Hadith 1058
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْخَطَّابِ زِيَادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحَسَّانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ وَرْدَانَ أَبُو صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ السَّخْتِيَانِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ ، قَالَ : قَدِمَتْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقْبِيَةٌ ، فَقَالَ لِي أَبِي مَخْرَمَةُ : انْطَلِقْ بِنَا إِلَيْهِ عَسَى أَنْ يُعْطِيَنَا مِنْهَا شَيْئًا ، قَالَ : فَقَامَ أَبِي عَلَى الْبَابِ فَتَكَلَّمَ ، فَعَرَفَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَوْتَهُ ، فَخَرَجَ وَمَعَهُ قَبَاءٌ وَهُوَ يُرِيهِ مَحَاسِنَهُ ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : " خَبَأْتُ هَذَا لَكَ ، خَبَأْتُ هَذَا لَكَ " .
Miswar bin Makhrama reported: Some cloaks were presented to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) . My father Makhrama said to me: Come along with me to him; perhaps we may be able to get anything out of that (stock of cloaks). My father stood at the door and began to talk. The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) recognised him by his voice and came out and there was a cloak with him, and he was showing its beauties and saying: I kept it for you, I kept it for you.
Hadith 1409
وحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو غَسَّانَ الْمِسْمَعِيُّ ، حدثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى . ح وحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْخَطَّابِ زِيَادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حدثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَوَاءٍ ، قَالَا جَمِيعًا : حدثنا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ مَطَرٍ ، وَيَعْلَى بْنِ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم ، قَالَ : " لَا يَنْكِحُ الْمُحْرِمُ ، وَلَا يُنْكَح ، ولَا يَخْطُبُ " .
'Uthman bin 'Affan reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had said: A Muhrim should neither marry himself, nor should he be got married to anyone, nor should he make the proposal of marriage.
Hadith 1962
وحَدَّثَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ يَحْيَي الْحَسَّانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ وَرْدَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ أَضْحًى ، قَالَ : فَوَجَدَ رِيحَ لَحْمٍ ، فَنَهَاهُمْ أَنْ يَذْبَحُوا ، قَالَ : مَنْ كَانَ ضَحَّى فَلْيُعِدْ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِهِمَا .
Anas bin Malik (RA) reported: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) addressed us on the day of 'Id al-Adha. He smelt the odour of flesh and he prohibited thern from slaughtering (the animals before the 'Id prayer), saying: He who slaughtered the animals (before the 'Id prayer) should do that again (as it is not valid as a sacrifice).
