Hadith 3370
´It was narrated from Salim that his father said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade a man from eating while lying down on his face.”
Hadith 3387
´Salim bin ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar narrated that his father said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Every intoxicant is unlawful.’”
Hadith 3448
´It was narrated that ‘Uthman bin ‘Abdul-Malik said:` “I heard Salim bin ‘Abdullah narrating from his father that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘You should eat this black seed, for in it there is healing from every disease, except the Sam (death).’”
Hadith 3495
´Salim bin ‘Abdullah narrated that his father said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘You should use antimony, for it improves the eyesight and makes the hair (eyelashes) grow.’”
Hadith 3535
حَدَّثَنَا
أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ , حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ , أَخْبَرَنِي
يُونُسُ , عَنْ
ابْنِ شِهَابٍ , عَنْ
سَالِمٍ , عَنْ
أَبِيهِ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " اقْتُلُوا الْحَيَّاتِ , وَاقْتُلُوا ذَا الطُّفْيَتَيْنِ , وَالْأَبْتَرَ , فَإِنَّهُمَا يَلْتَمِسَانِ الْبَصَرَ , وَيُسْقِطَانِ الْحَبَلَ ".
´it was narrated from Salim, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Kill snakes, and kill Dhit-Tufytain* and the Abtar**, for they take away the sight and cause miscarriage.” *A snake that has two white stripes on its back. **A snake with a short or mutilated tail.
Hadith 3558
حَدَّثَنَا
الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ , حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , أَنْبَأَنَا
مَعْمَرٌ , عَنْ
الزُّهْرِيِّ , عَنْ
سَالِمٍ , عَنْ
ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى عَلَى عُمَرَ قَمِيصًا أَبْيَضَ , فَقَالَ : " ثَوْبُكَ هَذَا غَسِيلٌ أَمْ جَدِيدٌ " , قَالَ : لَا بَلْ غَسِيلٌ , قَالَ : " الْبَسْ جَدِيدًا , وَعِشْ حَمِيدًا , وَمُتْ شَهِيدًا " .
´It was narrated from Ibn `Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw `Umar wearing a white shirt and he said:` “Is this garment of yours washed or a new one?” He said: “Rather it has been washed.” He said: “Ilbas jadida, wa `ish hamida, wa mut shahida (May you wear new clothes, live a good life and die as martyr).”
Hadith 3576
´It was narrated from Salim, from his father, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Hanging down may apply to the waist wrap, shirt or turban. Whoever lets any of these drag out of pride, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.”
Hadith 3769
´It was narrated from Salim, from his father, that the Prophet(ﷺ) said:` "Do not leave fire in your houses when you go to sleep."
Hadith 3892

أَبِي يَحْيَى عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ , وَلَيْسَ بِصَاحِبِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ مَوْلَى آلِ الزُّبَيْرِ , عَنْ
سَالِم , عَنْ
ابْنِ عُمَرَ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ فَجِئَهُ صَاحِبُ بَلَاءٍ , فَقَالَ : الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي عَافَانِي مِمَّا ابْتَلَاكَ بِهِ , وَفَضَّلَنِي عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِمَّنْ خَلَقَ تَفْضِيلًا , عُوفِيَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْبَلَاءِ كَائِنًا مَا كَانَ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever unexpectedly comes across a person suffering a calamity, and says: Al-hamdu Lillahil-ladhi ‘afani mim-mabtalaka bihi, wa faddalani ‘ala kathirin mimman khalaqa tafdila (Praise is to Allah Who has kept me safe from that which has afflicted you and preferred me over many of those whom He has created), will be kept safe from that calamity, no matter what it is.’”
Hadith 3919

مَعْمَرٍ , عَنْ
الزُّهْرِيِّ , عَنْ
سَالِمٍ , عَنْ
ابْنِ عُمَرَ , قَالَ : كُنْتُ غُلَامًا شَابًّا عَزَبًا , فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَكُنْتُ أَبِيتُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ , فَكَانَ مَنْ رَأَى مِنَّا رُؤْيَا يَقُصُّهَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقُلْتُ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كَانَ لِي عِنْدَكَ خَيْرٌ فَأَرِنِي رُؤْيَا يُعَبِّرُهَا لِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَنِمْتُ فَرَأَيْتُ مَلَكَيْنِ أَتَيَانِي فَانْطَلَقَا بِي , فَلَقِيَهُمَا مَلَكٌ آخَرُ , فَقَالَ : لَمْ تُرَعْ , فَانْطَلَقَا بِي إِلَى النَّارِ , فَإِذَا هِيَ مَطْوِيَّةٌ كَطَيِّ الْبِئْرِ , وَإِذَا فِيهَا نَاسٌ قَدْ عَرَفْتُ بَعْضَهُمْ , فَأَخَذُوا بِي ذَاتَ الْيَمِينِ , فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحْتُ ذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِحَفْصَةَ , فَزَعَمَتْ حَفْصَةُ أَنَّهَا قَصَّتْهَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ , لَوْ كَانَ يُكْثِرُ الصَّلَاةَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ " , قَالَ : فَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يُكْثِرُ الصَّلَاةَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said:` “I was a young unmarried man at the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and I used to stay overnight in the mosque. If any of us had seen a dream, he would tell it to the Prophet (ﷺ). I said: ‘O Allah, if there is any good in me before You, show me a dream that the Prophet (ﷺ) can interpret for me.’ So I went to sleep and I saw two angels who came to me and took me away. They were met by another angel who said: ‘Do not be alarmed,’ and they took me to Hell which was built like a well. In it were people, some of whom I recognized. Then they took me off to the right. In the morning I mentioned that to Hafsah, and Hafsah said that she told the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about it, and he said: ‘Abdullah is a righteous man, if only he would pray more at night.’”
Hadith 3924
´It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar concerning the dream of the Prophet (ﷺ) that he (the Prophet (ﷺ)) said:` “I saw a black woman with disheveled hair, who left Al-Madinah and went to stay in Al- Mahya’ah, which is Juhfah. I interpreted it as referring to an epidemic in Al-Madinah which moved to Juhfah.”
Hadith 3983
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` ‘The believer should not be stung from the same hole twice.’”
Hadith 4209
´It was narrated from Salim that his father said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘There is no envy except in two cases. A man to whom Allah has given (knowledge of) the Qur’an, so he recites it night and day, and a man to whom Allah has given wealth, so he spends it night and day.’”
