Hadith 86
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي حَيَّةَ أَبُو جَنَابٍ الْكَلْبِيُّ ، عَنِ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا عَدْوَى ، وَلَا طِيَرَةَ ، وَلَا هَامَةَ " ، فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ أَعْرَابِيٌّ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ الْبَعِيرَ يَكُونُ بِهِ الْجَرَبُ فَيُجْرِبُ الْإِبِلَ كُلَّهَا ؟ قَالَ : " ذَلِكُمُ الْقَدَرُ فَمَنْ أَجْرَبَ الْأَوَّلَ " .
'Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no contagious disease, no bad omen, and no evil omen from owls in Islam." A Bedouin stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah! Tell me, a camel gets (mange), and then all the camels get mange from it? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "That is destiny; if it were not so, then who afflicted the first camel with it?" __QUR_N__, __XREF_N__, __REF_N__
