Hadith 377
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ خَالَتِهِ مَيْمُونَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that his maternal aunt Maimunah said:` "The Messager of Allah and I used to take bath from a single vessel."
Hadith 908
حَدَّثَنَا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ نَسِيَ الصَّلَاةَ عَلَيَّ خَطِئَ طَرِيقَ الْجَنَّةِ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Whoever forgets to send peace and blessings upon me, then he has missed the road to Paradise.’”
Hadith 949
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " يَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ : الْكَلْبُ الْأَسْوَدُ ، وَالْمَرْأَةُ الْحَائِضُ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “The prayer is severed by a black dog and a woman who has reached the age of menstruation.”
Hadith 1938
حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُرِيدَ عَلَى بِنْتِ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ ، وَإِنَّهُ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas:` that the Messenger of was offered the daughter of Hamzah bin 'Abdul-Muttalib in marriage, and he said: “She is the daughter of my brother through breastfeeding, and breastfeeding makes unlawful (for marriage) the same things that blood ties make unlawful.”
Hadith 1965
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الْبَاهِلِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : " أَنِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَكَحَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٍ " .
'Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) says that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) married (Maimunah, may Allah be pleased with her) while he was in the state of Ihram 1.
Hadith 2485
حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الطَّائِفِيُّ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كُلُّ قَسْمٍ قُسِمَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَهُوَ عَلَى مَا قُسِمَ ، وَكُلُّ قَسْمٍ أَدْرَكَهُ الْإِسْلَامُ فَهُوَ عَلَى قَسْمِ الْإِسْلَامِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn `Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Every division that was allocated according to (the rules of) the Ignorance days, stands as it is, and every division that was allocated according to (the rules of) Islam, stands according to the rules of Islam.”
Hadith 2931
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ ، قَالَ هِشَامٌ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ : " مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا فَلْيَلْبَسْ سَرَاوِيلَ ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ " ، وقَالَ هِشَامٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : " فَلْيَلْبَسْ سَرَاوِيلَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَفْقِدَ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) delivering a sermon – (one of the narrators) Hisham said: ‘On the pulpit’ – and he said: ‘Whoever does not have a waist wrap, let him wear pants or pajamas, and whoever does not have sandals, let him wear leather socks.’” In his narration, Hisham said: “If he does not find any, then let him wear pants or pajamas.”
Hadith 3975
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا خَالِي يَعْلَى , عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ , عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , عَنْ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ , قَالَ : قِيلَ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ : إِنَّا نَدْخُلُ عَلَى أُمَرَائِنَا , فَنَقُولُ الْقَوْلَ , فَإِذَا خَرَجْنَا قُلْنَا غَيْرَهُ , قَالَ : " كُنَّا نَعُدُّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النِّفَاقَ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Sha’tha said:` “It was said to Ibn ‘Umar: ‘We enter upon our rulers and say one thing, and when we leave we say something else.’ He said: ‘At the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), we used to regard that as hypocrisy.’”
