّى جَاوَزَ الْمَكَانَ الَّذِي أُمِرَ بِهِ قَالَ أَرَأَيْتَ إِذْ أَوَيْنَا إِلَى الصَّخْرَةِ فَإِنِّي نَسِيتُ الْحُوتَ وَمَا أَنْسَانِيهُ إِلا الشَّيْطَانُ أَنْ أَذْكُرَهُ وَاتَّخَذَ سَبِيلَهُ فِي الْبَحْرِ عَجَبًا سورة الكهف آية 63 قَالَ مُوسَى : ذَلِكَ مَا كُنَّا نَبْغِ فَارْتَدَّا عَلَى آثَارِهِمَا قَصَصًا سورة الكهف آية 64 ، قَالَ : فَكَانَا يَقُصَّانِ آثَارَهُمَا ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : يَزْعُمُ نَاسٌ أَنَّ تِلْكَ الصَّخْرَةَ عِنْدَهَا عَيْنُ الْحَيَاةِ وَلَا يُصِيبُ مَاؤُهَا مَيِّتًا إِلَّا عَاشَ ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ الْحُوتُ قَدْ أُكِلَ مِنْهُ فَلَمَّا قُطِرَ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءُ عَاشَ ، قَالَ : فَقَصَّا آثَارَهُمَا حَتَّى أَتَيَا الصَّخْرَةَ ، فَرَأَى رَجُلًا مُسَجًّى عَلَيْهِ بِثَوْبٍ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ مُوسَى ، فَقَالَ : أَنَّى بِأَرْضِكَ السَّلَامُ ، قَالَ : أَنَا مُوسَى ، قَالَ : مُوسَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : يَا مُوسَى إِنَّكَ عَلَى عِلْمٍ مِنْ عِلْمِ اللَّهِ عَلَّمَكَهُ لَا أَعْلَمُهُ وَأَنَا عَلَى عِلْمٍ مِنْ عِلْمِ اللَّهِ عَلَّمَنِيهِ لَا تَعْلَمُهُ ، فَقَالَ مُوسَى : هَلْ أَتَّبِعُكَ عَلَى أَنْ تُعَلِّمَنِ مِمَّا عُلِّمْتَ رُشْدًا { 66 } قَالَ إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَسْتَطِيعَ مَعِيَ صَبْرًا { 67 } وَكَيْفَ تَصْبِرُ عَلَى مَا لَمْ تُحِطْ بِهِ خُبْرًا { 68 } قَالَ سَتَجِدُنِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ صَابِرًا وَلا أَعْصِي لَكَ أَمْرًا { 69 } سورة الكهف آية 66-69 قَالَ لَهُ الْخَضِرُ : فَإِنِ اتَّبَعْتَنِي فَلا تَسْأَلْنِي عَنْ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى أُحْدِثَ لَكَ مِنْهُ ذِكْرًا سورة الكهف آية 70 قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، فَانْطَلَقَ الْخَضِرُ وَمُوسَى يَمْشِيَانِ عَلَى سَاحِلِ الْبَحْرِ ، فَمَرَّتْ بِهِمَا سَفِينَةٌ فَكَلَّمَاهُمْ أَنْ يَحْمِلُوهُمَا فَعَرَفُوا الْخَضِرَ فَحَمَلُوهُمَا بِغَيْرِ نَوْلٍ ، فَعَمَدَ الْخَضِرُ إِلَى لَوْحٍ مِنْ أَلْوَاحِ السَّفِينَةِ فَنَزَعَهُ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ مُوسَى : قَوْمٌ حَمَلُونَا بِغَيْرِ نَوْلٍ عَمَدْتَ إِلَى سَفِينَتِهِمْ فَخَرَقْتَهَالِتُغْرِقَ أَهْلَهَا لَقَدْ جِئْتَ شَيْئًا إِمْرًا { 71 } قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُلْ إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَسْتَطِيعَ مَعِيَ صَبْرًا { 72 } قَالَ لا تُؤَاخِذْنِي بِمَا نَسِيتُ وَلا تُرْهِقْنِي مِنْ أَمْرِي عُسْرًا { 73 } سورة الكهف آية 71-73 ثُمَّ خَرَجَا مِنَ السَّفِينَةِ فَبَيْنَمَا هُمَا يَمْشِيَانِ عَلَى السَّاحِلِ وَإِذَا غُلَامٌ يَلْعَبُ مَعَ الْغِلْمَانِ فَأَخَذَ الْخَضِرُ بِرَأْسِهِ فَاقْتَلَعَهُ بِيَدِهِ فَقَتَلَهُ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ مُوسَى : أَقَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا زَكِيَّةً بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ لَقَدْ جِئْتَ شَيْئًا نُكْرًا { 74 } قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُلْ لَكَ إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَسْتَطِيعَ مَعِيَ صَبْرًا { 75 } سورة الكهف آية 74-75 ، قَالَ : وَهَذِهِ أَشَدُّ مِنَ الْأُولَى قَالَ إِنْ سَأَلْتُكَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدَهَا فَلا تُصَاحِبْنِي قَدْ بَلَغْتَ مِنْ لَدُنِّي عُذْرًا { 76 } فَانْطَلَقَا حَتَّى إِذَا أَتَيَا أَهْلَ قَرْيَةٍ اسْتَطْعَمَا أَهْلَهَا فَأَبَوْا أَنْ يُضَيِّفُوهُمَا فَوَجَدَا فِيهَا جِدَارًا يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَنْقَضَّ سورة الكهف آية 76 ـ 77 ، يَقُولُ : مَائِلٌ ، فَقَالَ الْخَضِرُ بِيَدِهِ هَكَذَا فَأَقَامَهُ سورة الكهف آية 77 فَقَالَ لَهُ مُوسَى قَوْمٌ أَتَيْنَاهُمْ فَلَمْ يُضَيِّفُونَا وَلَمْ يُطْعِمُونَا لَوْ شِئْتَ لاتَّخَذْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا { 77 } قَالَ هَذَا فِرَاقُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنِكَ سَأُنَبِّئُكَ بِتَأْوِيلِ مَا لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ عَلَيْهِ صَبْرًا { 78 } سورة الكهف آية 77-78 ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ مُوسَى لَوَدِدْنَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ صَبَرَ حَتَّى يَقُصَّ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ أَخْبَارِهِمَا ، قَالَ : وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : الْأُولَى كَانَتْ مِنْ مُوسَى نِسْيَانٌ ، قَالَ : وَجَاءَ عُصْفُورٌ حَتَّى وَقَعَ عَلَى حَرْفِ السَّفِينَةِ ثُمَّ نَقَرَ فِي الْبَحْرِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ الْخَضِرُ : مَا نَقَصَ عِلْمِي وَعِلْمُكَ مِنْ عِلْمِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا مِثْلُ مَا نَقَصَ هَذَا الْعُصْفُورُ مِنَ الْبَحْرِ ، قَالَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ : وَكَانَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقْرَأُ ، وَكَانَ أَمَامَهُمْ مَلِكٌ يَأْخُذُ كُلَّ سَفِينَةٍ أَبُو إِسْحَاق الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، عَنْ
سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ
ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ
أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : سَمِعْت أَبَا مُزَاحِمٍ السَّمَرْقَنْدِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ الْمَدِينِيِّ ، يَقُولُ : حَجَجْتُ حَجَّةً وَلَيْسَ لِي هِمَّةٌ إِلَّا أَنْ أَسْمَعَ مِنْ سُفْيَانَ يَذْكُرُ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ الْخَبَرَ حَتَّى سَمِعْتُهُ ، يَقُولُ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ وَقَدْ كُنْتُ سَمِعْتُ هَذَا مِنْ سُفْيَانَ مِنْ قَبْلِ ذَلِكَ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ الْخَبَرَ .
´Narrated Sa'eed bin Jubair:` "I said to Ibn 'Abbas: 'Nawf Al-Bikali claims that Musa, of Banu Isra'il is not the companion of Al-Khidr. He said: 'The enemy of Allah has lied. I heard Ubayy bin Ka'b saying: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say 'Musa stood to deliver a Khutbah to the children of Isra'il. He was asked: "Who is the most knowledgeable among the people?" He said: "I am the most knowledgeable." So Allah admonished him, since he did not refer the knowledge back to Him. Allah revealed to him: "A slave, among My slaves at the junction of the two seas, is more knowledgeable than you." So Musa said: "O Lord! How can I meet him?" He said to him: "Carry a fish in a basket, wherever you lose the fish, then he is there." So he set off, and his boy set off with him - and he was Yusha' bin Nun. Musa put a fish in a basket, he and the boy set off walking, until when they reached a rock, Musa and his boy fell asleep. The fish was flopping around in the basket, falling into the sea.' He said: 'Allah held back the flow of water until it was like a tunnel, and the fish could glide. Musa and his boy were amazed. They set off the remainder of the day and the night, and Musa's companion forgot to inform him (of the escape of the fish). When Musa arose in the morning, he said to his boy: Bring us our morning meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue in this, our journey (18:62).' He said: 'He had not gotten tired until he passed the place which Allah had ordered him to go. He said: Do you remember when we betook ourselves to the rock? I indeed forgot the fish, none but Shaitan made me forget to remember it. It took its course into the sea in a strange way (18:63). Musa said: That is what we have been seeking. So they went back, retracing their tracks (18:64). He said: 'So they began retracing their tracks.'" Sufyan (one of the narrators) said: "People claim that there is a spring of life at that rock, no dying person has its water poured over him, but he becomes alive, and the fish came in contact with some of it, so when the water dropped on it he became alive." "He [the Prophet (ﷺ)] said: 'They retraced their tracks until they arrived at the rock to see a man covered in a garment. Musa greeted him, and he replied: Is there such a greeting in your land? He said: I am Musa. He said: Musa of the children of Isra'il? He said: Yes. He said: O Musa! Indeed you have some knowledge from Allah, which Allah taught you, which I have not been taught, and I have some knowledge from Allah, which Allah taught me, which you have not been taught.' So Musa said: May I follow you so that you may teach me something of the knowledge which you have been taught? (18:66) He said: Verily, you will not be able to have patience with me! And how can you have patience about a thing which you know not? He said: If Allah wills, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you at all (18:67-69). Al-Khadir said to him: Then if you follow me, ask me not about anything until I myself mention it to you (18:70). Musa said: Yes. So Musa and Al-Khadir set off walking along the shore of the sea. A boat was passing by them, and they spoke to them (the crew) asking them to let them get on board. They recognized Al-Khadir so they let the two of them ride without charge. Al-Khadir took one of the planks (in the boat) and removed it, so Musa said to him: These people gave us a ride free of charge, yet you sabotaged their boat so that its people will drown. Indeed you have done a dreadful thing (18:71). He said: Did I not tell you that you would not be able to have patience with me? (18:72). He said call me not to account for what I forgot, and be not hard upon me for my affair (18:73). Then they exited the boat, and while they were walking upon the shore, they saw a boy playing with two other boys. So Al-Khadir took him by his head, pulling it off with his hands, and he killed him. So Musa said to him: Have you killed an innocent person who killed no one! Verily you have done a horrendous thing (18:74). He said: Did I not tell you that you would not be able to have patience with me? (18:75) - he (the narrator) said: - "This was more severe than the first one" - He said: If I ask you about anything after this, you have received an excuse from me. So they both proceeded until they came to the inhabitants of a town. They asked them for food but they refused to entertain them. There they found a wall on the verge of falling down (18:76 & 77). He (the narrator) said: - meaning leaning over - 'So Al-Khadir took his hand like this, so he set it up straight (18:77) so Musa said to him: We arrived at these people, they did not treat us as guests nor feed us. If you wished, surely you could have taken wages for it! He said: "This is the parting between you and I. I will tell you the interpretation of (those) things over which you were not able to be patient (18:77 & 78).'" The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'May Allah have mercy upon Musa! We wish that he would have had patience, so that we could have more knowledge about that two of them.' He said: 'So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The first time Musa had forgotten.' He said: 'And a sparrow came, until it perched on the edge of a boat, and pecked at the sea. So Al-Khadir said to him: My knowledge and your knowledge do not diminish anything from the knowledge of Allah, but like what this sparrow diminishes of the sea.' Sa'eed bin Jubair said: "and he would" - meaning Ibn 'Abbas - "recite: 'And there was before them a king who would take every useful boat by force (18:79).' And he would recite: 'As for the boy, he was a disbeliever (18:80).'"
Hadith 3162

