Hadith 421
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَارِجَةُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عُتَيِّ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ السَّعْدِيِّ ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ لِلْوُضُوءِ شَيْطَانًا يُقَالُ لَهُ : وَلَهَانُ ، فَاتَّقُوا وَسْوَاسَ الْمَاءِ " .
´It was narrated that Ubayy bin Ka'b said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: 'There is a devil for ablution who is called Walahan, so be on guard against the insinuating thoughts (Waswas) about water.'"
Hadith 2128
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَارِجَةُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ نَذَرَ نَذْرًا وَلَمْ يُسَمِّهِ ، فَكَفَّارَتُهُ كَفَّارَةُ يَمِينٍ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ نَذْرًا لَمْ يُطِقْهُ ، فَكَفَّارَتُهُ كَفَّارَةُ يَمِينٍ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ نَذْرًا أَطَاقَهُ فَلْيَفِ بِهِ " .
´lt was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` "Whoever makes a vow and does not state it specifically, the expiation (for such a vow) is the expiation for breaking an oath. Whoever makes a vow and is not able to fulfill it, the expiation for that is the expiation for breaking an oath. Whoever makes a vow and is able to fulfill it, let him do so."
Hadith 3892
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ , عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ مُصْعَبٍ , عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ , وَلَيْسَ بِصَاحِبِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ مَوْلَى آلِ الزُّبَيْرِ , عَنْ سَالِم , عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ فَجِئَهُ صَاحِبُ بَلَاءٍ , فَقَالَ : الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي عَافَانِي مِمَّا ابْتَلَاكَ بِهِ , وَفَضَّلَنِي عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِمَّنْ خَلَقَ تَفْضِيلًا , عُوفِيَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْبَلَاءِ كَائِنًا مَا كَانَ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever unexpectedly comes across a person suffering a calamity, and says: Al-hamdu Lillahil-ladhi ‘afani mim-mabtalaka bihi, wa faddalani ‘ala kathirin mimman khalaqa tafdila (Praise is to Allah Who has kept me safe from that which has afflicted you and preferred me over many of those whom He has created), will be kept safe from that calamity, no matter what it is.’”
Hadith 3999
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ , عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ مُصْعَبٍ , عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ , عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ , عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا مِنْ صَبَاحٍ إِلَّا وَمَلَكَانِ يُنَادِيَانِ , وَيْلٌ لِلرِّجَالِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ , وَوَيْلٌ لِلنِّسَاءِ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “No morning comes but two angels call out: ‘Woe to men from women, and woe to women from men.’”
