Hadith 14
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَرْوَانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْعُثْمَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عن الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ أَحْدَثَ فِي أَمْرِنَا هَذَا مَا لَيْسَ مِنْهُ فَهُوَ رَدٌّ " .
´Aishah narrated that:` The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever innovates something in this matter of ours (i.e. Islam) that is not part of it, will have it rejected."
Hadith 608
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ : " إِذَا الْتَقَى الْخِتَانَانِ فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الْغُسْلُ ، فَعَلْتُهُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاغْتَسَلْنَا " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah the wife of the Prophet said:` "When the two circumcised parts meet, then bath is obligatory. The Messenger of Allah and I did that, and we bathed."
Hadith 612
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنِ الْعُمَرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ نَوْمِهِ فَرَأَى بَلَلًا ، وَلَمْ يَرَ أَنَّهُ احْتَلَمَ اغْتَسَلَ ، وَإِذَا رَأَى أَنَّهُ قَدِ احْتَلَمَ ، وَلَمْ يَرَ بَلَلًا فَلَا غُسْلَ عَلَيْهِ " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah that:` The Prophet said: "If anyone of wakes up and sees some wetness, but he does not think that he had an erotic dream, let him have a bath. But if he thinks that he had an erotic dream but he does not see any wetness, then he does not have to take a bath."
Hadith 630
حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : " إِنْ كَانَتْ إِحْدَانَا لَتَحِيضُ ، ثُمَّ تَقْتَنِصُ الدَّمَ مِنْ ثَوْبِهَا عِنْدَ طُهْرِهَا فَتَغْسِلُهُ ، وَتَنْضَحُ عَلَى سَائِرِهِ ، ثُمَّ تُصَلِّي فِيهِ " .
´It was narrated that 'Aisha the wife of the Prophet said:` "One of us used to menstruate, then rub the blood off her garment when she became pure again, and wash it, and sprinkle water over the rest of the garment, then perform prayer in it."
Hadith 702
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْلَى الطَّائِفِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " مَا نَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ الْعِشَاءِ وَلَا سَمَرَ بَعْدَهَا " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "The Messenger of Allah did not sleep before the 'Isha' nor stay up (talking) after it."
Hadith 1259
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ خَوَّاتٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْخَوْفِ : قَالَ : " يَقُومُ الْإِمَامُ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ ، وَتَقُومُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْهُمْ مَعَهُ ، وَطَائِفَةٌ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْعَدُوِّ وَوُجُوهُهُمْ إِلَى الصَّفِّ ، فَيَرْكَعُ بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً وَيَرْكَعُونَ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ ، وَيَسْجُدُونَ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ فِي مَكَانِهِمْ ، ثُمَّ يَذْهَبُونَ إِلَى مُقَامِ أُولَئِكَ ، وَيَجِيءُ أُولَئِكَ فَيَرْكَعُ بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً وَيَسْجُدُ بِهِمْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ، فَهِيَ لَهُ ثِنْتَانِ وَلَهُمْ وَاحِدَةٌ ، ثُمَّ يَرْكَعُونَ رَكْعَةً وَيَسْجُدُونَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ " ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ : فَسَأَلْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانَ عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ ، فَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ خَوَّاتٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ لِي يَحْيَى : اكْتُبْهُ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ ، وَلَسْتُ أَحْفَظُ الْحَدِيثَ ، وَلَكِنْ مِثْلُ حَدِيثِ يَحْيَى .
´It was narrated from Sahl bin Abu Hathmah that he said concerning the fear prayer:` “The Imam should stand facing the Qiblah, and a group of them should stand with him, and another group should stand in the direction of the enemy, facing towards the row (of worshippers). He should lead them in one Rak’ah, then they should bow and do two prostrations by themselves where they are. Then they should go and take the place of the others, and the others should come and pray one Rak’ah, bowing and prostrating with the leader. Then he will have prayed two Rak’ah and they will have prayed one; then they should perform another Rak’ah, bowing and performing two prostrations.”
Hadith 1456
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " قَبَّلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ مَظْعُونٍ وَهُوَ مَيِّتٌ ، فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى دُمُوعِهِ تَسِيلُ عَلَى خَدَّيْهِ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) kissed ‘Uthman bin Maz’un when he had died, and it is as if I can see him with his tears flowing down his cheeks.”
