Hadith 20
´It was narrated that Ali bin Abu Talib said :` "When I narrate a Hadith from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), to you, then think of him as being the best, the most rightly guided and the one with the utmost Taqwa (piety, righteousness)"
Hadith 1832
´Abu Sa'eed narrated and attributed to the Prophet:` “A Wasq is sixty Sa.”
Hadith 2310
حَدَّثَنَا
عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا
يَعْلَى ،
وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ
الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ
عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ ، عَنْ
عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْيَمَنِ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تَبْعَثُنِي وَأَنَا شَابٌّ أَقْضِي بَيْنَهُمْ وَلَا أَدْرِي مَا الْقَضَاءُ ، قَالَ : فَضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ فِي صَدْرِي ثُمَّ قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِ قَلْبَهُ وَثَبِّتْ لِسَانَهُ " ، قَالَ : فَمَا شَكَكْتُ بَعْدُ فِي قَضَاءٍ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ .
´It was narrated that 'Ali said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent me to Yemen. I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you are sending me to judge between them while I am a young man, and I do not know how to judge.' He struck me on the chest with his hand and said: 'O Allah, guide his heart and make his tongue steadfast.' And after that I never doubted in passing judgment between two people.”
Hadith 2884
´It was narrated that ‘Ali said:` “When the following was revealed: “And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka’bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allah, for whoever can bear the way.” [3:97] They asked: ‘O Messenger of Allah, is Hajj every year?’ He remained silent. They asked: ‘Is it every year?’ He said: ‘No. If I had said yes, it would have become obligatory.’ Then the following was revealed: “O you who believe! Ask not about things which, if made plain to you, may cause you trouble.’” [5:101]
Hadith 4008

أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ , حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ,
وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ , عَنْ
الْأَعْمَشِ , عَنْ
عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ , عَنْ
أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ , عَنْ
أَبِي سَعِيدٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَحْقِرْ أَحَدُكُمْ نَفْسَهُ " , قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , كَيْفَ يَحْقِرُ أَحَدُنَا نَفْسَهُ ؟ قَالَ : " يَرَى أَمْرًا لِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ فِيهِ مَقَالٌ , ثُمَّ لَا يَقُولُ فِيهِ , فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ : مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تَقُولَ فِي كَذَا كذا وَكَذَا , فَيَقُولُ : خَشْيَةُ النَّاسِ , فَيَقُولُ : فَإِيَّايَ كُنْتَ أَحَقَّ أَنْ تَخْشَى " .
´It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “No one of you should belittle himself.” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, how could anyone of us belittle himself?” He said: “If he sees something concerning which he should speak out for the sake of Allah but does not say anything. Allah will say to him on the Day of Resurrection: “What prevented you from speaking concerning such and such?” He will say: “Fear of the people.” (Allah) will say: “Rather you should have feared Me.”
