Hadith 503
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " " يُصَلِّي الْجُمُعَةَ حِينَ تَمِيلُ الشَّمْسُ " " .
´Anas bin Malik narrated:` "The Prophet would pray the Friday prayer when the sun was declining."
Hadith 2226
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَشْرَجُ بْنُ نُبَاتَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُمْهَانَ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي سَفِينَةُ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْخِلَافَةُ فِي أُمَّتِي ثَلَاثُونَ سَنَةً ثُمَّ مُلْكٌ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي سَفِينَةُ : أَمْسِكْ خِلَافَةَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : وَخِلَافَةَ عُمَرَ ، وَخِلَافَةَ عُثْمَانَ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي : أَمْسِكْ خِلَافَةَ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : فَوَجَدْنَاهَا ثَلَاثِينَ سَنَةً ، قَالَ سَعِيدٌ : فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : إِنَّ بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ الْخِلَافَةَ فِيهِمْ ، قَالَ : كَذَبُوا بَنُو الزَّرْقَاءِ بَلْ هُمْ مُلُوكٌ مِنْ شَرِّ الْمُلُوكِ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عُمَرَ ، وَعَلِيٍّ ، قَالَا : لَمْ يَعْهَدِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْخِلَافَةِ شَيْئًا ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ ، قَدْ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُمْهَانَ ، وَلَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُمْهَانَ .
Saeed bin Jumhan says: Safina (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to us that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Khilafah will remain in my Ummah for thirty years, then after that, kingship will come." Then Safina (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me: Count the Khilafah of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), the Khilafah of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), the Khilafah of Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), and the Khilafah of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) 1. The narrator, Hashraj bin Nabatah, says: We found it to be thirty years. Saeed bin Jumhan says: I said to Safina (may Allah be pleased with him): Banu Umayyah think that Khilafah is among them? He said: The Banu Zarqa are lying and wrong, rather, their count is among the worst of kings. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan (good),
2- Many people have narrated this hadith from Saeed bin Jumhan; we know it only from the narration of Saeed bin Jumhan,
3- In this chapter, there are also ahadith from Umar and Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not make any bequest regarding Khilafah.
1- This hadith is Hasan (good),
2- Many people have narrated this hadith from Saeed bin Jumhan; we know it only from the narration of Saeed bin Jumhan,
3- In this chapter, there are also ahadith from Umar and Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not make any bequest regarding Khilafah.
Hadith 3360
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " بَيْنَا أَنَا أَسِيرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ إِذْ عُرِضَ لِي نَهْرٌ حَافَّتَاهُ قِبَابُ اللُّؤْلُؤِ ، قُلْتُ لِلْمَلَكِ : مَا هَذَا ؟ قَالَ : هَذَا الْكَوْثَرُ الَّذِي أَعْطَاكَهُ اللَّهُ ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ ضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى طِينَةٍ فَاسْتَخْرَجَ مِسْكًا ، ثُمَّ رُفِعَتْ لِي سِدْرَةُ الْمُنْتَهَى ، فَرَأَيْتُ عِنْدَهَا نُورًا عَظِيمًا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، قَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ .
´Anas narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:` “While I was traveling through Paradise, a river appeared before me whose banks had tents of pearl. I said to the angel: ‘What is this?’ He said: ‘This is Al-Kauthar, which Allah has granted you.’” He said: “Then he put his hand in the clay, and removed musk from it, then I was raised up to Sidrat Al-Muntaha so I saw a magnificent light at it.”
