´Bahz bin Hakim narrated from his father, from his grandfather who said:` "When something was brought to him, the Messenger of Allah would ask: 'Is this charity or a gift?' If they said: 'Charity.' He would not eat it, and if they said, 'A gift' he would eat it."

Muawiyah bin Haidah Qushayri (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! With whom should I do good and maintain ties of kinship?" He replied, "With your mother." I asked, "Then with whom?" He said, "With your mother." I asked, "Then with whom?" He said, "With your mother." I asked, "Then with whom?" He said, "Then with your father, then with your relatives, then the closest among them, then those after them, step by step." .
Imam Tirmidhi says: 1- This hadith is Hasan. Shu’bah has spoken about Bahz bin Hakeem, but according to the scholars of hadith, he is trustworthy. From him, Ma’mar, Thawri, Hammad bin Salamah, and many Imams of hadith have narrated. 2- In this chapter, there are also ahadith from Abu Hurairah, Abdullah bin Amr, Aisha, and Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with them).

I said: "What about a man when he is alone?" He said: "Allah is most deserving of being shy from Him."

He said: 'Allah is more deserving of being shy from Him than the people.'"
