Hadith 1170
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تُسَافِرُ امْرَأَةٌ مَسِيرَةَ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ إِلَّا وَمَعَهَا ذُو مَحْرَمٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Abu Hurairah narrated that The Messenger of Allah said:` “A woman is not to travel the distance of a day and a night unless she is accompanied by someone who is a Mahram.”
Hadith 1423
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقُطَعِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ , حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ , حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ , عَنْ قَتَادَةَ , عَنْ الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ , عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ : عَنِ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ , وَعَنِ الصَّبِيِّ حَتَّى يَشِبَّ , وَعَنِ الْمَعْتُوهِ حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ " . قَالَ : وَفِي الْبَاب , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : حَدِيثُ عَلِيٍّ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ , وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ , عَنْ عَلِيٍّ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَذَكَرَ بَعْضُهُمْ : وَعَنِ الْغُلَامِ حَتَّى يَحْتَلِمَ , وَلَا نَعْرِفُ لِلْحَسَنِ سَمَاعًا مِنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ , وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ , عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ , عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ , وَرَوَاهُ الْأَعْمَشُ , عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , عَنْ عَلِيٍّ , مَوْقُوفًا وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ , وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ , قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : قَدْ كَانَ الْحَسَنُ فِي زَمَانِ عَلِيٍّ وَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهُ , وَلَكِنَّا لَا نَعْرِفُ لَهُ سَمَاعًا مِنْهُ , وَأَبُو ظَبْيَانَ اسْمُهُ : حُصَيْنُ بْنُ جُنْدَبٍ .
´Narrated 'Ali:` That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The pen has been lifted from three; for the sleeping person until he awakens, for the boy until he becomes a young man and for the mentally insane until he regains sanity."
Hadith 1610
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ، أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَوْسِ بْنِ الْحَدَثَانِ، قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، وَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ، وَالزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ، وَسَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ عَلِيٌّ، وَالْعَبَّاسُ، يَخْتَصِمَانِ ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ لَهُمْ : أَنْشُدُكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي بِإِذْنِهِ تَقُومُ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ ، تَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا نُورَثُ مَا تَرَكْنَا صَدَقَةٌ ؟ " ، قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ عُمَرُ : فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : أَنَا وَلِيُّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَجِئْتَ أَنْتَ وَهَذَا إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ تَطْلُبُ أَنْتَ مِيرَاثَكَ مِنَ ابْنِ أَخِيكَ ، وَيَطْلُبُ هَذَا مِيرَاثَ امْرَأَتِهِ مِنْ أَبِيهَا ، فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا نُورَثُ مَا تَرَكْنَا صَدَقَةٌ " ، وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّهُ صَادِقٌ بَارٌّ رَاشِدٌ تَابِعٌ لِلْحَقِّ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ قِصَّةٌ طَوِيلَةٌ ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ .
Malik bin Aws bin Hadthan says: I went to Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), and at that time, Uthman bin Affan, Zubair bin Awwam, Abdur Rahman bin Awf, and Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with them) also arrived. Then Ali and Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) came while disputing. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said to them: I ask you by Allah, by whose command the heavens and the earth are established, do you know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “We (i.e., the Prophets) have no heirs; whatever we leave behind is charity”? The people said: Yes! Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I am the successor of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Then you came to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), seeking your share from the inheritance of your nephew, and this one (came) seeking the inheritance of her father for his wife. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “We (i.e., the Prophets) have no heirs; whatever we leave behind is charity.” (Umar [may Allah be pleased with him] said) Allah knows best, Abu Bakr was truthful, righteous, good, and a follower of the truth. © Imam Tirmidhi says:

Hadith 1639
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ رُزَيْقٍ أَبُو شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءٌ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " عَيْنَانِ لَا تَمَسُّهُمَا النَّارُ : عَيْنٌ بَكَتْ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ ، وَعَيْنٌ بَاتَتْ تَحْرُسُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْبَاب ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ ، وَأَبِي رَيْحَانَةَ ، وَحَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ، لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ رُزَيْقٍ .
‘Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: “Two eyes will not be touched by the fire of Hell: one eye that wept out of fear of Allah, and one eye that spent the night standing guard in the path of Allah.” © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- The hadith of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) is Hasan Gharib; we know it only through the narration of Shu‘aib bin Riziq,
2- In this chapter, there are also ahadith from ‘Uthman and Abu Rayhanah (may Allah be pleased with them).

Hadith 1978
حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَخْزَمَ الطَّائِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا لَعَنَ الرِّيحَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " لَا تَلْعَنِ الرِّيحَ ، فَإِنَّهَا مَأْمُورَةٌ ، وَإِنَّهُ مَنْ لَعَنَ شَيْئًا لَيْسَ لَهُ بِأَهْلٍ رَجَعَتِ اللَّعْنَةُ عَلَيْهِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ ، لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا أَسْنَدَهُ غَيْرَ بِشْرِ بْنِ عُمَرَ .
´'Ibn 'Abbas narrated that a man cursed the wind in the presence of the Prophet, so he said:` "Do not curse the wind, for it is merely doing as ordered , and whoever curses something undeservingly, then the curse returns upon him."
