Hadith 475
´Jubair narrated from Abu Ad-Darda, or Abu Dharr, that :` Allah's Messenger narrated that Allah, Blessed and Most High said: "Son of Adam: Perform four Rak'ah for Me in the beginning of the day it will suffice you for the latter part of it."
Hadith 744
´Abdullah bin Busr narrated from his sister that :` the Messenger of Allah said: "Do not fast on Saturday except for what has been made obligatory upon you (by Allah). If one of you does not find but a grape peal or a tree's twig, then let him chew it."
Hadith 745
´Aishah narrated:` "The Prophet used to try to fast on Mondays and Thursdays."
Hadith 1174
´Mu’adh bin Jabal narrated that The Prophet said:` “No woman annoys her husband in the world except that his wife among the Al-Huril-Ain said: ‘Do not annoy him, may Allah destroy you, he is only like a guest with, soon he will part from you for us.’”

أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، عَنْ
ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ
خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ
مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ عَيَّرَ أَخَاهُ بِذَنْبٍ لَمْ يَمُتْ حَتَّى يَعْمَلَهُ " , قَالَ أَحْمَدُ : " مِنْ ذَنْبٍ قَدْ تَابَ مِنْهُ " , قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ وَلَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِمُتَّصِلٍ ، وَخَالِدُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ لَمْ يُدْرِكْ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ ، وَرُوِيَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ أَنَّهُ أَدْرَكَ سَبْعِينَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَمَاتَ مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ فِي خِلَافَةِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ، وَخَالِدُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ ، رَوَى عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ مُعَاذٍ غَيْرَ حَدِيثٍ .
´Khalid bin Ma'dan narrated from Mu'adh bin Jabal that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:` "Whoever shames his brother for a sin, he shall not die until he (himself) commits it." (One of the narrators) Ahmad said: They said: 'From a sin he has repented from."
Hadith 2676

بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ
خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ
عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو السُّلَمِيِّ، عَنِ
الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ، قَالَ : وَعَظَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ مَوْعِظَةً بَلِيغَةً ذَرَفَتْ مِنْهَا الْعُيُونُ وَوَجِلَتْ مِنْهَا الْقُلُوبُ ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ : إِنَّ هَذِهِ مَوْعِظَةُ مُوَدِّعٍ ، فَمَاذَا تَعْهَدُ إِلَيْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " أُوصِيكُمْ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ ، وَالسَّمْعِ ، وَالطَّاعَةِ ، وَإِنْ عَبْدٌ حَبَشِيٌّ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ يَعِشْ مِنْكُمْ يَرَى اخْتِلَافًا كَثِيرًا ، وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَمُحْدَثَاتِ الْأُمُورِ فَإِنَّهَا ضَلَالَةٌ ، فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ ذَلِكَ مِنْكُمْ فَعَلَيْهِ بِسُنَّتِي وَسُنَّةِ الْخُلَفَاءِ الرَّاشِدِينَ الْمَهْدِيِّينَ ، عَضُّوا عَلَيْهَا بِالنَّوَاجِذِ " , قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ , وَقَدْ رَوَى ثَوْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو السُّلَمِيِّ ، عَنْ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ هَذَا.
´Narrated Al-'Irbad bin Sariyah:` "One day after the morning Salat, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) exhorted us to the extent that the eyes wept and the hearts shuddered with fear. A man said: 'Indeed this is a farewell exhortation. [So what] do you order us O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'I order you to have Taqwa of Allah, and to listen and obey, even in the case of an Ethiopian slave. Indeed, whomever among you lives, he will see much difference. Beware of the newly invented matters, for indeed they are astray. Whoever among you sees that, then he must stick to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided Khulafa', cling to it with the molars.'"

بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ
خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ
جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، عَنِ
النَّوَّاسِ بْنِ سَمْعَانَ الْكِلَابِيِّ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ ضَرَبَ مَثَلًا صِرَاطًا مُسْتَقِيمًا عَلَى كَنَفَيِ الصِّرَاطِ دَارَانِ لَهُمَا أَبْوَابٌ مُفَتَّحَةٌ ، عَلَى الْأَبْوَابِ سُتُورٌ ، وَدَاعٍ يَدْعُو عَلَى رَأْسِ الصِّرَاطِ ، وَدَاعٍ يَدْعُو فَوْقَهُ وَاللَّهُ يَدْعُو إِلَى دَارِ السَّلامِ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ سورة يونس آية 25 ، وَالْأَبْوَابُ الَّتِي عَلَى كَنَفَيِ الصِّرَاطِ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ ، فَلَا يَقَعُ أَحَدٌ فِي حُدُودِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يُكْشَفَ السِّتْرُ ، وَالَّذِي يَدْعُو مِنْ فَوْقِهِ وَاعِظُ رَبِّهِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَقُولُ ، سَمِعْتُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنَ عَدِيٍّ ، يَقُولُ ، قَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَاق الْفَزَارِيُّ : خُذُوا عَنْ بَقِيَّةَ مَا حَدَّثَكُمْ عَنِ الثِّقَاتِ ، وَلَا تَأْخُذُوا عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ مَا حَدَّثَكُمْ عَنِ الثِّقَاتِ وَلَا غَيْرِ الثِّقَاتِ .
´Narrated An-Nawwas bin Sam'an Al-Kilabi:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Indeed Allah has made a parable of the straight path: At the sides of the path there are walls with open doors, each door having a curtain. There is a caller at the head of the path calling, and a caller above it calling. And Allah invites to the abode of peace and guides whomever He wills to the straight path. The doors which are on the sides of the path are the Hudud (legal limitations) of Allah; no one breaches the Hudud of Allah except that curtain is lifted, and the one calling from above it is his Lord."
Hadith 2919

إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ
بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ
خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ
كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ
عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " الْجَاهِرُ بِالْقُرْآنِ كَالْجَاهِرِ بِالصَّدَقَةِ ، وَالْمُسِرُّ بِالْقُرْآنِ كَالْمُسِرِّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ، وَمَعْنَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ : أَنَّ الَّذِي يُسِرُّ بِقِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ أَفْضَلُ مِنَ الَّذِي يَجْهَرُ بِقِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ ، لِأَنَّ صَدَقَةَ السِّرِّ أَفْضَلُ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ صَدَقَةِ الْعَلَانِيَةِ ، وَإِنَّمَا مَعْنَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ لِكَيْ يَأْمَنَ الرَّجُلُ مِنَ الْعُجْبِ لِأَنَّ الَّذِي يُسِرُّ الْعَمَلَ ، لَا يُخَافُ عَلَيْهِ الْعُجْبُ مَا يُخَافُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ عَلَانِيَتِهِ .
´Narrated 'Uqbah bin 'Amir:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The one who recites the Qur'an aloud is like the one who gives charity publicly, and the one who recites the Qur'an quietly is like the one who gives charity secretly."
Hadith 2921
´Narrated 'Irbad bin Sariyah:` that the Prophet (ﷺ) would recite the Musabbihat (Chapters 17, 57, 59, 61, 62, 64 & 87) before sleep and say "Indeed there is an Ayah in them that is better than one thousand Ayat."
Hadith 3406
´Ar-Irbad bin Sariyah (ra) narrated that:` The Prophet (ﷺ) would not sleep until he had recited Al-Musabbihat, and he would say: “In them is an Ayah that is better than a thousand Ayah.”
Hadith 3456
´Abu Umamah narrated that :` when the table spread would be lifted from in front of him, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would say: “All praise is due to Allah, abundant, good, blessed praise, without being left off, nor being without need of it, O our Lord (Al-ḥamdulillāhi ḥamdan kathīran ṭayyiban mubārakan fīhi, ghaira muwadda`in, wa lā mustaghnan `anhu rabbanā).”