Hadith 1623
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَرْجِسَ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَمُوتُ وَعِنْدَهُ قَدَحٌ فِيهِ مَاءٌ ، فَيُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ فِي الْقَدَحِ ، ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُ وَجْهَهُ بِالْمَاءِ ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى سَكَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when he was dying, and there was a bowl of water next to him. He put his hand in the vessel and wiped his face with the water, and said: ‘O Allah, help me to bear the agonies of death.’”
Hadith 1684
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقَبِّلُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ ، وَأَيُّكُمْ يَمْلِكُ إِرْبَهُ كَمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْلِكُ إِرْبَهُ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to kiss when he was fasting, and who among you can control his desire as the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to control his desire?”
Hadith 1846
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْأَزْهَرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " النِّكَاحُ مِنْ سُنَّتِي ، فَمَنْ لَمْ يَعْمَلْ بِسُنَّتِي فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي ، وَتَزَوَّجُوا فَإِنِّي مُكَاثِرٌ بِكُمُ الْأُمَمَ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ ذَا طَوْلٍ فَلْيَنْكِحْ ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَعَلَيْهِ بِالصِّيَامِ ، فَإِنَّ الصَّوْمَ لَهُ وِجَاءٌ " .
´It was narrated from Aishah that:` the Messenger of Allah said: “Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me. Get married, for I will boast of your great numbers before the nations. Whoever has the means, let him get married, and whoever does not, then he should fast for it will diminish his desire.”
Hadith 1873
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، أَنَّ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ ، وَمُجَمِّعَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّيْنِ ، أَخْبَرَاهُ : " أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْهُمْ يُدْعَى خِذَامًا أَنْكَحَ ابْنَةً لَهُ ، فَكَرِهَتْ نِكَاحَ أَبِيهَا ، فَأَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَتْ لَهُ ، فَرَدَّ عَلَيْهَا نِكَاحَ أَبِيهَا ، فَنَكَحَتْ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْمُنْذِرِ ، وَذَكَرَ يَحْيَى أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ ثَيِّبًا " .
´Abdur Rahman bin Yazid Al-Ansari and Mujamma bin Yazid Al-Ansari said:` that a man among them who was called Khidam arranged a marriage for his daughter, and she did not like the marriage arranged by her father. She went to the Messenger of Allah and told him about that, and he annulled the marriage arranged by her father. Then she married Abu Lubabah bin Abdul-Mundhir.
Hadith 1895
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ ، وَالْخَلِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ إِلْيَاسَ ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَعْلِنُوا هَذَا النِّكَاحَ ، وَاضْرِبُوا عَلَيْهِ بِالْغِرْبَالِ " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah:` that the Prophet said: “Announce this marriage, and beat the sieve for it.”
Hadith 1942
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : " كَانَ فِيمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ ، ثُمَّ سَقَطَ لَا يُحَرِّمُ إِلَّا عَشْرُ رَضَعَاتٍ ، أَوْ خَمْسٌ مَعْلُومَاتٌ " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` “Once of the things that Allah revealed in the the Qur'an and then abrogated was that nothing makes marriage prohibited except ten breastfeedings or five well-known (breastfeedings).”
Hadith 1943
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : جَاءَتْ سَهْلَةُ بِنْتُ سُهَيْلٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي أَرَى فِي وَجْهِ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ الْكَرَاهِيَةَ مِنْ دُخُولِ سَالِمٍ عَلَيَّ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَرْضِعِيهِ " ، قَالَتْ : كَيْفَ أُرْضِعُهُ وَهُوَ رَجُلٌ كَبِيرٌ ؟ فَتَبَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ : " قَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّهُ رَجُلٌ كَبِيرٌ " فَفَعَلَتْ ، فَأَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَتْ : مَا رَأَيْتُ فِي وَجْهِ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ شَيْئًا أَكْرَهُهُ بَعْدُ وَكَانَ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` “Sahlah bint Suhail came to the Prophet and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I see signs of displeasure on the face of Abu Hudhaifah when Salim enters upon me.” The Prophet said: “Breastfeed him.” She said: “How can I breastfeed him when he is a grown man? The Messenger of Allah smiled and said: “I know that he is a grown man.” So she did that, then she came to the Prophet and said: “I have never seen any signs of displeasure on the face of Abu Hudhayfah after that.” And he was present at (the battle of) Badr.