مَسْرُوقٍ، قَال : سَمِعْتُ
خَبَّابَ بْنَ الْأَرَتِّ، يَقُولُ : " جِئْتُ الْعَاصِي بْنَ وَائِلٍ السَّهْمِيَّ أَتَقَاضَاهُ حَقًّا لِي عِنْدَهُ ، فَقَالَ : لَا أُعْطِيكَ حَتَّى تَكْفُرَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ ، فَقُلْتُ : لَا حَتَّى تَمُوتَ ثُمَّ تُبْعَثَ ، قَالَ : وَإِنِّي لَمَيِّتٌ ثُمَّ مَبْعُوثٌ ؟ فَقُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ لِي هُنَاكَ مَالًا وَوَلَدًا فَأَقْضِيكَ فَنَزَلَتْ : أَفَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي كَفَرَ بِآيَاتِنَا وَقَالَ لأُوتَيَنَّ مَالا وَوَلَدًا سورة مريم آية 77 الْآيَةَ " .
´Narrated Masruq:` "I heard Khabbab bin Al-Aratt saying: 'I came to Al-'As bin Wa'il As-Sahmi to collect a debt he owed me. He said: 'You shall not be given anything until you deny Muhammad.' So I said: 'No, not until you are dead and resurrected.' He said: 'After I die and I am resurrected?' So I said: 'Yes.' So he said: 'I shall indeed have wealth and offspring to repay you with.' So (the following) Ayah was revealed: Have you seen him who disbelieved in Our Ayat and said: I shall certainly be given wealth and children (19:77).'"

الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ
عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ : يَأَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّ زَلْزَلَةَ السَّاعَةِ شَيْءٌ عَظِيمٌ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ وَلَكِنَّ عَذَابَ اللَّهِ شَدِيدٌ سورة الحج آية 1 ـ 2 قَالَ : أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ وَهُوَ فِي سَفَرٍ ، فَقَالَ : " أَتَدْرُونَ أَيُّ يَوْمٍ ذَلِكَ ؟ " فَقَالُوا : اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ ، قَالَ : " ذَلِكَ يَوْمَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ لِآدَمَ ابْعَثْ بَعْثَ النَّارِ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَبِّ ، وَمَا بَعْثُ النَّارِ ؟ قَالَ : تِسْعُ مِائَةٍ وَتِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ إِلَى النَّارِ وَوَاحِدٌ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ " ، قَالَ : فَأَنْشَأَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ يَبْكُونَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " قَارِبُوا وَسَدِّدُوا فَإِنَّهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ نُبُوَّةٌ قَطُّ إِلَّا كَانَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا جَاهِلِيَّةٌ " ، قَالَ : فَيُؤْخَذُ الْعَدَدُ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَإِنْ تَمَّتْ ، وَإِلَّا كَمُلَتْ مِنَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ ، وَمَا مَثَلُكُمْ وَالْأُمَمِ إِلَّا كَمَثَلِ الرَّقْمَةِ فِي ذِرَاعِ الدَّابَّةِ ، أَوْ كَالشَّامَةِ فِي جَنْبِ الْبَعِيرِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونُوا رُبْعَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، فَكَبَّرُوا " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونُوا ثُلُثَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، فَكَبَّرُوا " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونُوا نِصْفَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، فَكَبَّرُوا " ، قَالَ : لَا أَدْرِي ، قَالَ : الثُّلُثَيْنِ أَمْ لَا ، قَالَ : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، قَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
´Narrated 'Imran bin Husain:` when (the following) was revealed: "O mankind! Have Taqwa of your Lord! Verily the earthquake of the hour is a terrible thing..." up to His saying: "But Allah's torment is severe...(22:1 & 2)" - he said: "These Ayat were revealed while he (ﷺ) was on a journey and he said: 'Do you know what Day this is?' So they said: 'Allah and His Messenger know better.' He said: 'That is the day when Allah says to Adam: Send forth those who are to be sent to the Fire. So he says: O Lord! How many are to be sent? He says: Nine-hundred and ninety-nine in the Fire, and one to Paradise. He said: "So the Muslims started crying. Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Close your ranks and be straight forward, for there was never any Prophethood but there was a time of ignorance just before his advent, so the number will be taken from that time of ignorance, and if that is not enough, it will be made up of the hypocrites. The parable of you and the other nations is that you are like a mark on the foreleg of an animal, or a mole on the flank of a camel.' Then he said: 'I hope that you will be a quarter of the people of Paradise.' They said: Allahu Akbar. Then he said: 'I hope that you will be a third of the people of Paradise.' They said: Allahu Akbar. Then he said: 'I hope that you will be half of the people of Paradise.' They said: Allahu Akbar." He said: "I do not know if he said two thirds or not."
Hadith 3175

مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ
عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ، أَنَّ
عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَتْ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ : وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْتُونَ مَا آتَوْا وَقُلُوبُهُمْ وَجِلَةٌ سورة المؤمنون آية 60 ، قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : أَهُمُ الَّذِينَ يَشْرَبُونَ الْخَمْرَ وَيَسْرِقُونَ ؟ قَالَ : " لَا يَا بِنْتَ الصِّدِّيقِ وَلَكِنَّهُمُ الَّذِينَ يَصُومُونَ وَيُصَلُّونَ وَيَتَصَدَّقُونَ وَهُمْ يَخَافُونَ أَنْ لَا يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ ، أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَهُمْ لَهَا سَابِقُونَ " ، قَالَ : وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ هَذَا .
´Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin [Sa'eed bin] Wahb - that is Al-Hamdani:` that 'Aishah the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "I asked about the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about this Ayah: And those who give that which they give with their hearts full of fear... (23:60)" 'Aishah said: "Are they those who drink Khamr and steal?" He said: "No, O daughter of As-Siddiq. They are those who fast, perform Salat, give charity while they fear that their Lord will not accept it from them: It is these who hasten to do good deeds, and they are the foremost of them (23:61)."
Hadith 3197

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى : أَعْدَدْتُ لِعِبَادِيَ الصَّالِحِينَ مَا لَا عَيْنٌ رَأَتْ ، وَلَا أُذُنٌ سَمِعَتْ ، وَلَا خَطَرَ عَلَى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ ، وَتَصْدِيقُ ذَلِكَ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : فَلا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ سورة السجدة آية 17 " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Narrated Abu Hurairah:` that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Allah Most High said: 'I have prepared for My righteous worshipers what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has conceived.'" And that is testified to in Allah's [the Mighty and Sublime] Book: No person knows what is kept hidden for them of delights of the eyes (32:17).
Hadith 3198
حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا
سُفْيَانُ عَنْ
مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ طَرِيفٍ،
وَعَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبْجَرَ، سَمِعَا
الشَّعْبِيَّ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ
الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ ، يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام سَأَلَ رَبَّهُ ، فَقَالَ : أَيْ رَبِّ ، أَيُّ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ أَدْنَى مَنْزِلَةً ؟ قَالَ : رَجُلٌ يَأْتِي بَعْدَمَا يَدْخُلُ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ الْجَنَّةَ ، فَيُقَالُ لَهُ : ادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ ، فَيَقُولُ : كَيْفَ أَدْخُلُ وَقَدْ نَزَلُوا مَنَازِلَهُمْ وَأَخَذُوا أَخَذَاتِهِمْ ؟ قَالَ : فَيُقَالُ لَهُ : أَتَرْضَى أَنْ يَكُونَ لَكَ مَا كَانَ لِمَلِكٍ مِنْ مُلُوكِ الدُّنْيَا ؟ فَيَقُولُ : نَعَمْ ، أَيْ رَبِّ قَدْ رَضِيتُ ، فَيُقَالُ لَهُ : فَإِنَّ لَكَ هَذَا وَمِثْلَهُ وَمِثْلَهُ وَمِثْلَهُ ، فَيَقُولُ : رَضِيتُ أَيْ رَبِّ ، فَيُقَالُ لَهُ : فَإِنَّ لَكَ هَذَا وَعَشْرَةَ أَمْثَالِهِ ، فَيَقُولُ : رَضِيتُ أَيْ رَبِّ ، فَيُقَالُ لَهُ : فَإِنَّ لَكَ مَعَ هَذَا مَا اشْتَهَتْ نَفْسُكَ وَلَذَّتْ عَيْنُكَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَرَوَى بَعْضُهُمْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ ، وَالْمَرْفُوعُ أَصَحُّ .
´Narrated Ash-Sha'bi:` "While he was on the Minbar, I heard Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah saying - and he attributed it to the Prophet (ﷺ) - 'Indeed Musa [peace be upon him] asked his Lord: "O Lord! Who is the lowest in rank among the people of Paradise?" He said: "A man who comes after the people of Paradise have been admitted to Paradise, and he is told to enter. He says: 'How can I enter when they have gotten all of their abodes, and all that is to be had?'" He said: "So it is said to him: 'Would you accept if you were to have what a king in the world?' He says: 'Yes, O Lord! I accept.' So it is said to him: 'Then for you is this and its like, and its like again, and its like again.' So he says: 'I accept, O Lord!' So it is said to him: 'Then for you is this and ten the like thereof.' So he says: 'I accept, O Lord!' So it is said: 'Indeed you shall have this, and whatever your soul desires, and whatever delights your eyes.'"
Hadith 3216
´Narrated 'Aishah:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not die until the women had been made lawful for him."
Hadith 3223
حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا
سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ
عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ
عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ فِي السَّمَاءِ أَمْرًا ضَرَبَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ بِأَجْنِحَتِهَا خُضْعَانًا لِقَوْلِهِ ، كَأَنَّهَا سِلْسِلَةٌ عَلَى صَفْوَانٍ ، فَإِذَا فُزِّعَ عَنْ قُلُوبِهِمْ ، قَالُوا : مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ ؟ قَالُوا : الْحَقَّ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ ، قَالَ : وَالشَّيَاطِينُ بَعْضُهُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Narrated Abu Hurairah:` that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When Allah decrees a matter in the Heavens, the angels beat their wings in submission to His saying, (sounding) as if it is a chain (being dragged) upon a rock. When the fear resides from their hearts, they say (to each other): 'What did your Lord say?' They reply: 'The truth, and He is the Most High the Great (34:23).' He said: 'And the Shayatin are one atop another.'"
Hadith 3236
´Narrated 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair:` from his father who said: "When (the following) was revealed: 'Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will be disputing before your Lord (39:31).' Az-Zubair said "O Messenger of Allah! We will repeat our disputes after what happened between us in the world?" He said: "Yes." So he said: "Indeed this is a very serious matter."
Hadith 3242
´Narrated Masruq:` that 'Aishah said: "O Messenger of Allah! - On the Day of Resurrection the whole earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand (39:67). Where will the believers be?" He said: "Upon the Sirat O 'Aishah!"
Hadith 3243

أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَيْفَ أَنْعَمُ وَقَدِ الْتَقَمَ صَاحِبُ الْقَرْنِ الْقَرْنَ وَحَنَى جَبْهَتَهُ وَأَصْغَى سَمْعَهُ يَنْتَظِرُ أَنْ يُؤْمَرَ أَنْ يَنْفُخَ فَيَنْفُخَ " ، قَالَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ : فَكَيْفَ نَقُولُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " قُولُوا : حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ ، تَوَكَّلْنَا عَلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّنَا ، " ، وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : " عَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ ، وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ الْأَعْمَشُ أَيْضًا عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ .
´Narrated Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "How can I be comfortable when the one with the horn is holding it in his lips and his forehead is leaning forward, waiting to be given permission to blow?" The Muslims said: "So what should we say, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Say: 'Allah is sufficient for us and what a good protector He is. We rely upon [our Lord] Allah'" - and perhaps Sufyan (one of the narrators) said: "upon Allah we rely."
Hadith 3248

ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ : اخْتَصَمَ عِنْدَ الْبَيْتِ ثَلَاثَةُ نَفَرٍ قُرَشِيَّانِ وَثَقَفِيٌّ ، أَوْ ثَقَفِيَّانِ وَقُرَشِيٌّ ، قَلِيلا فِقْهُ قُلُوبِهِمْ ، كَثِيرًا شَحْمُ بُطُونِهِمْ ، فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمْ : أَتَرَوْنَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَسْمَعُ مَا نَقُولُ ؟ فَقَالَ الْآخَرُ : يَسْمَعُ إِذَا جَهَرْنَا وَلَا يَسْمَعُ إِذَا أَخْفَيْنَا ، وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ : إِنْ كَانَ يَسْمَعُ إِذَا جَهَرْنَا فَإِنَّهُ يَسْمَعُ إِذَا أَخْفَيْنَا فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ : وَمَا كُنْتُمْ تَسْتَتِرُونَ أَنْ يَشْهَدَ عَلَيْكُمْ سَمْعُكُمْ وَلا أَبْصَارُكُمْ وَلا جُلُودُكُمْ سورة فصلت آية 22 " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Narrated Ibn Mas'ud:` "Three men whose bellies were fat, but whose hearts had little understanding, were arguing at the House. Two of them were from Quraish and one was from Thaqif - or two from Thaqif, and one from Quraish. One of them said: 'Do you think that Allah can hear what we are saying?' Another said: 'He can hear if we are loud, but He can not hear when we are quiet.' Another said: 'If He can hear when we are loud then He can hear when we are quiet.' So Allah, the Mighty and Sublime revealed: And you have not been hiding yourselves, lest your ears and your eyes and your skins should testify against you (41:22)."

رَجُلٍ مِنْ رَبِيعَةَ ، قَالَ : قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ ، فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَذَكَرْتُ عِنْدَهُ وَافِدَ عَادٍ ، فَقُلْتُ : أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِثْلَ وَافِدِ عَادٍ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَمَا وَافِدُ عَادٍ ؟ " قَالَ : فَقُلْتُ : عَلَى الْخَبِيرِ سَقَطْتَ ، إِنَّ عَادًا لَمَّا أُقْحِطَتْ بَعَثَتْ قَيْلًا فَنَزَلَ عَلَى بَكْرِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ فَسَقَاهُ الْخَمْرَ وَغَنَّتْهُ الْجَرَادَتَانِ ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ يُرِيدُ جِبَالَ مَهْرَةَ ، فَقَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي لَمْ آتِكَ لِمَرِيضٍ فَأُدَاوِيَهُ ، وَلَا لِأَسِيرٍ فَأُفَادِيَهُ فَاسْقِ عَبْدَكَ مَا كُنْتَ مُسْقِيَهُ وَاسْقِ مَعَهُ بَكْرَ بْنَ مُعَاوِيَةَ يَشْكُرُ لَهُ الْخَمْرَ الَّتِي سَقَاهُ ، فَرُفِعَ لَهُ سَحَابَاتٌ ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ : اخْتَرْ إِحْدَاهُنَّ ، فَاخْتَارَ السَّوْدَاءَ مِنْهُنَّ ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ : خُذْهَا رَمَادًا رِمْدِدًا لَا تَذَرُ مِنْ عَادٍ أَحَدًا ، وَذُكِرَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يُرْسَلْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ الرِّيحِ إِلَّا قَدْرُ هَذِهِ الْحَلْقَةِ يَعْنِي حَلْقَةَ الْخَاتَمِ ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ : إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّيحَ الْعَقِيمَ { 41 } مَا تَذَرُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلا جَعَلَتْهُ كَالرَّمِيمِ { 42 } سورة الذاريات آية 41-42 الْآيَةَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَقَدْ رَوَى غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ سَلَّامٍ أَبِي الْمُنْذِرِ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ ، وَيُقَالُ لَهُ : الْحَارِثُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ .
Abu Wa’il Shaqiq bin Salamah says: A man from the tribe of Banu Rabi’ah said: I came to Madinah and presented myself before the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). There, during the conversation, I mentioned the envoy of the people of ‘Ad, and I said: I seek refuge with Allah from becoming like the envoy of ‘Ad. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “What is the story of the envoy of ‘Ad?” I said: (It is good) that you asked someone who knows (I will tell you). When the people of ‘Ad were afflicted with drought, they sent Qayl (a man) (to Makkah to seek help and support). He stayed with Bakr bin Mu’awiyah, who gave him wine to drink, and two famous singing girls entertained him with their songs. Then Qayl left from there and headed towards the mountains of Mahrah (Mahrah is the name of the ancestor of a tribe). He (prayed and) said: O Allah! I have not come to You with a sick person to have him treated, nor for a prisoner to have him freed. So give Your servant to drink (i.e., me) what You wish to give, and along with it, give Bakr bin Mu’awiyah to drink as well (he made this supplication in gratitude) for the wine that Bakr bin Mu’awiyah had given him. (As a result) several clouds gathered for him (in the sky), and it was said to him: Choose any one of these for yourself. He chose the black cloud among them. It was said: Take it, but in it is your destruction and ruin; it will not leave a single person of the people of ‘Ad behind. And it is also mentioned that the wind (storm) sent upon ‘Ad was left only as much as the circle of a ring. Then the Prophet recited the verse «إذ أرسلنا عليهم الريح العقيم ما تذر من شيء أتت عليه إلا جعلته كالرميم» “And remember when We sent upon them a barren wind; it left nothing of what it came upon but that it made it like disintegrated ruins” (Adh-Dhariyat: 42). 1.

عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ : لَمَّا بَلَغَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سِدْرَةَ الْمُنْتَهَى ، قَالَ : " انْتَهَى إِلَيْهَا مَا يَعْرُجُ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ ، وَمَا يَنْزِلُ مِنْ فَوْقَ " ، قَالَ : فَأَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ عِنْدَهَا ثَلَاثًا لَمْ يُعْطِهِنَّ نَبِيًّا كَانَ قَبْلَهُ ، فُرِضَتْ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ خَمْسًا ، وَأُعْطِيَ خَوَاتِيمَ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ ، وَغُفِرَ لِأُمَّتِهِ الْمُقْحِمَاتُ مَا لَمْ يُشْرِكُوا بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا ، قَالَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ : إِذْ يَغْشَى السِّدْرَةَ مَا يَغْشَى سورة النجم آية 16 ، قَالَ : السِّدْرَةُ فِي السَّمَاءِ السَّادِسَةِ ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : فَرَاشٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ ، وَأَشَارَ سُفْيَانُ بِيَدِهِ فَأَرْعَدَهَا ، وَقَالَ غَيْرُ مَالِكِ بْنِ مِغْوَلٍ : إِلَيْهَا يَنْتَهِي عِلْمُ الْخَلْقِ لَا عِلْمَ لَهُمْ بِمَا فَوْقَ ذَلِكَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Narrated ['Abdullah] bin Mas'ud:` "When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) reached Sidrat Al-Muntaha" He said: 'There terminates everything that ascends from the earth, and everything that descends from above. So there Allah gave him three, which He did not give to any Prophet before him: He made fiver prayers obligatory upon him, He gave him the last Verses of Surat Al-Baqarah, and He pardoned the grave sins for those of his Ummah who do not associate anything with Allah.' Ibn Mas'ud said regarding the Ayah: "When that covered the Sidrah which did cover it! (53:16)" he said: "The sixth Sidrah in heavens." Sufyan said: "Golden butterflies" and Sufyan indicated with his hand in a fluttering motion. Others besides Malik bin Mighwal said: "There terminates the creatures' knowledge, there is no knowledge for them of what is above that."

الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ : لَقِيَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ كَعْبًا بِعَرَفَةَ ، فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ ، فَكَبَّرَ حَتَّى جَاوَبَتْهُ الْجِبَالُ ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : إِنَّا بَنُو هَاشِمٍ ، فَقَالَ كَعْبٌ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَسَمَ رُؤْيَتَهُ وَكَلَامَهُ بَيْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَمُوسَى ، فَكَلَّمَ مُوسَى مَرَّتَيْنِ ، وَرَآهُ مُحَمَّدٌ مَرَّتَيْنِ قَالَ
مَسْرُوقٌ : فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى
عَائِشَةَ، فَقُلْتُ : هَلْ رَأَى مُحَمَّدٌ رَبَّهُ ؟ فَقَالَتْ : لَقَدْ تَكَلَّمْتَ بِشَيْءٍ قَفَّ لَهُ شَعْرِي ، قُلْتُ : رُوَيْدًا ثُمَّ قَرَأْتُ : " لَقَدْ رَأَى مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِ الْكُبْرَى سورة النجم آية 18 ، فَقَالَتْ : أَيْنَ يُذْهَبُ بِكَ إِنَّمَا هُوَ جِبْرِيلُ ، مَنْ أَخْبَرَكَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَأَى رَبَّهُ ، أَوْ كَتَمَ شَيْئًا مِمَّا أُمِرَ بِهِ ، أَوْ يَعْلَمُ الْخَمْسَ الَّتِي قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى : إِنَّ اللَّهَ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَيُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ سورة لقمان آية 34 فَقَدْ أَعْظَمَ الْفِرْيَةَ ، وَلَكِنَّهُ رَأَى جِبْرِيلَ ، لَمْ يَرَهُ فِي صُورَتِهِ إِلَّا مَرَّتَيْنِ : مَرَّةً عِنْدَ سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهَى ، وَمَرَّةً فِي جِيَادٍ لَهُ سِتُّ مِائَةِ جَنَاحٍ قَدْ سَدَّ الْأُفُقَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَقَدْ رَوَى
دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنِ
الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ
مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ ، وَحَدِيثُ دَاوُدَ أَقْصَرُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مُجَالِدٍ .
´Narrated Ash-Sha'bi:` "Ibn 'Abbas met Ka'b at Arafat, so he asked him about something and he kept on saying the Takbir until it reverberated off of the mountains. So Ibn 'Abbas (finally) said: 'We are Banu Hashim.' So Ka'b said: 'Indeed Allah divided His being seen and His speaking between Muhammad and Musa. He spoke to Musa two times, and Muhammad saw Him two times.' Masruq said: 'I entered upon 'Aishah and asked her if Muhammad saw his Lord.' She said: 'You have said something that makes my hair stand on end.' I said: 'Take it easy.' Then I recited: Indeed he saw of the great signs of his Lord (53:18). So she said: 'What do you mean by that? That is only Jibra'il. Whoever informed you that Muhammad saw his Lord, or that (ﷺ) concealed something he was ordered with, or he knew of the five things about which Allah, [Most High] said: Verily Allah, with Him is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain (31:34) - then he has fabricated the worst lie. Rather he (ﷺ) saw Jibra'il, but he did not see him in his (real) image except two times. One time at Sidrat Al-Muntaha and one time in Jiyad, he had six-hundred wings which filled the horizon.'"
Hadith 3287
´Narrated Ibn Mas'ud:` "The moon was cleft asunder during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), so the Prophet (ﷺ) said to us: 'Bear witness.'"
Hadith 3305

عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، قَال : سَمِعْتُ
عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، يَقُولُ : " بَعَثَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا وَالزُّبَيْرَ ، وَالْمِقْدَادَ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ ، فَقَالَ :" انْطَلِقُوا حَتَّى تَأْتُوا رَوْضَةَ خَاخٍ ، فَإِنَّ فِيهَا ظَعِينَةً مَعَهَا كِتَابٌ فَخُذُوهُ مِنْهَا فَأْتُونِي بِهِ " ، فَخَرَجْنَا تَتَعَادَى بِنَا خَيْلُنَا حَتَّى أَتَيْنَا الرَّوْضَةَ فَإِذَا نَحْنُ بِالظَّعِينَةِ ، فَقُلْنَا : أَخْرِجِي الْكِتَابَ ، فَقَالَتْ : مَا مَعِي مِنْ كِتَابٍ ، فَقُلْنَا : لَتُخْرِجِنَّ الْكِتَابَ أَوْ لَتُلْقِيَنَّ الثِّيَابَ ، قَالَ : فَأَخْرَجَتْهُ مِنْ عِقَاصِهَا ، قَالَ : فَأَتَيْنَا بِهِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَإِذَا هُوَ مِنْ حَاطِبِ بْنِ أَبِي بَلْتَعَةَ إِلَى نَاسٍ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ بِمَكَّةَ يُخْبِرُهُمْ بِبَعْضِ أَمْرِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " مَا هَذَا يَا حَاطِبُ ؟ " قَالَ : لَا تَعْجَلْ عَلَيَّ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي كُنْتُ امْرَأً مُلْصَقًا فِي قُرَيْشٍ وَلَمْ أَكُنْ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهَا ، وَكَانَ مَنْ مَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ لَهُمْ قَرَابَاتٌ يَحْمُونَ بِهَا أَهْلِيهِمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ بِمَكَّةَ ، فَأَحْبَبْتُ إِذْ فَاتَنِي ذَلِكَ مِنْ نَسَبٍ فِيهِمْ أَنْ أَتَّخِذَ فِيهِمْ يَدًا يَحْمُونَ بِهَا قَرَابَتِي ، وَمَا فَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ كُفْرًا وَلَا ارْتِدَادًا عَنْ دِينِي وَلَا رِضًا بِالْكُفْرِ بَعْدَ الْإِسْلَامِ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " صَدَقَ " ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : دَعْنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَضْرِبْ عُنُقَ هَذَا الْمُنَافِقِ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّهُ قَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا ، فَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ اطَّلَعَ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ " ، فَقَالَ : " اعْمَلُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ فَقَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَكُمْ " ، قَالَ : وَفِيهِ أُنْزِلَتْ هَذِهِ السُّورَةُ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا عَدُوِّي وَعَدُوَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ السُّورَةَ " ، قَالَ عَمْرٌو : وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي رَافِعٍ ، وَكَانَ كَاتِبًا لِعَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَفِيهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ وَجَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، وَرَوَى غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ، نَحْوَ هَذَا ، وَذَكَرُوا هَذَا الْحَرْفَ ، وَقَالُوا : لَتُخْرِجِنَّ الْكِتَابَ أَوْ لَتُلْقِيَنَّ الثِّيَابَ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ أَيْضًا عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ نَحْوَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ ، ذَكَرَ بَعْضُهُمْ فِيهِ ، فَقَالَ لَتُخْرِجِنَّ الْكِتَابَ أَوْ لَنُجَرِّدَنَّكِ .
´Al-Hasan bin Muhammad – and he is Al-Hanafiyyah- narrated from Ubaidallah bin Abi Rafi who said:` “I heard Ali bin Abi Talib saying: “the Messenger of Allah dispatched us – myself, Az-Zubair, and Al-Miqad bin Al- Aswad. He said: “Proceed until you reach Rawdah Khakh, where there is a lady carrying a letter. Take the letter from her and bring it to me.” So we proceeded on our way with our horses galloping until we reached the Rawdah. There we found the lady and said to her: “Give me the letter.” She said: “I have no letter.” We said: “Either you take out the letter, or we shall take off your clothes.’” He said: ‘So she took it out of her braid.’ He said: ‘We brought it to the Messenger of Allah, and it was from Hatib bin Abi Balta’ah, addressed to some of people among the idolaters of Makkah, infrmed them of some matter regarding the Prophet. So he said: “What is this O Hatib?” He said: “Do not be hasty with me O Messenger of Allah! I was a person who is an ally to the Quraish, not being related to them. The Muhajirun who are with you have relatives who can protect their families and their wealth in Makkah. So since I have no lineage among them, I wanted to do them a favor, so they might protect my relatives. I did not do this out of disbelief, nor to renegade from my religion, nor did I do it to chose disbelief [after Islam].” The Prophet said: “He said the truth.” Umar bin Al-Khattab said: “Allow me to chop off the head of this hypocrite!” The Prophet said: “Indeed he participated in (the battle of) Badr. You do not know, perhaps Allah looked at those who attended Badr and said: ‘O people of Badr! Do as you like, for I have forgiven you.’” He said: ‘It was about him, that this Surah was revealed: O you who believe! Do not take My enemies and your enemies as protecting friends showing affection towards them.’”
Hadith 3315
حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا
سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ
عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعَ
جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ : كُنَّا فِي غَزَاةٍ ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : يَرَوْنَ أَنَّهَا غَزْوَةُ بَنِي الْمُصْطَلِقِ ، فَكَسَعَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ، فَقَالَ الْمُهَاجِرِيُّ : يَا لِلْمُهَاجِرِينَ ، وَقَالَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ : يَا لِلْأَنْصَارِ ، فَسَمِعَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " مَا بَالُ دَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ؟ " ، قَالُوا : رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ كَسَعَ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " دَعُوهَا فَإِنَّهَا مُنْتِنَةٌ " ، فَسَمِعَ ذَلِكَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُبَيٍّ ابْنُ سَلُولٍ ، فَقَالَ : أَوَقَدْ فَعَلُوهَا وَاللَّهِ لَئِنْ رَجَعْنَا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ الأَعَزُّ مِنْهَا الأَذَلَّ سورة المنافقون آية 8 ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ دَعْنِي أَضْرِبْ عُنُقَ هَذَا الْمُنَافِقِ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : دَعْهُ لَا يَتَحَدَّثُ النَّاسُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا يَقْتُلُ أَصْحَابَهُ ، وَقَالَ غَيْرُ عَمْرٍو : فَقَالَ لَهُ ابْنُهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ : وَاللَّهِ لَا تَنْقَلِبُ حَتَّى تُقِرَّ أَنَّكَ الذَّلِيلُ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعَزِيزُ ، فَفَعَلَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Sufyan narrated from Amr bin Dinar that he heard Jabir bin Abdullah saying:` “We were in a battle” – Sufyan said: “They say it was the battle of Banu Mustaliq” – “A man from the Muhajirin kicked a man from the Ansar. The man from the Muhajirin said: ‘O Muhajirin!’ the man from the Ansar said: ‘O Ansar!’ The Prophet heard that and said: ‘What is this evil call of Jahliyyah?’ They said: ‘A man from the Muhajirin kicked a man from the Ansar.’ So the Prophet said: ‘Leave that, for it is offensive.’ Abdullah bin Ubayy bin Salul heard that and said: ‘Did they really do that? By Allah! If we return to Al-Madinah indeed the more honorable will expel therefrom the meaner.’ Umar said: ‘Allow me to chop off the head of this hypocrite, O Messenger of Allah!’ The Prophet said: ‘Leave him, I do not want the people to say that Muhammad kills his Companions.’” Someone other than Amr said: “So his son, Abdullah bin Abdullah, said: ‘By Allah! You shall not return until you say that you are the mean and that the Messenger of Allah is the honorable.’ So he did so.”
Hadith 3327

الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ
جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ : قَالَ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ لِأُنَاسٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : هَلْ يَعْلَمُ نَبِيُّكُمْ كَمْ عَدَدُ خَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ؟ قَالُوا : لَا نَدْرِي حَتَّى نَسْأَلَ نَبِيَّنَا ، فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : يَا مُحَمَّدُ غُلِبَ أَصْحَابُكَ الْيَوْمَ ، قَالَ : " وَبِمَا غُلِبُوا ؟ " قَالَ : سَأَلَهُمْ يَهُودُ : هَلْ يَعْلَمُ نَبِيُّكُمْ كَمْ عَدَدُ خَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : " فَمَا قَالُوا ؟ " قَالَ : قَالُوا : لَا نَدْرِي حَتَّى نَسْأَلَ نَبِيَّنَا ، قَالَ : " أَفَغُلِبَ قَوْمٌ سُئِلُوا عَمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ، فَقَالُوا : لَا نَعْلَمُ حَتَّى نَسْأَلَ نَبِيَّنَا ، لَكِنَّهُمْ قَدْ سَأَلُوا نَبِيَّهُمْ " ، فَقَالُوا : أَرِنَا اللَّهَ جَهْرَةً ، عَلَيَّ بِأَعْدَاءِ اللَّهِ إِنِّي سَائِلُهُمْ عَنْ تُرْبَةِ الْجَنَّةِ وَهِيَ الدَّرْمَكُ ، فَلَمَّا جَاءُوا قَالُوا : يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ كَمْ عَدَدُ خَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا فِي مَرَّةٍ عَشَرَةٌ وَفِي مَرَّةٍ تِسْعَةٌ ، قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا تُرْبَةُ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ " قَالَ : فَسَكَتُوا هُنَيْهَةً ثُمَّ قَالُوا : خُبْزَةٌ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْخُبْزُ مِنَ الدَّرْمَكِ " ، قَالَ : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مُجَالِدٍ .
´Jabir [bin Abdullah] said:` “Some people from the Jews said to some people among the Companions of the Prophet: ‘Does your Prophet know how many keepers are there in Jahannam?’ They said: ‘We do not know until we ask our Prophet and said: ‘O Muhammad! Your Companions were defeated today.’ He said: ‘In what were they defeated?’ He said: ‘Some Jews asked them if their Prophet knew how many keepers are there in Jahannam.’ He said: ‘So what did they say?’ He said: ‘They said: “We do not know until we ask our Prophet.” He said: ‘Are a people defeated who are asked about something that they do not know, merely because they said, “We do not know until we ask our Prophet?” Rather, there (people) did ask their Prophet, they said: “Show us Allah plainly.” I should ask the enemies of Allah about the Darmak.’ So when they came to him they said: ‘O Abul-Qasim! How many keepers are there in Jahannum?’ He said: ‘This and that many.’ One time ten, and one time nine. They said: ‘Yes.’ He said to them: ‘What is the dirt of Paradise?’” He said: “They were silent for a while, then they said: ‘Is it bread O Abul-Qasim?’ So the Prophet said: ‘The bread is made of Ad-Darmak.’”
Hadith 3329
حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا
سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ
مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ
سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ
ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ يُحَرِّكُ بِهِ لِسَانَهُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَحْفَظَهُ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ : لا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ سورة القيامة آية 16 ، قَالَ : فَكَانَ يُحَرِّكُ بِهِ شَفَتَيْهِ " ، وَحَرَّكَ سُفْيَانُ شَفَتَيْهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ : قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ ، كَانَ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ يُحْسِنُ الثَّنَاءَ عَلَى مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ خَيْرًا .
´Ibn Abbas said:` “When the Quran was being revealed to the Messenger of Allah, he would move his tongue in attempt to memorize it. So Allah, Blessed is He and Most High, revealed: Move not your tongue concerning it to make haste therewith.” He said: “So he would move his two lips.” And Sufyan (a sub-narrator) would move his two lips.
Hadith 3345
حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا
سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ
الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ
جُنْدَبٍ الْبَجَلِيِّ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَارٍ فَدَمِيَتْ أُصْبُعُهُ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَلْ أَنْتِ إِلَّا إِصْبَعٌ دَمِيتِ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مَا لَقِيتِ " ، قَالَ : وَأَبْطَأَ عَلَيْهِ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام ، فَقَالَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ : قَدْ وُدِّعَ مُحَمَّدٌ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى : مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَى سورة الضحى آية 3 " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ ، وَالثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ .
´Jundab Al-Bajali said:` “I was with the Prophet in a battle when of his finger bled, so the Prophet said: ‘Are you but a finger that bleeds – In the cause of Allah is what you have met.’” He said: “Jibril [peace be upon him] was delayed, so the idolaters said: ‘Muhammad has been forsaken.’ So Allah, Blessed is He and Most High revealed: Your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor hate you.”
Hadith 3347
حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا
سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ
إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، قَال : سَمِعْتُ
رَجُلًا بَدَوِيًّا أَعْرَابِيًّا ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ
أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَرْوِيهِ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ قَرَأَ وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ ، فَقَرَأَ : أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ سورة التين آية 8 ، فَلْيَقُلْ : بَلَى وَأَنَا عَلَى ذَلِكَ مِنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ إِنَّمَا يُرْوَى بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ هَذَا الْأَعْرَابِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَلَا يُسَمَّى .
´Ismail bin Umayyah said:` “I heard a Bedouin man saying: ‘I heard Abu Hurairah saying: “Whoever recited Surat ‘By At-Tim and Az-Zamzam’ Then he recited: ‘Is not Allah the best of judges?’ then let him say: ‘Of course, and I am a witness to that.’”
Hadith 3351
حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا
سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ
عَبْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ،
وَعَاصِمٍ هُوَ ابْنُ بَهْدَلَةَ، سَمِعَا
زِرَّ بْنَ حُبَيْشٍ وَزِرُّ بْنُ حُبَيْشٍ يُكْنَى أَبَا مَرْيَمَ ، يَقُولُ : قُلْتُ
لِأُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ : إِنَّ أَخَاكَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ يَقُمِ الْحَوْلَ يُصِبْ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ ، فَقَالَ : يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ لَقَدْ عَلِمَ أَنَّهَا فِي الْعَشَرَةَ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ ، وَأَنَّهَا لَيْلَةُ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ ، وَلَكِنَّهُ أَرَادَ أَنْ لَا يَتَّكِلَ النَّاسُ ثُمَّ حَلَفَ لَا يَسْتَثْنِي أَنَّهَا لَيْلَةُ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لَهُ : بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ تَقُولُ ذَلِكَ يَا أَبَا الْمُنْذِرِ ، قَالَ : بِالْآيَةِ الَّتِي أَخْبَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَوْ بِالْعَلَامَةِ أَنَّ الشَّمْسَ تَطْلُعُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَا شُعَاعَ لَهَا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ أَبُو وَائِلٍ شَقِيقُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ لا يَتَكَلَّمُ مَا دَامَ زِرُّ بْنُ حُبَيْشٍ جَالِسًا ، قَالَ عَاصِمُ بْنُ بَهْدَلَةَ : وَكَانَ زِرُّ بْنُ حُبَيْشٍ رَجُلا فَصِيحًا ، وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ يَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الْعَرِبِيَّةِ . حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مهْرَانَ الْكُوفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بهدلة ، قَالَ : مَرَّ رَجُلٌ عَلَى زِرِّ بْنُ حُبَيْشٍ وَهُوَ يُؤَذِّنُ ، فَقَالَ : يَا أَبَا مَرْيَمَ أَتُؤَذِّنُ ؟ إِنِّي لأَرْغَبُ بِكً عَنِ الأَذَانِ ، فَقَالَ زِرُّ : أَتَرْغَبُ عَنِ الأَذَانِ ، وَاللهِ لا أُكَلِّمُكَ أَبَدًا .
´Zirr bin Hubaish [and Zirr bin Hubaish’s Kunyah is Abu Mariam] said:` “I said to Ubayy bin Ka’b: ‘Your brother Abdullah bin Mas’ud says: “Whoever stands (in voluntary prayer) the whole year, then he will have reached the Night of Al-Qadr.’” So he said: ‘May Allah forgive Abu Abdur-Rahman. He knows that is during the last ten (nights) of Ramadan, and that it is the night of the twenty-seventh. But he wanted the people to not rely upon that.’ Then he uttered an oath, that without exception it is on the night of the twenty-seventh.” He said: “I said to him: ‘Why is it that you say that O Abu Al-Mindhir?’ He said: “By the sign or indication which the Messenger of Allah informed us of: ‘That the sun rises on that day having no beams with it.’”
Hadith 3356
´Abdullah bin Az-Zubair bin Al-Awwam narrated from his father who said:` “When the following was revealed: Then on that Day, you shall be asked about the delights!’ Az-Zubair said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! Which are the delights that we will be asked about, when they (delights) are but the two black things: dates and water?’ He said: ‘But it is what shall come.’”
Hadith 3394
حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا
سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ
أَبِي إِسْحَاق الْهَمْدَانِيِّ، عَنِ
الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : قَالَ لَهُ : " أَلَا أُعَلِّمُكَ كَلِمَاتٍ تَقُولُهَا إِذَا أَوَيْتَ إِلَى فِرَاشِكَ ، فَإِنْ مُتَّ مِنْ لَيْلَتِكَ مِتَّ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ وَإِنْ أَصْبَحْتَ أَصْبَحْتَ وَقَدْ أَصَبْتَ خَيْرًا ، تَقُولُ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي إِلَيْكَ وَوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَيْكَ وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي إِلَيْكَ رَغْبَةً وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ وَأَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ لَا مَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجَا مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ ، آمَنْتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَ وَنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ " ، قَالَ الْبَرَاءُ : فَقُلْتُ : وَبِرَسُولِكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ ، قَالَ : فَطَعَنَ بِيَدِهِ فِي صَدْرِي ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : وَنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ ، وَرَوَاهُ
مَنْصُورُ بْنُ الْمُعْتَمِرِ، عَنْ
سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ
الْبَرَاءِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، نَحْوَهُ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : إِذَا أَوَيْتَ إِلَى فِرَاشِكَ وَأَنْتَ عَلَى وُضُوءٍ ، وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ .
´Al-Bara' bin `Azib narrated that:` The Prophet (ﷺ) said to him: “Should I not teach you some words to say when you go to your bed, so if you died, you will die upon the Fitrah, and if you reach the morning, you will reach it in good? You say: ‘O Allah, verily, I submit myself to You, and I turn my face to You, and I entrust my affair to You, hoping in You and fearing in You. And I lay myself down depending upon You, there is no refuge [nor escape] from You except to You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed, and in Your Prophet whom You have sent (Allāhumma innī aslamtu nafsī ilaika wa wajjahtu wajhī ilaika, wa fawwaḍtu amrī ilaika, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilaika wa alja'tu ẓahrī ilaika, lā malja'a [wa lā manjā] minka illā ilaik. Āmantu bikitābikal-ladhī anzalta wa binabiyyikal-ladhī arsalt).’” Al-Bara' said: “So I said: ‘And in Your Messenger whom you have sent.’” He said: “So he (ﷺ) struck his hand upon my chest, then said: “And in Your Prophet whom You have sent. (Wa binabiyyikal-ladhī arsalt).”
Hadith 3398
´Hudhaifah bin Al-Yaman (ra) narrated that:` When the Prophet (ﷺ) would sleep, he would put his hand under his head then say: “O Allah, safeguard me from Your Punishment the Day You gather [Your slaves] (Allāhumma qinī `adhābaka yawma tajma`u [`ibādak])” or “you resurrect your slaves (tab`athu `ibādak).”

سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَنْ فِرَاشِهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ فَلْيَنْفُضْهُ بِصَنِفَةِ إِزَارِهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي مَا خَلَفَهُ عَلَيْهِ بَعْدَهُ ، فَإِذَا اضْطَجَعَ فَلْيَقُلْ : بِاسْمِكَ رَبِّي وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي وَبِكَ أَرْفَعُهُ ، فَإِنْ أَمْسَكْتَ نَفْسِي فَارْحَمْهَا ، وَإِنْ أَرْسَلْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا بِمَا تَحْفَظُ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ ، فَإِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ فَلْيَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي عَافَانِي فِي جَسَدِي ، وَرَدَّ عَلَيَّ رُوحِي ، وَأَذِنَ لِي بِذِكْرِهِ " ، قَالَ : وَفِي الْبَابِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، وَعَائِشَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ ، وَرَوَى بَعْضُهُمْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ وَقَالَ : فَلْيَنْفُضْهُ بِدَاخِلَةِ إِزَارِهِ .
´Abu Hurairah (ra) narrated that :` the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When one of you leaves his bed then returns to it, then let him brush it off with the edge of his Izar three times, for indeed, he does not know what succeeded him upon it after him. When he lies down, let him say: ‘In Your Name, my Lord, I lay my side down, and in Your Name I raise it. And if You take my soul, then have mercy upon it, and if You release it, then protect it with that which You protect Your righteous worshipers (Bismika rabbī waḍa`tu janbī wa bika arfa`uhu, fa’in amsakta nafsī farḥamhā wa in arsaltahā faḥfaẓhā bimā taḥfaẓu bihī `ibādakaṣ-ṣāliḥīn)’ And when he awakens, let him say: All praise is due to Allah, Who healed me in my body, and returned to me my soul, and permitted me to remember Him (Al-ḥamdulillāh alladhī `āfānī fī jasadī wa radda `alayya rūḥī wa adhina lī bidhikrih).’”
Hadith 3434
´Ibn Umar said:` “In one sitting of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), one could count that he said a hundred time, before he would get up: ‘O my Lord, forgive me, and accept my repentance. Verily, You are the Oft-Returning, the Most Forgiving (Rabbighfirlī watub `alayya innaka antat-Tawwābul-Ghafūr).’”
Hadith 3508
´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet said:` “Indeed, Allah has ninety-nine Names, whoever counts them shall enter Paradise.”

عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ، عَنْ
زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ، قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ
صَفْوَانَ بْنَ عَسَّالٍ الْمُرَادِيَّ أَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ ، فَقَالَ : مَا جَاءَ بِكَ يَا زِرُّ ؟ فَقُلْتُ : ابْتِغَاءَ الْعِلْمِ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَتَضَعُ أَجْنِحَتَهَا لِطَالِبِ الْعِلْمِ رِضًا بِمَا يَطْلُبُ ، فَقُلْتُ : إِنَّهُ حَكَّ فِي صَدْرِي الْمَسْحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ بَعْدَ الْغَائِطِ وَالْبَوْلِ وَكُنْتَ امْرَأً مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجِئْتُ أَسْأَلُكَ هَلْ سَمِعْتَهُ يَذْكُرُ فِي ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، " كَانَ يَأْمُرُنَا إِذَا كُنَّا سَفَرًا أَوْ مُسَافِرِينَ أَنْ لَا نَنْزِعَ خِفَافَنَا ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ إِلَّا مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ ، لَكِنْ مِنْ غَائِطٍ وَبَوْلٍ وَنَوْمٍ " . (حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) فَقُلْتُ : هَلْ سَمِعْتَهُ يَذْكُرُ فِي الْهَوَى شَيْئًا ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، فَقُلْتُ : هَلْ سَمِعْتَهُ يَذْكُرُ فِي الْهَوَى شَيْئًا ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَبَيْنَا نَحْنُ عِنْدَهُ إِذْ نَادَاهُ أَعْرَابِيٌّ بِصَوْتٍ لَهُ جَهْوَرِيٍّ ، يَا مُحَمَّدُ ، فَأَجَابَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوًا مِنْ صَوْتِهِ هَاؤُمُ ، فَقُلْنَا لَهُ : وَيْحَكَ ، اغْضُضْ مِنْ صَوْتِكَ فَإِنَّكَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ نُهِيتَ عَنْ هَذَا ، فَقَالَ : وَاللَّهِ لَا أَغْضُضُ ، قَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ : الْمَرْءُ يُحِبُّ الْقَوْمَ وَلَمَّا يَلْحَقْ بِهِمْ ؟ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " ، فَمَا زَالَ يُحَدِّثُنَا حَتَّى ذَكَرَ بَابًا مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَغْرِبِ مَسِيرَةُ سَبْعِينَ عَامًا عَرْضُهُ ، أَوْ يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ فِي عَرْضِهِ أَرْبَعِينَ أَوْ سَبْعِينَ عَامًا ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : قِبَلَ الشَّامِ ، خَلَقَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ مَفْتُوحًا يَعْنِي لِلتَّوْبَةِ ، لَا يُغْلَقُ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ مِنْهُ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Zirr bin Hubaish said:` “I came to Safwan bin `Assal Al Muradi to ask him about wiping over the Khuff, so he said: ‘What has brought you, O Zirr?’ So I said: ‘The desire for knowledge.’ So he said: ‘Indeed, the angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge, out of pleasure with what he is seeking.’ So I said: ‘Indeed there is some doubt in my chest concerning wiping over the Khuff after defecation and urination, and you were a man from the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ), so I came to you to ask you: Have you heard him (ﷺ) mention anything concerning that?’ He said: ‘Yes, he (ﷺ) used to order us, that when we were travelers’ - or - ‘in travel, to not remove our Khuff for three days and nights except, from sexual impurity, but not from defecation, urination, and sleep.’” He said: “Have you heard him (ﷺ) mention anything concerning love?” He said: “Yes. We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on a journey when a Bedouin with a loud voice called upon him (saying): ‘O Muhammad!’ So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) responded to him with a voice similar to him (saying): ‘Come.’ So we said to him: ‘Lower your voice for you are with the Prophet (ﷺ), and you have been prohibited from this.’ He said: ‘By Allah, I will not lower (my voice).’ The Bedouin said: ‘A man loves a people but he is not with them (in terms of deeds)?’ He (ﷺ) said: ‘A man is with whomever he loves on the Day of Judgement.’” So he did not cease talking with us, until he mentioned a gate in the direction of the west with the width of seventy years journey - or a rider would travel its width - for forty or seventy years.” Sufyan (one of the narrators) said: “In the direction of Ash-Sham, Allah created it the Day He created the heavens and the earth, open - that is, for repentance. It shall not be locked until the sun rises through it.”

أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَا سَيِّدُ وَلَدِ آدَمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا فَخْرَ ، وَبِيَدِي لِوَاءُ الْحَمْدِ وَلَا فَخْرَ ، وَمَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ يَوْمَئِذٍ آدَمُ فَمَنْ سِوَاهُ إِلَّا تَحْتَ لِوَائِي ، وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ مَنْ تَنْشَقُّ عَنْهُ الْأَرْضُ وَلَا فَخْرَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ قِصَّةٌ وَهَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ
أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنِ
ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
´Narrated Abu Sa'eed:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "I am the master of the children of Adam on the Day of Judgement, and I am not boasting. The Banner of Praise will be in my hand, and I am not boasting. There will not be a Prophet on that day, not Adam nor anyone other than him, except that he will be under my banner. And I am the first one for whom the earth will be opened for, and I am not bragging."
Hadith 3662
´Narrated Hudhaifah:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Stick to the two after me, Abu Bakr and 'Umar."

‘Ahmad bin Mani’ and several other narrators narrated to us,’ they all say: Sufyan bin ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, and Sufyan narrated from ‘Abdul-Malik bin ‘Umair in the same manner. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- Sufyan bin ‘Uyaynah used to practice tadlis in this hadith; sometimes he mentioned «عن زائدة عن عبد الملك بن عمير» in it and sometimes he did not mention «عن زائدة» in it,
2- Ibrahim bin Sa’d narrated this hadith from Sufyan Thawri, Sufyan from ‘Abdul-Malik bin ‘Umair, ‘Abdul-Malik from Hilal, the freed slave of Rubay’, Hilal from Rubay’, and Rubay’ from Hudhaifah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him),
3- This hadith has also come from Rubay’ through another chain, which he narrated from Hudhaifah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him),
4- Salim An’ami al-Kufi narrated this hadith from Rubay’ bin Hirash, from Hudhaifah.
Hadith 3666
´Narrated 'Ali:` that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Abu Bakr and 'Umar are the masters of the elder people among the inhabitants of Paradise, from the first ones and the last ones, not including the Prophets and the Messengers. Do not inform them O 'Ali."
Hadith 3753
´Narrated 'Ali:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not mention both (his) parents for anyone except Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas. On the Day of (the battle of) Uhud he said: 'Shoot, may my father and mother be ransomed for you.' And he said to him: 'Shoot O young man.'"

الْمُسَيِّبِ بْنِ نَجَبَةَ، قَالَ : قَالَ
عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ كُلَّ نَبِيٍّ أُعْطِيَ سَبْعَةَ نُجَبَاءَ , أَوْ نُقَبَاءَ ، وَأُعْطِيتُ أَنَا أَرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ " ، قُلْنَا : مَنْ هُمْ ؟ قَالَ : " أَنَا , وَابْنَايَ , وَجَعْفَرُ , وَحَمْزَةُ , وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ , وَعُمَرُ , وَمُصْعَبُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ , وَبِلَالٌ , وَسَلْمَانُ , وَالْمِقْدَادُ , وَحُذَيْفَةُ , وَعَمَّارٌ , وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ مَوْقُوفًا .
´Narrated Al-Musayyab bin Najabah:` "'Ali bin Abi Talib said: 'The Prophet SAW said: "Indeed every Prophet is given seven select attendants" - or he said: "guards" - "and I was given fourteen." We said: "Who are they?" He said: 'Myself, my two sons (Al-Hasan and Al-Husain), Ja'far, Hamzah, Abu Bakr, 'Umar, Mus'ab bin 'Umair, Bilal, Salman, 'Ammar, Al-Miqdad, Hudhaifah, Abu Dharr, and 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud.'"
Hadith 3841
´Narrated Abu Hurairah [may Allah be pleased with him] :` "There is none with more Ahadith from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) than I, except for 'Abdullah bin 'Amr, for he used to write, (the Ahadith) and I did not used to write."
