´Narrated 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair:` "A man from the Ansar disputed with Az-Zubair before the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about the canals of Harrah which they used to irrigate the date palms. The Ansari said: 'Let the water pass'. But he refused, So they brought their dispute to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to Az-Zubair: 'O Zubair! Irrigate (your land) then let the water pass to you neighbor.' The Ansari became angry and said:'[O Messenger of Allah!] Is this because he is your aunt's son?' The face of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) changed color. Then he said: 'O Zubair! Irrigate (your land) and then withhold the water until it reaches the walls.' Az-Zubair said: 'By Allah! I think that this Ayah was revealed about that: But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith until they make you (O Muhammad) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions and accept (them) with full submission.'"
Hadith 1610
Malik bin Aws bin Hadthan says: I went to Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), and at that time, Uthman bin Affan, Zubair bin Awwam, Abdur Rahman bin Awf, and Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with them) also arrived. Then Ali and Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) came while disputing. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said to them: I ask you by Allah, by whose command the heavens and the earth are established, do you know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “We (i.e., the Prophets) have no heirs; whatever we leave behind is charity”? The people said: Yes! Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I am the successor of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Then you came to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), seeking your share from the inheritance of your nephew, and this one (came) seeking the inheritance of her father for his wife. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “We (i.e., the Prophets) have no heirs; whatever we leave behind is charity.” (Umar [may Allah be pleased with him] said) Allah knows best, Abu Bakr was truthful, righteous, good, and a follower of the truth. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
There is detail in this hadith; this hadith from Malik bin Aws’s narration is Hasan Sahih Gharib.
Hadith 1692
Zubair bin Al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him) says: On the day of the Battle of Uhud, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was wearing two coats of armor __QUR_N__, he tried to climb a rock, but could not do so. He made Talhah bin Ubaidullah sit beneath him, then he climbed upon him until he stood upright on the rock. Zubair says: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Talhah has made Paradise obligatory (for himself) by his deed." __REF_N__ Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Gharib; we know it only through the narration of Muhammad bin Ishaq,
2- In this chapter, there are also ahadith from Safwan bin Umayyah and Sa'ib bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with them both).
Hadith 2510
´Az-Zubair bin Al-'Awwam narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said:` "The disease of the nations before you is creeping towards you: Envy and hatred, it is the Haliqah. I do not speak of what cuts the hair, but what severs the religion. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! You will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love each other. Shall I tell you about what will strengthen that for you? Spread the Salam among each other."
Hadith 3007
‘Abd bin Humaid narrated from Zubair, may Allah be pleased with him, in a similar manner. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
This hadith is Hasan Sahih.