Hadith 2080
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ مُظَاهِرِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " طَلَاقُ الْأَمَةِ تَطْلِيقَتَانِ ، وَقُرْؤُهَا حَيْضَتَانِ " . (حديث موقوف) (حديث مرفوع) قَالَ أَبُو عَاصِمٍ : فَذَكَرْتُهُ لِمُظَاهِرٍ ، فَقُلْتُ : حَدِّثْنِي كَمَا حَدَّثْتَ ابْنَ جُرَيْجٍ ، فَأَخْبَرَنِي : عَنَ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " طَلَاقُ الْأَمَةِ تَطْلِيقَتَانِ ، وَقُرْؤُهَا حَيْضَتَانِ " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` "The divorce of a slave woman is twice, and her (waiting) period is two menstrual cycles." Abu 'Asim said: "I mentioned this to Muzahir and said: 'Tell me what you told Ibn Juraij.' So he told me, narrating from Qasim from 'Aishah, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'The divorce of a slave woman is twice, and her (waiting) period is two menstrual cycles."'
Hadith 2126
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَت : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللَّهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ ، وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللَّهَ فَلَا يَعْصِهِ " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` "Whoever vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him, and whoever vows to disobey Allah, let him not disobey Him. "
Hadith 2151
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ الصُّوَرِ يُعَذَّبُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، يُقَالُ لَهُمْ : أَحْيُوا مَا خَلَقْتُمْ " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` "The image-makers will be punished on the Day of Resurrection and will be told: 'Give life to that which you have created.' "
Hadith 2532
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا كَانَ لَهَا غُلَامٌ وَجَارِيَةٌ زَوْجٌ ، فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُعْتِقَهُمَا ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنْ أَعْتَقْتِهِمَا فَابْدَئِي بِالرَّجُلِ قَبْلَ الْمَرْأَةِ " .
´It was narrated that :` `Aishah had a male slave and a female slave who were married. She said: “O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), I want to free them both.” The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “If you free them, then start with the man before the woman.”
Hadith 2560
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : ذَكَرَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ الْمُتَلَاعِنَيْنِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ ابْنُ شَدَّادٍ : هِيَ الَّتِي قَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَوْ كُنْتُ رَاجِمًا أَحَدًا بِغَيْرِ بَيِّنَةٍ لَرَجَمْتُهَا " ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : تِلْكَ امْرَأَةٌ أَعْلَنَتْ .
´It was narrated that Qasim bin Muhammad said:` “Ibn `Abbas mentioned two people who had engaged in the process of Li`an. Ibn Shaddad said to him: 'Is this the one of whom the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “If I were to stone anyone without proof I would have stoned so-and-so.” Ibn`Abbas said: 'No, that was a woman who, (although she was a Muslim), used to expose herself.'”
Hadith 2911
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " نُفِسَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ بِالشَّجَرَةِ ، فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ ، أَنْ يَأْمُرَهَا أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ وَتُهِلَّ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “Asma’ bint ‘Umais gave birth at Shajarah, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) told Abu Bakr to tell her to take a bath and begin the Talbiyah.”
Hadith 2912
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ : " أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ حَاجًّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعَهُ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ ، فَوَلَدَتْ بِالشَّجَرَةِ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، فَأَتَى أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ ، فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَنْ يَأْمُرَهَا أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ ، ثُمَّ تُهِلَّ بِالْحَجِّ ، وَتَصْنَعَ مَا يَصْنَعُ النَّاسُ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهَا لَا تَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ " .
It was narrated from Abu Bakr that he went out for Hajj with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and Asma’ bint ‘Umais was with him. She gave birth, at Shajarah, to Muhammad bin Abu Bakr. Abu Bakr came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and told him about that, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) told him to tell her to take a bath, then begin the Talbiyah for Hajj, and to do everything that the people did, apart from circumambulating the House (Tawaf).
Hadith 2926
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ جَمِيعًا ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : " طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِإِحْرَامِهِ ، قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ ، وَلِحِلِّهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُفِيضَ " ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : بِيَدَيَّ هَاتَيْنِ .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “I put perfume on the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for his Ihram before he entered into it, and when he exited Ihram before he returned.”*
Hadith 2963
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا نَرَى إِلَّا الْحَجَّ ، فَلَمَّا كُنَّا بِسَرِفَ أَوْ قَرِيبًا مِنْ سَرِفَ حِضْتُ ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَبْكِي ، فَقَالَ : " مَا لَكِ ، أَنَفِسْتِ ؟ " ، قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ هَذَا أَمْرٌ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى بَنَاتِ آدَمَ ، فَاقْضِي الْمَنَاسِكَ كُلَّهَا ، غَيْرَ أَنْ لَا تَطُوفِي بِالْبَيْتِ " ، قَالَتْ : وَضَحَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نِسَائِهِ بِالْبَقَرِ .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “We went out with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), intending only to perform Hajj. When we were in Sarif or close to Sarif, my menses came. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon me when I was weeping. He said: ‘What is the matter with you? Have your menses come?’ I said: ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘This is something that Allah has decreed for the daughters of Adam. Do all the rites, but do not circumambulate the House.’” She said: “And the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sacrificed a cow on behalf of his wives.”
