Hadith 413
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرُّؤَاسِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ خَلْفَهُ ، فَإِذَا كَبَّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، كَبَّرَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، لِيُسْمِعَنَا ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ .
Jabir said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led the prayer and Abu Bakr (RA) was behind him. When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited the takbir, Abu Bakr (RA) also recited (it) in order to make it audible to us. And the rest of the hadith is like one transmitted by Laith.
Hadith 1286
وحَدَّثَنَاه أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، وَحُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ ، وَزَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ حُمَيْدٍ ، قَالَ هِشَامٌ : وَالنَّصُّ فَوْقَ الْعَنَقِ .
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of 'Urwa with the same chain of transmitters. And in the hadith narrated by Humaid there is an addition (of these words): "Hisham said: Al-nass (speed of camel) is faster than al-'anaq."
Hadith 1685
وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرُّؤَاسِيُّ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " لَمْ تُقْطَعْ يَدُ سَارِقٍ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فِي أَقَلَّ مِنْ ثَمَنِ الْمِجَنِّ حَجَفَةٍ أَوْ تُرْسٍ وَكِلَاهُمَا ذُو ثَمَنٍ " ،
'A'isha reported that during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) the hand of the thief was not cut off for less than the price of a shield, iron coat or armour and both of them are valuable.
Hadith 1685
وحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، وَحُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ هِشَامٍ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرُّؤَاسِيِّ ، وَفِي حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ ، وَأَبِي أُسَامَةَ وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ذُو ثَمَنٍ .
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Hisham through another chain of transmitters, and in the hadith narrated by 'Abdul Rahim and Abu Usama (the words are): "That (the shield) was valuable those days."
Hadith 2196
وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ . ح وحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ صَالِحٍ كِلَاهُمَا ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قال : " رَخَّصَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الرُّقْيَةِ مِنَ الْعَيْنِ وَالْحُمَةِ وَالنَّمْلَةِ " ، وَفِي حَدِيثِ سُفْيَانَ يُوسُفَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ .
Anas reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) granted him sanction to use incantation (as a cure) for the influence of an evil eye, the sting of the scorpion and small pustules.
Hadith 2586
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ ، عَنْ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمُسْلِمُونَ كَرَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ إِنِ اشْتَكَى عَيْنُهُ اشْتَكَى كُلُّهُ ، وَإِنِ اشْتَكَى رَأْسُهُ اشْتَكَى كُلُّهُ " .
Nu'man bin Bashir reported that Muslims are like one body of a person; if the eye is sore, the whole body aches, and if the head aches, the whole body aches.
Hadith 2586
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، نَحْوَهُ .
A hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of Nu'man bin Bashir through another chain of transmitters.
Hadith 2851
حَدَّثَنِي سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " ضِرْسُ الْكَافِرِ أَوْ نَابُ الْكَافِرِ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ وَغِلَظُ جِلْدِهِ مَسِيرَةُ ثَلَاثٍ " .
It is transmitted on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: The molar tooth of an unbeliever or the canine teeth of an unbeliever will be like Ubud and the thickness of his skin a three night's journey.
