Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that during the Battle of Ahzab, Sa’d bin Mu’adh (may Allah be pleased with him) was struck by an arrow; the disbelievers had cut his Akhil or Abjal vein (a vein in the arm). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) cauterized it with fire, so his hand swelled, and thus he left it. Then the blood began to flow again, so he cauterized it again, and his hand swelled. When Sa’d bin Mu’adh (may Allah be pleased with him) saw this, he prayed: “O Allah! Do not take my soul until my eyes are cooled by (witnessing) the destruction and humiliation of Banu Qurayzah.” So his vein stopped bleeding, and not a single drop of blood dripped from it, until Banu Qurayzah descended (from their fortress) at the command of Sa’d bin Mu’adh (may Allah be pleased with him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called Sa’d, and he came and judged that their men should be killed and their women kept alive so that the Muslims could benefit from their service. __QUR_N__ The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “You have judged concerning them with the judgment of Allah.” Their number was four hundred. When he finished with their execution, Sa’d’s vein opened and he passed away. __QUR_N__ Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih (good and authentic).

Ibn Abi Ammar says: I asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): Is the hyena also considered game? He said: Yes. I asked: Can it be eaten? He said: Yes. I asked: Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say this? He said: Yes. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is hasan sahih.
2- Yahya Qattan says: Jarir bin Hazim narrated this hadith with this chain: Abdullah bin Ubaid bin Umair from Ibn Abi Ammar, Ibn Abi Ammar from Jabir, and Jabir from the statement of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). Ibn Jurayj’s narration is more authentic.
3- Some people of knowledge hold this view; they do not see any harm in eating hyena. This is also the opinion of Ahmad and Ishaq bin Rahwayh.
4- There is a hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) regarding the dislike of eating hyena, but its chain is not strong.
5- Some people of knowledge consider eating the badger to be disliked; this is also the opinion of Ibn Mubarak.

´Jabir bin 'Abdullah said:` "I was ill, so the Messenger of Allah(S.A.W)came to visit me and found me unconscious. He came walking while Abu Bakr and 'Umar were with him. The Messenger of Allah(S.A.W) performed Wudu, then poured the remaining water on me, so I came to my senses. I said: 'O Messenger of Allah(S.A.W)! how shall I dispose of my wealth?' - or - 'What shall I do with my wealth?' He did not reply anything to me" -and he had nine sisters- "until the Ayah about the inheritance was revealed: they ask you for a legal verdict. Say: "Allah directs (thus) about Al-Kalalah." Jabir said: "It was revealed regarding me."
Hadith 2108
´Jabir narrated that the Prophet(S.A.W) said:` "The people of two religions do not inherit from each other."
Hadith 2144