Hadith 2964
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، وَأَبُو مُصْعَبٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَفْرَدَ الْحَجَّ " .
It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performed Hajj Ifrad.*
Hadith 3027
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ " أَنَّ سَوْدَةَ بِنْتَ زَمْعَةَ كَانَتِ امْرَأَةً ثَبْطَةً ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تَدْفَعَ مِنْ جَمْعٍ قَبْلَ دَفْعَةِ النَّاسِ ، فَأَذِنَ لَهَا " .
It was narrated from ‘Aishah that Sawdah bint Zam’ah was a slow- moving woman, so she asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for permission to depart from Jam’ ahead of the people, and he gave her permission.
Hadith 3042
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِي مُحَمَّدٌ ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِإِحْرَامِهِ حِينَ أَحْرَمَ ، وَلِإِحْلَالِهِ حِينَ أَحَلَّ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “I applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for his Ihram when he entered Ihram, and when he exited Ihram.”
Hadith 3098
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ أَفْلَحَ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَلَّدَ ، وَأَشْعَرَ ، وَأَرْسَلَ بِهَا ، وَلَمْ يَجْتَنِبْ مَا يَجْتَنِبُ الْمُحْرِمُ " .
It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Prophet (ﷺ) garlanded, and marked, and sent (the sacrificial animals), but he did not avoid anything that the one in Ihram avoids.
Hadith 3249
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْحَيَّةُ فَاسِقَةٌ ، وَالْعَقْرَبُ فَاسِقَةٌ ، وَالْفَأْرَةُ فَاسِقَةٌ ، وَالْغُرَابُ فَاسِقٌ " ، فَقِيلَ لِلْقَاسِمِ : أَيُؤْكَلُ الْغُرَابُ ؟ ، قَالَ : مَنْ يَأْكُلُهُ بَعْدَ قَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاسِقًا .
´It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Snakes are vermin, scorpions are vermin, mice are vermin and crows are vermin.”
Hadith 3653
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ , عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ , عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : سَتَرْتُ سَهْوَةً لِي تَعْنِي : الدَّاخِلَ بِسِتْرٍ فِيهِ تَصَاوِيرُ , فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَتَكَهُ , فَجَعَلْتُ مِنْهُ مَنْبُوذَتَيْنِ : " فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُتَّكِئًا عَلَى إِحْدَاهُمَا " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “I covered a small room closet of mine, meaning, from the inside, with a curtain on which there were images. When the Prophet (ﷺ) came, he tore it down, so I made two pillows from it, and I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) reclining on one of them.”
Hadith 3890
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي الْعِشْرِينَ , حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ , أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ , أَنَّ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ أَخْبَرَهُ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , كَانَ إِذَا رَأَى الْمَطَرَ , قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ صَيِّبًا هَنِيئًا " .
´It was narrated from ‘Aishah that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw rain, he would say:` “Allahumma aj’alhu sayyiban hani’an (O Allah, make it a wholesome rain cloud).”
Hadith 4276
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ , عَنْ حَاتِمِ بْنِ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ , عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ , قَالَ : قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ , قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , كَيْفَ يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ؟ قَالَ : " حُفَاةً عُرَاةً " , قُلْتُ : وَالنِّسَاءُ ؟ قَالَ : " وَالنِّسَاءُ " , قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , فَمَا يُسْتَحْيَا , قَالَ : " يَا عَائِشَةُ , الْأَمْرُ أَشَدُّ مِنْ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ " .
´It was narrated that Qasim said:` ‘Aishah said: “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, how will the people be gathered on the Day of Resurrection?’ He said: ‘Barefoot and naked.’ I said: ‘And the women?’ He said: ‘And the women.’ I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, will we not feel embarrassed?’ He said: ‘O ‘Aishah, the matter will be too serious for them to look at one another.’”
