Hadith 581
Narrated `Umar: "The Prophet forbade praying after the Fajr prayer till the sun rises and after the `Asr prayer till the sun sets." Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Some people told me the same narration (as above).
Hadith 3239

قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَمِّ نَبِيِّكُمْ يَعْنِي
ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِي مُوسَى رَجُلًا آدَمَ طُوَالًا جَعْدًا كَأَنَّهُ مِنْ رِجَالِ شَنُوءَةَ ، وَرَأَيْتُ عِيسَى رَجُلًا مَرْبُوعًا مَرْبُوعَ الْخَلْقِ إِلَى الْحُمْرَةِ وَالْبَيَاضِ سَبِطَ الرَّأْسِ ، وَرَأَيْتُ مَالِكًا خَازِنَ النَّارِ وَالدَّجَّالَ فِي آيَاتٍ أَرَاهُنَّ اللَّهُ إِيَّاهُ فَلَا تَكُنْ فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِنْ لِقَائِهِ " ، قَالَ أَنَسٌ وَأَبُو بَكْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، تَحْرُسُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ الْمَدِينَةَ مِنَ الدَّجَّالِ " .
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet said, "On the night of my Ascent to the Heaven, I saw Moses who was a tall brown curlyhaired man as if he was one of the men of Shan'awa tribe, and I saw Jesus, a man of medium height and moderate complexion inclined to the red and white colors and of lank hair. I also saw Malik, the gate-keeper of the (Hell) Fire and Ad-Dajjal amongst the signs which Allah showed me." (The Prophet then recited the Holy Verse): "So be not you in doubt of meeting him' when you met Moses during the night of Mi'raj over the heavens" (32.23) Narrated Anas and Abu Bakra: "The Prophet said, "The angels will guard Medina from Ad-Dajjal (who will not be able to enter the city of Medina).
Hadith 3395
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet said, "One should not say that I am better than Jonah (i.e. Yunus) bin Matta." So, he mentioned his father Matta.
Hadith 3413
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet said, "No slave (of Allah) should say that I am better than Yunus bin Matta." So the Prophet mentioned his father's name with his name.
Hadith 4326

أَبَا عُثْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ
سَعْدًا وَهُوَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ،
وَأَبَا بَكْرَةَ ، وَكَانَ تَسَوَّرَ حِصْنَ الطَّائِفِ فِي أُنَاسٍ ، فَجَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَا : سَمِعْنَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ " ، وَقَالَ
هِشَامٌ : وَأَخْبَرَنَا
مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ
عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ ، أَوْ
أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ
سَعْدًا ،
وَأَبَا بَكْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ
عَاصِمٌ : قُلْتُ : لَقَدْ شَهِدَ عِنْدَكَ رَجُلَانِ حَسْبُكَ بِهِمَا ، قَالَ : أَجَلْ ، أَمَّا أَحَدُهُمَا فَأَوَّلُ مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، وَأَمَّا الْآخَرُ ، فَنَزَلَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَالِثَ ثَلَاثَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ مِنْ الطَّائِفِ .
Narrated Abu `Uthman: I heard from Sa`d, the first man who has thrown an arrow in Allah's Cause, and from Abu Bakra who jumped over the wall of the Ta'if Fort along with a few persons and came to the Prophet. They both said, "We heard the Prophet saying, " If somebody claims to be the son of somebody other than his father knowingly, he will be denied Paradise (i.e. he will not enter Paradise).' " Narrated Ma`mar from `Asim from Abu Al-`Aliya or Abu `Uthman An-Nahdi who said. "I heard Sa`d and Abu Bakra narrating from the Prophet." `Asim said, "I said (to him), 'Very trustworthy persons have narrated to you.' He said, 'Yes, one of them was the first to throw an arrow in Allah's Cause and the other came to the Prophet in a group of thirty-three persons from Ta'if.'

Hadith 4630
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet said, "Nobody has the rights to say that I am better than Jonah bin Matta."
Hadith 6345

أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ ، عَنِ
ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْعُو عِنْدَ الْكَرْبِ ، يَقُولُ : " لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ، وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ " .
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet used to invoke Allah at the time of distress, saying, "La ilaha illal-lahu Al-`Azim, al- Halim, La ilaha illal-lahu Rabbu-s-samawati wal-ard wa Rabbu-l-arsh il-azim."
Hadith 6346
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Allah's Apostle used to say at a time of distress, "La ilaha illal-lahu Rabbul-l-'arsh il-'azim, La ilaha illallahu Rabbu-s-samawati wa Rabbu-l-ard, Rabbu-l-'arsh-il-Karim."
Hadith 7426

مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا
وُهَيْبٌ ، عَنْ
سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ
قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ ، عَنْ
ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ عِنْدَ الْكَرْبِ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ " .
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet used to say at the time of difficulty, 'La ilaha il-lallah Al-`Alimul-Halim. La-ilaha illallah Rabul- Arsh-al-Azim, La ilaha-il-lallah Rabus-Samawati Rab-ul-Ard; wa Rab-ul-Arsh Al- Karim.' (See Hadith No. 356 and 357, Vol. 8)
Hadith 7431
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Allah's Apostle used to say at the time of difficulty, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the Majestic, the Most Forbearing. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the Lord of the Tremendous Throne. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the Lord of the Heavens and the Lord of the Honourable Throne. (See Hadith No. 357, Vol. 8)
Hadith 7539
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet said that his Lord said: "It does not befit a slave that he should say that he is better than Jonah (Yunus) bin Matta.
